Wow what a great experience with ting make up team! She is very professional and dedicated. I am so happy with my makeup and hairdo and i received so many compliments from friends and relatives!

I found TING Makeup & Hair from a wedding photographer's website and immediately, I fell in love with her work and was amazed by how great her works turned out in everyone's photo with no exception. I called her the same day and showed her the look I like, she then recommended of what will look the best on me and on photo. She further explained the process and reassured me with her plan and even with the products she used are high end quality brands. I decided to book her the same day, knowing that Im in a good hand.

We exchange emails, texts and phones several times and each time she responded quickly, even answered some questions before I even ask. One month before my wedding, she asked me to send the bridal party's photos so she can plan their styles and two weeks before, she already has the timeline on my wedding day, corresponding with each bridal party along with her assistants with time slot, so we know exactly what to expect.

On my wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone looks amazing even with my mother and MIL who are a little hard to please. My hair and makeup looks fantastic even last till the very end of the night without feeling oily. The compliments didn't stop coming throughout the day even after that one of my friend wants to book Ting for her own wedding.

Her attention to details, super organized and extremely professional skills really set her apart from other makeup artists. She loves what she does and how she went above and beyond from beginning to end was something I really appreciated. Being an out of town bride with limited time and resource in LA to have Ting as my makeup artist was hassle free, but pleasure to work with. Even with some referrals she gave me that I hire for my wedding were all top-notch services. I absolutely LOVED my makeup and hair and so does everyone else on my bridal party. Highly Recommended! I want to share my excellent experience working with her.
I was asked to be one of her student’s models for Ting Makeup & Hair’s bridal class session in July 2012. After visiting her class, I found myself interested in learning makeup as well. She was very sweet and easy to communicate with. Ting offered me a private class since I had busy schedule for work and school and cannot join the group class. Ting accommodated my schedule and I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot through her lessons. She is really organized and no doubt about her profession when I looked at her works. I could feel her passion for her work and was happy she could share that with me. Ting even tells me that whenever I have question or concern, she will be happy to help. At the end of the class, what I found it surprisingly was that I did not only learn how to apply makeup on me but also learn to know about myself. I became more confident than before. I think feeling confidence is very important especially for people who become bride-to-be. I really thank Ting for the lesson and definitely will recommend to everybody when they need a makeup artist for their special occasion ☺

I am the kind of bride will do a lot of research for the wedding, see many samples and pictures from different vendors and compare. To me, make-up artist and photographer are the 2 most important people in the wedding. At the end of wedding, all we have left are photos and memory. We MUST look Beautiful!!!
I can say that i fell in love with Ting's make-up on the first sight. But I still did more research on different make-up artists (just in case :P ) but none of them gave me that natural, and gorgeous feeling that Ting can give me. I hate those old school heavy make-up and make your face look fake with inch thick of foundation. But with Ting's techique and high quality cosmetic product (she doesn't use any cheap stuff, LOL) , my face feels light, but hide all my flaw, make me feel like a real pretty princess. Ting, herself is a very trendy person, so she designed some elegant but fashionable hairstyle to match each of my dresses. Love each one of them.
On my weding, the team is extremely professional. They all got to my house before 6am in the morning. Everything goes super smoothly. was afraid of any extra stress on the wedding day. And Ting did a wonderful to go through my schedule with me and we did a trial session. That really helped a lot.

Decided to have Ting as my wedding day makeup artist was the best decision I have made throughout my wedding planning. She was such an easy going and caring person. Whenever I reached out to her with inquiries or questions, she responded very quickly with all the information I needed. The first time I met Ting in person was the day of my makeup trial session. Even though we just met, but I felt like we have known each other for a long time. She was so easy and fun to talk to and very knowledgeable on makeup. I picked some hairstyle photos that I liked before going to my makeup trial session. Ting advised me on the hairstyle that goes well with my personality and wedding theme. I am glad I listened to her! I got so many compliments. Our makeup trial session was like an afternoon tea party. We had a great time chatting about weddings, makeup, accessories, and everything related to weddings. Ting also advised me on the accessories that I could use on my big day! She really has good tastes and I was confident that I would be in good hands having Ting and her team to help me on my wedding day. One thing I love Ting the most is that she treats you like her friend instead of a client. She really tried to get to know me and perform her work based on that. When I browsed Ting’s portfolio, all the brides looked stunning and more importantly, their makeup and hair revealed the best of them. On the wedding day, even though she had a prior appointment with another bride, she and her team arrived on time. Ting’s team was very professional and organized. My bridesmaids also enjoyed working with them. They did an awesome job on all of us! I couldn’t be happier with their work! My bridesmaid already told me she will definitely want to have Ting does her makeup on her big day! Ting, thank you so much for the wonderful work you and your team did! My husband and I were very fortunate to have Ting as our make-up stylist for our LA engagement session as well as our wedding reception, which took place in Laguna Beach. Ting is such a loving, creative, talented, and easy-going person to work with. Before even meeting with her, we exchanged countless emails across two continents (since I currently live in Taiwan) discussing ideas and styles we want to incorporate into our photo shoot. She shared many great inspirations and previous work that she has done, which all of them were very useful.
During the trial session, Ting showed me many possible hairstyles and accessary choices that I wish I could have them all! For our daylong engagement session around Orange County, Ting was at my side every step of the way making sure my hair and make-up were perfect for the camera. She’s also fully prepared with all her tools and accessary collections. Ting showed 100% efficiency and professionalism during the shoot, and with her help, our photos came out beyond our imagination!
On our wedding day, thanks to Ting, I completely felt like a princess. With her delicate make-up and lovely hair style, being her bride was truly a lucky experience. Working with Ting was pleasant, fun, and satisfying. I am grateful for what she’s done to make my engagement session and wedding day so memorable and amazing.

I had booked Ting to do my makeup for my wedding in July of 2012. I liked Ting from the very first correspondence email with her. She responded quickly and thoroughly and often answered questions I haven't even asked yet. Ting is super sweet and is very passionate with what she does. She's very organized and even sent me a timeline broken down to when everyone in my party gets their hair and make up done on the day of. I really appreciated that because that reassured me that she won't run late and knows how to manage her time well. I had asked her to do a more natural look and she did just that. I still looked like myself, but just a more polished version of me and I loved it. I didn't give much direction to Ting regarding how I wanted my bridesmaids hair to look, but Ting and her assistant did a beautiful job. My flower girl couldn't stop smiling after Ting put her hair up in the most adorable messy-ballerina-bun to match her tulle flower girl dress. Thanks to Ting and her assistant, my bridal party all looked amazing!!

Ting and her team are incredibly professional and attentive. Not only
are they excellent at their job they are the sweetest people you'll
meet. Ting took her time during my trial and was so patient with me
even though I had changed my mind about the look numerous times. She
was thoughtful and gave me lots of good suggestions. Her makeup work
is impeccable. She even has great accessories for you to borrow! On a
special day like my wedding I couldn't have asked for a better team of
girls on my side. I felt absolutely beautiful and its all thanks to
