For our Friday night wedding, the price is right. TKO is exceptionally professional. Loved working with them.

We wanted something real special so we gave TKO DJ's the chance to handle our wedding reception music. They really put on a party that was unforgettable. The had a real nice DJ who really put on a show for us and the music list was really good to. We are glad we used them and they made us real happy with the services they provided for our wedding. They were more than DJ's as they put the extra effort out to insure our wedding reception party would go really well and it did.

They are great to work with and the people help out and are very accomodating. Have not performed yet but will let you know, so far so good.

Wonderful! Our DJ was dressed nicely, behaved professionally, very friendly. This company let me choose every single song that was played, and even let me control the number of slow songs vs. fast songs. The DJ checked in with me throughout the night just to make sure I was pleased with how everything was going. TKO was a preferred vendor for a reception site, so I got a 10% discount, but even if I hadn't, they are still very affordable and well worth the price. My contact person, Melanie, was great and very good about staying in touch with me thoughout the planning process. I would definitely recommend this company!

Great DJs!! Everyone was dancing all night!

Our DJ was great! He took our song suggestions and ran with it! Our guests were dancing all night. AND when my friends tried to play the songs I hate the most to get a laugh out of me, he obeyed my wishes and wouldn't play them!

Our DJ was very professional and got everyone out on the floor dancing. He was very fun to work with.

Awesome experience! Our DJ was prepared and professional! He stuck to our playlist and guest requests they even found the few special songs that we wanted played that were not already in thier library of music. Our dance floor was packed all night long and even my grandma got out there and danced. No regrets here please check them out!!

A friend used TKO for her wedding, and came highly recommended. We decided to also use them, and had a flawless experience. Booking them was easy, as was our meeting to finalize details. When I inquired about a possible last-minute request, they handled it with ease and professionalism. Our DJ for the evening was very nice, and he followed our preferences to the letter. Highly recommended!

TKO definitely provided us with a fantastic DJ for our reception. They were one of the best prices we found in St. Louis and were definitely very professional. A week or so before the wedding I was contacted and we went over the timeline for the reception. The DJ did an excellent job trying to keep us on track and fit everything in. He played music that was enjoyed by all and fit in all of the special requests that I had made. He even got up and danced with everyone to keep the crowd involved. Definitely worth the money!!

EXCELLENT! I was so impressed with our DJ. He kept me on time and organized for everything. He was proactive asbout asking when to do things and if we wanted announcements, etc. He was great. Melanie did a great job or organizing our playlists and helping us find the right music for entrances and exits (they did our ceremony as well as our reception). They also helped find instrumental music for our vocalist. I highly reccommed TKO DJs!

Marlon, our DJ, was an absolute pleasure to work with! He kept everyone dancing, played more modern music, and was super fun. We received so many compliments from our guests on the music throughout the night, and even since the wedding.

Of all of the vendors that we used for our wedding and reception, only one, TKO DJs, was truly amazing. Melanie, the office planner at TKO and Chris, our DJ exceeded our expectations on every level and made our wedding better than any I have been at. Now that the day is behind us, it is clear to me that the choice of DJ is the most important decision in the planning process. Make sure you are as happy as we are and make sure you strongly consider TKO DJs!

TKO Dj was great to work with. They ensured our dance floor was full all night long! Melanie was very helpful with our music and played many different song samples to make sure we were happy with each of our selections during the planning period. Matt was very energetic and kept with the vibe we wanted for the night....he played many songs off our must play list but incorporated other song selections that kept the party going! He even made a special, shortened version of a Pink Floyd at my dad's request for our father/daughter dance. :)

Gave us exactly what we wanted. Nice and quite during dinner, then the party started everyone had a blast. We would hire them again.

TKO DJ's were great!! I loved my DJ. He was kind, respected my taste of music, and kept all my guests happy!!! They will work with you, no matter what music, or what kind of attitude you want in a DJ. They had done all my high school dances, so when I heard they did weddings too, it was great!!

TKO isn't the cheapest but saving on the DJ isn't the place to do it! Everyone remebers the music and if they were having a good time or not! Our DJ was awesome, he did exactly what we wanted him to do and got the party started! We had a lot of dances planned, but at last minute (during the reception) decided to cut out one of them, and he just picked right up and kept going. We also had a slide show playing, but we couldn't get it working, and the DJ took care of it and entertained while we got it going! Awesome job and great party! Don't skimp on the DJ! Spend the extra bucks and get TKO!

We had a great experience with TKO DJs. They made some great suggestions and helped us plan everything out. You also get to see the entire music list, so you can completely customize your reception music. They also help you put together a timeline for the reception and coordinate with your photographer and videographer to make sure everything stays on track and to keep everything moving.The only disappointments I had were that they were supposed to announce two birthdays during dinner and play "Birthday" by the Beatles. This ended up happening later in the night. Our DJ also played one of the songs on our Do Not Play List and not all of the songs on our must play list were played. Everyone loved the music though and these were minor details that only I really noticed and were not a big deal, but if you're extremely picky about your music you may want to be very clear about your lists.

Very prompt correspondence and at the reception. The DJ was just as we requested, present enough to keep the party going, but not talking between every song. He had the guest dancing and made wonderful song selections based off of our interest. It went wonderfully.Highly recommend them. The price was about the same as other DJ's, a little higher, but they gave me a discount for booking at the bridal show that made them the same price! Great and reliable.

Our DJ was very professional, providing the right amount of support without seeming overbearing. He kept the party moving and ran things so smoothly, we had nothing to worry about all night!

Our guests all commented on how much they loved the music. We basically created a playlist for the DJ because we knew our guests and what they would like and because we didn't want to hear the same donky wedding music that has become standard and cheesy to us. They were a little reluctant to do that because that can often lead to you hearing what you want and no one else liking it and no one else dancing but it worked out really well for us. The DJ mixed things up well and kept to the playlist while switching fast to slow, well-known to not, etc. The sound quality was good - not too loud and not too soft - and lights were a nice added effect to not have to pay extra for. Only problem was never meeting actual DJ before event so he had to go over a couple things with us at a bad time right before announcing us into the reception.

TKO was great! Our DJ Landon was great for the reception, listened to our picky requests, and kept the night flowing. Everyone in the office is also so nice and professional.

I have known the business of TKO for several years. We have family friends that worked there. I knew we were going to go with TKO before we set a date. We used them for my older brother's wedding 4 years before my wedding. The DJs are professionally dressed in tuxes, and will get the crowd going if you desire for them to do that. They let you set the settings of the evening. They come find you to ask about the next item on the list that you requested.I definiately will recommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased with TKO. Our only issue was that a lot of the requested songs were played during the dollar dance so the people who had requested them, couldnt exactly dance to them.

Very professional. Put together a great playlist and kept eveyone entertained.

The management is great but our dj was ok. He had a technical failure during the reception and played some poor choices (Beauty & the Beast) that were not on our play list or even close to other songs we selected. If you are not a music buff you may be o.k. but if you love music like we do you may want to choose another d.j.

TKO DJ’s provided us a premium quality service at a very decent price. The DJ was very professional and promptly came a little bit early and got set right up and ready to go. He provided some decent music and all my guests did really enjoy all of the music that the DJ played. They were good to do business with as they were not pushy for us to use their service they were very detailed in what they did and made sure that we knew ahead of time what all they did so there was no misunderstandings.

I feel as though I should be writing two different reviews: one for the owner Matthew and our particular DJ Donald, and the other for the staff who run the place day to day.To begin with, we wanted very specific genres of music played at our event, and because most of it isn't widely available, we provided ALL the music ourselves. All they had to do was mix the songs, and play them. Sounds easy enough, right?We started meeting with them months before the wedding. The staff, and the original DJ assigned to us, seemed on board. They would listen to the music WE provided, mix them, and we'd have a subsequent meeting. But several months afterwards, it turned out they'd done none of the work. Long story short, we threatened to cancel our contract.And then the owner, Matthew, stepped in. He apologized profusely, and told us he'd do anything to retain our business. He even went as offering to absorb the cost of us flying in OUR OWN DJ from back home. He then called up our eventual DJ Donald, whom we first met with one week prior to our wedding. Donald went out of his way to meet with us several times that week, and did everything he could to make sure he was providing us EXACTLY what we wanted. In the end, our wedding was wonderful, thanks to Matthew and Donald.

Overall, we would recommend TKOs for a DJ service. They employ so many DJs that you can really get what you want for your reception. We were so afraid of having a DJ that would overpower the reception. After a meeting with TFO, we were assured this would not be the case. Our DJ was wonderful. He did just as we asked and played the variety of music we wanted to get our guests dancing. He even announced the score of the MU/KU game when requested by the bride or groom. The challenges with TKO was trying to set up a meeting. They were challenging to get ahold of and rather than coming to us on the dates they said they would, we had to contact them to set up the appropriate meetings. We booked late, so that might have had something to do with it, but it was frustrating having to remind TKOs that they were supposed to be contacting us.

Overall, everything went well. They didn't play anything on our "DO NOT PLAY" list

They DJ service was a requirement of our reception site and they did an okay job. Our DJ played the standard wedding songs, but did not want to take requests or play outside of his "comfort area". Not impressive, but not horrible.

As a DJ, TKO did a great job. As a WEDDING SERVICE provider, not pleased AT ALL. I am still heartbroken about the fact that they TOTALLY missed our cake cutting song. The song was one we couldn't decide if it should be our first dance or not, so obviously it was INCREDIBLY important that it be played at our cake cutting. Nope, he played "Irresistible." I immediately ran over to him, after we were done, and he said there wasn't anything written down for that. WTF? First of all, then THEY forgot to grab it, because I definitely emailed Chris about the song, and how important it was.and, um... THEN ASK ME WHEN YOU GET THERE - "Hey, there's nothing here about a cake cutting song... any suggestions?" How careless, with such an important day. We also had requested they play a song that my husband and his friends all love, they get together and sing it together every time it comes on. Hubs went to request it and the guy said he didn't have it. A)Holy ball drop, and B)Frankly, that's BS. It'(wa)s 2011. There is NO REASON, in this day and age, that a DJ company shouldn't have wireless access and be able to download a song on demand. He did do a great job keeping the party jumping, so I definitely can't complain about that.

Everything was really fantastic and we had an amazing time. Our guests enjoyed the dancing so much that we extended the night an extra hour. We thought the DJ did an excellent job and definitely exceeded our expectations. Thanks for helping to make the night perfect!

We were very impressed with our DJ. He had the perfect demeanor and was able to keep thing running along smoothly without stealing the spotlight or making himself the center of attention. We especially appreciated that he was able to adjust the schedule as certain parts went long and that he always searched out me or the bride to prepare for the special events (e.g. first dance, bouquet toss, et.c) so that nothing took us by surprise. We could not have been happier with our DJ & would highly recommend TKO DJs!

I would not have changed a single thing about the DJ performance. Ricky did a WONDERFUL job! He chose music that people of all ages (from the 3 yr. olds to our uncles in their 60's) enjoyed. Our DJ did an excellent job. The music came from our selections - flowed well and wasn't too loud. We asked for a quiet DJ - and he was very polite & professional. Always asked our permission for any odd requests (the Electric Slide). I felt that the DJ helped give our reception the elegant & classic feel that we were going for.
