Thor and his wife, Anastasia, photographed our wedding on 6/11/11 in Healdsburg, CA. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and were very accomodating on such a hectic day. They worked with us from the very beginning so as to get enough pictures while not smothering us with picture requests all day. Also, they had an amazing eye for landscapes and lighting, and we were absolutely floored at how amazing the pictures turned out. Overall, the quality about them that was the most welcoming was their sincerity. They were very open and honest on the direction we should take with the pictures, and their friendliness opened us to take some very candid and warm pictures that anyone can be proud of. They just seemed to be at the right place at the right time for every picture. We would highly recommend Thor and Anastasia in a heart beat for any event, and we dream of the day when the two of them can photograph our family as it grows over time.

A friend of ours recommended Thor and we are so happy we took her advice! Our wedding (and engagement) photos are truly beautiful. Thor has an ability to capture the perfect light in every photo; each one is a work of art. On our wedding day, Thor and his wife Anastasia made the two of us, who are not used to being photographed so much, very comfortable. During other weddings I’ve attended in the past, I’ve joked that it seems like the photographers are the paparazzi, always in the way and in everyone’s face. Thor and Anastasia somehow managed to stay in the background while still capturing every shot we wanted. Not only are they great at what they do, they are also really great people. They are very friendly and easy to get along with and work with. I highly recommend them.

It was a great experience working with Thor and his wife, Anastasia, on our reception on 1/29/2011. They arrived on time and accommodated to our special request of taking pictures of us in our house and with our cat(s). They were very passionate, friendly, and easy to work with. They kept the shoot loose and fun. They had great ideas for poses and set-ups for memorable pictures. They took terrific pictures of our reception as well. They were very organized in determining the group pictures so that no one was missed. Anastasia was very caring and went above and beyond caring for the bride in the wet weather.

We received proofs of our photos and CDs very quickly, and we are looking forward to creating our album. All of the deliverables are spelled out in the contract, along with detailed instructions for the next steps. Thor was also very responsive to communications by email. We were really satisfied with the deliverables and we are very happy to have had them participate in our reception. We look forward to working with them again in the future!

Having a husband and wife photo journalist team was the best decision we could have made when planning our wedding. Not only did they pay attention to the closest detail, but they also expertly told the story of our entire wedding day (10 hours!). Being the bride, I was tense, but they made me feel calm & relaxed while in front of the camera and half the time I didn't even notice they were shooting. We are so happy with our images and look forward to a lifetime of sharing these memories with friends and family. We highly recommend Thor and Anastasia!

Thor Swift did an amazing job with our wedding. He and his wife Anastasia made us entirely comfortable, and captured a great range of shots throughout the day. It was easy to relax around them, and the photos are incredible, and were ready for us just weeks after the wedding. Overall, 5 stars.

My husband and I just finished our wedding album and have absolutely loved re-visiting our photos! Thankfully, Thor has an excellent eye and knows just how to frame a shot....his work "wowed" us. He is thorough, easy to work with, speedy but not rushed, and really pays attention to the details. In addition to taking and providing us with photos that we love, he was consistently nice, professional, and communicative, which was so important since any wedding is a little emotional and stressful. The quality of photos and albums is excellent and he genuinely cares that you get what you want. We couldn't recommend Thor more highly!

We loved Thor!!!!!!!!!! He is very talented and easy to work with. The photographs came out wonderful. He was so relaxed and organized which put our minds at ease for our special day.

Thor and his wife, Anastasia not only provided us with wonderful photos, but were a joy to work with leading up to the wedding and on the special day. They were calm, cool and collected which is EXTREMELY important on such a stressful day! Highly recommend!

Thor was wonderful! Our pictures are a clear representaion of the wonderful time had by all on our wedding day. I really appreciate that he documented things I wouldn't have thought of - candid shots of guests and of us, shots of my dress and bouquet, favors, programs, set tables, etc. Most importantly, he and Anastasia seemed to capture a lot of great moments of our guests talking with one another and with us - we have so many pictures of us posing with family and freinds in natural ways, which shows Thor and Anastasia were really paying attention. In no way were they intrusive, but showed up just at the right moments to document the entire celebration. The pictures are gorgeous, and and not a moment was missed. Highly recommended!

Thor and his staff were extremely professional and fun to work with. They were patient with my uber long list of family and wedding party photos, and they even got the few that I forgot to put on my wish list. Their photos of the "before" captured the fun that us ladies had while getting ready together, something I didn't quite think would turn out with being a nervous bride - they simply paid attention and caught probably every smile I gave in those nervous hours! They got a variety of wedding guest photos as well, which completed the day for our memory book!
Their correspondence while planning was prompt and efficient. After our day was over, we got our photos in a very timely manner, and they were simply beautiful!

Thor was amazing to work with! He was honest, genuine, accomodating and patient.

Prior to our wedding, he answered all questions, even the silly ones, and encouraged us to bring our dogs, who are a big part of our lives, along for the engagement session.

On the day of our wedding, Thor and Anastasia got straight to work snapping photos of everything: getting dressed, putting on make-up/hair, church, reception site, etc. The best part of this experience was that even though Thor was with us for about 8 hours, you didn't know it. He almost faded into the background capturing every perfect moment until the end of the evening.

After the wedding, we did not order our prints immediately. It took us 2 years to choose pictures. Through out this entire process, Thor reassured us that we were under no time constraints and to take as long as we needed. He never made us feel rushed or pressured.

Overalll, Thor was great to work with! I would recommend him to any bride who wants to work with a true professional.

My husband and I cannot begin to say how wonderful it was to work with Thor! He was very easy going and flexible, but more importantly, he's a fantastic photographer with a great vision and eye for detail. While we were going through the planning process, we knew that we wanted our pictures to tell a story and for them to capture moments of our special day - Thor far exceeded our expectations. On top of all of this, he was a pleasure to work with and our guests raved about him and his professionalism. It's been 2 years since our wedding and we still email Thor asking for help of selecting certain photos to enlarge. He was a tremendous help when it came time to work on our photo album. It's overwhelming trying to select pictures when they are all beautiful but Thor was a great help and we love our album! We are very grateful to have had him as our photographer and to this day, he is by far, our favorite vendor to have worked with!

Thor was a great wedding photographer, he was able to capture every amazing moment of our wedding day. It was a pleasure to work with him and his wife, they both really did a great job. After everyone saw our pictures we referred two friends for their weddings.

Very nice to work with and helpful in the planning process. He was easy going and kept us comfortable. I felt like we got lots of posed shots, but still had most of the night to enjoy the wedding. He and his wife worked very hard all night capturing pictures. I haven't seen any yet, but I hope they are great. They were definitely a pleasure to work with.
I will add more after I see the pictures, I only gave 4 stars because I do not know the final product yet!

We were initially interested because my husband liked the sound of Thor's name. He thought Thor would be a real tough guy and show up with an ax. MEN ARE IDIOTS. Despite this, I still decided to marry one. Anyways, Thor turned out to be a really awesome photographer (sans ax). The pictures were really beautiful and he was really fun to work with. We had a really great rapport with him and he really knew how to direct us and get us to smile and take fun and natural photographs. Thor also works with his wife, Anastasia and she was very sweet as well.
