Toni created a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for my daughter. Our guests raved about the quality of the white butter cake with custard and fresh strawberries. The cake was decorated with a lovely scroll design that complimented the lace of my daughter's gown and a fondant ribbon that matched the bridesmaids' dresses. Their attention to detail and service was outstanding.

Our wedding cake from Toni's in Hinsdale was awesome! First, the tasting was a blast - they were very helpful with ideas and options. We ended up doing two different kinds so we could get both chocolate and vanilla cakes. The cake was beautiful, and most importantly, delicious! I'm just sad I didn't have time to eat more of it.. I'd definitely recommend Toni's cake for any wedding in the Chicagoland area. Just make sure your party saves you a slice!

I didn't want a wedding cake at my wedding, but I did want an elaborate sweets table full of delicious desserts! Working with Toni was a pleasure. She makes the most delicious sweets and also has an eye for putting together a table that just looks beautiful. We had an amazing display of macaroon trees, mini cupcakes, personalized cookies, cake pops, and brownie bites. She put everything together in a way that coordinated with our feel and theme and also made it exactly how I envisioned. Toni is not only an incredibly sweet person, but very talented.

I actually used Toni for both my wedding and groomsman cakes. THey did such a fabulous job on both! I did a sculpted 3D cake of our dog for the groomsman cake that blew my now husband away! He was so surprised it was SO perfect! =) And our wedding cake could not have been more perfect as far as the style/decor that we designed. Our only complaint was that it was a little dry or at least the pieces we got were - but the rest of our guests had no complaints =) so we think we just got unlucky. Thank you guys for such beautiful cakes!

A European style patisserie in downtown Hinsdale, Toni opened in 1994 after owner Toni Marie Cox, a pastry chef who perfected her craft as executive pastry chef at Chicago's Mayfair Regent Hotel and Ciel Bleu, returned from a three-year tour of bakery duty in France.
FAQ for Toni
You can definitely choose a design from our website for your cake! You will need to choose the cake and filling flavors, and the size of your cake based on the amount of people you would like to serve. You can change the design to make it more custom for your event as well, by changing the colors, or adding/subtracting to the design. We also have a much larger variety of designs in our albums at the store.
Can I taste some of your treats without buying a whole cake?
Our Hinsdale shop is open to the public seven days a week! We offer breakfast pastries, savory lunch options, cookies, dessert pastries and small cakes available for purchase every day. If you want to taste cake samples, however, you need to set up a consultation so we create the flavors you are looking for.
Are you the same as Toni Marie's Sweets & Savories?
Yes, we are in the process of changing our name, but we still have all the same great "sweets and savories" you've grown accustomed to with Toni Marie's.
Do you provide Sweet Table options as well as Wedding Cakes?
Absolutely! We have a large variety of mini pastries, cookies, and even cake slices that all serve as excellent sweet table options. Chocolate covered strawberries, petit fours, and fruit tarts make delicious and colorful options. We sell all items daily, and have seasonal options available based on the wedding date.
What if I want cupcakes instead of a wedding cake?
We make wedding cupcakes! Multiple flavors are available for our cupcakes and frostings. We can fill them with our signature White Chocolate Mousse, European Raspberry Preserves, and other delicious options as well. We can decorate them however you like, and provide and set-up the cupcakes on stands based on how you would like to present them.
Do you make Wedding Favors?
We create many delicious wedding favors, including bagged cookies in all shapes and sizes, packaged petit fours and truffles to name a few. All are custom made, and can be personalized with your colors, initials, names or wedding date. We open to other ideas that are brought to us as well.
