Three Three Three First Avenue

My husband and I picked Three Three Three because we wanted something that was a little different. (In other words, no ballrooms or a country club.) It's great for couples who want to work with a blank canvas - but work then becomes the operative word. Because of the high loft ceilings and industrial materials in the space, it takes a lot of care and details to make it feel more appropriate for a wedding. I ended up throwing out a lot of ideas I'd had at the last minute because I didn't want to spend extra money (like patio stringed lights, candles for the window sills, or throw pillows for the lounge chairs) or deal with the extra stress (creating personlized signs for tables, stations, etc). In hindsight, I should have done those things because the details make an enormous difference in that space. If you have a wedding planner before the big day, however, it's all pretty easy to delegate.

Three Three Three is also a little bit more work because you have to rent everything (tables, chairs, china, linens, etc.) on top of bringing in outside alcohol. Catering companies can usually order all of the rentals, and can also provide bar tenders and mixers and whatnot. But, if you have a wedding planner, this isn't really a hassle. If you don't have a wedding planner, just be ready to do a little bit more work. Not hiring wedding planner on the day, however, is almost not an option. You have to have someone there running the ship.

I think the venue is a little overpriced, especially given that they don't provide anything. (This is a competitive advantage of hotels and clubs in Dallas - the room fees can usually be applied to food or additional rentals.) That being said, there are few venues in Dallas that offer the same atmosphere - which is modern and vintage, contemporary and rustic at the same time. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably still chose this venue, but I would put in the extra effort in the last leg of the planning process.

We LOVE the space at 333! It's an amazing venue that can be set up with so many different options. The staff is great to work with and makes the entire experience easy and hassle free.

Three Three Three is such a unique venue and one of our favorites in DFW. It lends itself to so many different opportunities in terms of design and style and the staff is great to work with!
