The first time we met Keri, the owner, we were set on using her as a caterer. She was really willing to work with our budget, and she was really responsive throughout the whole planning process. Her years of experience set her apart from the other caterers we interviewed, and she really gave us the feeling that she would ensure the reception would run smoothly.

Our instincts were right! Keri and her team were amazing on the day of our wedding- really professional and well organised. The food was amazing. Our guests loved it! Her team were really calm throughout the reception which helped set the calm mood in our reception.

I would definitely recommend using her to all my friends!

Very responsive to all questions, concerns, and requests. Provided a initial tasting before booking which definitely helped me to make the decision to hire them.

The only negative thing were the amount of leaflets and flyers they scattered around the food tables - I understand it's a business but it's also a wedding not a trade show.

My husband and I (as well as many family members) have very serious food allergies including soy and gluten (wheat). The food prepared for us was amazing and tasted NORMAL! Even the people without food allergies haven't stopped raving about how great the food was!
The day of the wedding Kerri was like our best friend. She took care of everything I could have ever wanted and went above and beyond what anyone could ever ask of a caterer! I would recommend Tidewater Catering to EVERYONE but especially to those with food allergies who are concerned about having GREAT food at their event.

Keri and her staff were the best. I truley can't imagine our day without her. The transition from ceramony to reception was seamless and i did not even know it was happening. The food was amazing and the service the same. They traveled 1 1/2 hours aways and I would recomend Tidewater for everyones occasion.

We hired them to cater the rehearsal dinner and the wedding. The food was great, I believe the service was great as well. We missed out on the h'or d'oeuvres and wished they had saved us some, but I heard everything was good :(
The plates and china were better then I remembered, square and pretty. I am not sure if they got new ones since the tasting or not but I was happy.
They thought they had to add $2 pp for the lobster because of red tide but right before the wedding I asked Cindy and she said that they didn't, so that was also nice.
Cyndee at Tidewater is great. Very flexible and easygoing.
There were 2 misunderstandings about the bar. The rehearsal we wanted full open bar, but when we got there it was set up for beer wine and signature drinks. I think Justin's dad might have confused them but they set up the liquor right away after we told them we wanted full bar and it was fine.
And the day of the wedding they wanted to shut the bar down early b/c of a couple guests. I am not really sure of the details but Justin talked to the owner and everything got smoothed out and the booze was finished at the regular decided time.
I recommend them. The food was awesome. The bartenders seemed to be able to keep up with our drinking crowd.

Tidewater really came through for us! We decided not to use our venue for our catering since we felt we weren't getting enough for our money. With our limited budget we were able to have so many options for our guests! The food (although I didn't really eat any, so I've heard) was excellent. The staff was attentive and professional and brought the wedding paty champagne and hors d'eouvres during pictures. The vegetable martinis were a hit! They were the best!
