Thread & Film

Thread and Film created one of our most memorable moments of our engagement, right next to the proposal. We began filming on a spontaneous winter day by reliving some of the key moments of our engagement. The creativity and perfection that went into the Save-The-Date short film was more than we could have asked for. Mikey and I had a blast with Sam during the filming process. Smiles and laughter filled each scene. I would say our second favorite part, right next to getting to skate on the ice skating rink just the two of us, was the editing process with Sam. We sat with him and we were able to give feedback and see the end result approaching. With the Save-The-Date film we were able express to our friends and family who we are as a couple and the love that we share. The short film is also nice for those that haven’t meet one of us to be introduced and see why we are getting married. Mikey and I are so grateful for this unique experience. We both believe in the work Thread and Film produces and are so happy to call them our friends.

Sam Gensic, from Thread & Film, by far made our wedding day exceptionally amazing and wonderful! My husband and I were unsure if we were even going to hire a cinemetographer for our wedding. When we finally made the decision to start looking around, a family friend referred us to Sam Gensic. We met in the Spring (before our July wedding) and we were sold immediately! We knew that Sam was passionate about his work and he would be the perfect person to capture our special day. Our wedding came and Thread and Film was there for every moment! From the pre-ceremony to the ceremony to the reception, we felt comforted that the memories from our day (being captured on film) were in Sam's hands. We anxiously awaited our edit session and Thread & Film by far exceeded our expectations. We had a smile from ear to ear while watching our DVD for the first time. With each showing of the DVD to our family and friends, the smile always remains. We also love having the mobile device version of our DVD to watch anytime we want from our iPod touch . We can't express enough how much we appreciate Thread & Film for their hard work on and after our wedding day. If we could do it over again, we would have Thread & Film be a part of our wedding day without question. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! to Thread & Film for being there for every moment of our special day from our "moment" before the ceremony, the giggles (of complete happiness) during the ceremony, the dancing and fun of the reception, and for creating such an amazing keepsake that we will have forever!
