Tosca Marquee

We had a very small intimate wedding with the ceremony included at Tosca. Everything was exactly what I had imagined. They really are super helpful and nice. Every little detail was taken care of we had one little mishap with the tables but it was easily fixed before the crowd walked in. My guest loved the food and so did we it was great.
I appreciate the staff especially Emir for making sure everything was on point and was perfect. They were very easy going and made sure all my questions were answered. If you are looking for a beautiful, modern, and intimate place for a small wedding this is the place. It is also not over priced, and we felt we got great service

I was relatively happy with my service at Tosca Marquee. Initially I was excited and pleased with my choice after reading so many positive reviews and I looked forward to using them as my venue. My food tasting was absolutely delicious and well put together. In fact everything was going great until I made my final payment and then it seemed like the catering manager wasn't as responsive as he was previously and we had a disagreement on an issue about the reception, however, on my wedding day the catering managers and staff were professional and efficient, the food was great and everyone was happy and that's all that mattered to me. I would use Tosca again.

Over all it was great time. I started making the arrangements w Emir but ended up just talking to Robert. Both were very helpful. Robert made sure to give me a layout of what the room would look like and what went where. Their staff was very good and looked out for everyone that night. I will have to mention Julie she was assigned to the wedding party, which included my daughter (6), niece(8) and nephew(10). She made sure they were taken care of, which gave me time to have fun. She also made sure that once we arrived we had something to eat, bc we were starving. She also kept the drinks coming; may they have been wine, water or mixed drinks. I have to thanks her from the bottom of my heart :). I was told the night was a great success which in my circle is great.
With the good there is always a bit of bad. My guest did mention that they almost did not get cake. I am not sure why I am sure w everyone moving around they might have thought they put a piece for them.
Julie was also nice enough to give us all three options as far as the meal. Chicken, steak and salmon. I will say the Steak great, fish very good, chicken not so much. I asked other people what they thought and they said the same thing.
Over all it was a great choice in the Bronx or NY as a matter of fact. We had ppl from Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Long Island and Florida.

The whole place was fabulous and the food was excellent

I was very happy with the responsivness and flexibility of the staff .However , I was not happy that the cake to be served to the guest was not distrubute - instead the dummie cake was cut up ...

Also there was complaint from our guests , who chose soup as part of their meal said there was no spoon on the table . Other than those two compliants - everything else was okay .....

I was scheduled to have my wedding at Tosca Marquee on 6/11/2011. At the time, I was working with a banquet manager named Kate. She was a joy to work with. Kate ended up leaving the company and then I began working with Melissa. Melissa was very professional but not very warm. I was delighted when I found Tosca Marquee because the food was fantastic and you could rent the entire space for your wedding. The location had a outdoor rooftop deck for cocktail hour and then the formal banquet room for dinner with a loft/lounge adjoining area. It was the perfect combination of an urban/romantic wedding setting. Unfortunately, two weeks before the wedding my father passed away suddenly and I was forced to cancel the wedding. As all brides know, the reception is half of the wedding cost. I worked with Melissa to cancel the contract but given the proximity to the event date I had to pay a large percentage of the cost. I understood this and don't have concerns with this since they have a business to run. What I'm more disappointed about it is that Tosca wouldn't work with me to help accommodate me for a future date. I had just lost a ton of money and I wanted some flexibility on the future date. I was more than happy to spend just as much as before as long as they worked with me. I was told that unfortunately they couldn't accommodate me since they had been hit with the loss of my cancelled wedding on 6/11/11 and giving me a discount on the future date would represent yet another loss on a date. I was extremely disappointed with their lack of flexibility and understanding with my situation. My other vendors did not react the same way and I ended up using all of the same vendors except the Reception Venue and DJ for my rescheduled wedding date on April 20, 2012. Brides be cautious if you book Tosca. I recommend having wedding insurance and reading the fine print of your cancellation clause. I personally will never book Tosca for any future events. They not only loss my wedding business but also the business that they could have gained from future parties and recommendations to friends.

Guests could not stop raving about the food, the venue and the beauty of the reception - which in the end, that's all that matters. Scott, the chef was attentive during our tasting and he even came out and checked on us during the reception... Our dance floor was packed and there was plenty of room for all the guests to enjoy the bar, the couches and the dance floor during the reception.

Tosca Marquee is affordable, classy and an elegant venue for wedding receptions - especially those not looking to spend their life savings. We could have used a little more responsiveness/communication and the feeling that they went "above and beyond" was not there.... Overall, it was a great time for all those involved.

Me, my husband and the rest of muy guest, felt very well treated that they. We were always asked if they can do something else, in my language! (Spanish). I loves the personal treatment of the Chef, he help me find the best food for the my special guest, even had consideration those who were allergic to sea food, doing other kind of food only for them!!! I loved that. They even helped us with the decoration!!!
Simply, considering the price, it was the more than i never thought it could be.
They made a difference in my day. I really appreciate that.

Tosca Marquee did a very nice job with my wedding. The venue is beautiful and has a unique urban vibe. It was perfect for our wedding. They are also one of the few venues that would accommodate our intimate wedding with no problem.

However, there were times when it was very difficult to get a hold of a manager. I was told they would call me back, and yet I had to call them to get a response. Unfortunately, the manager who we originally booked with left before the wedding. One of the other managers who we dealt with is a very unpleasant woman.

The chef on the other hand is amazing. I loved the food and I hope that someone we know will have an event at Tosca Marquee.

Tosca Marquee is a beautiful venue for your wedding reception! The staff is very attentive and responsive. The food was absolutely amazing. The chef came out to meet us and ask how everything was during dinner. If you are looking for an amazing place for your wedding reception in the Bronx then look no further than Tosca Marquee.

I liked the quantity and taste of the food served.

We found that when we needed to make any adjustments concerning our wedding theirs was always someone to respond to our concerns right away. We also appreciated their professionalism as well and there ideas. Even up until the last few days before the weeding, they were willing to be flexible and proceed with our wishes and that meant alot to me and my husband because there was still much to do. We enjoyed having our wedding and reception here. It was all worth it. Also the FOOD was DELICIOUS!! All our guest and Family LOVED the Food and the freshness of it all. The Chef was Wonderful and also a Nice guy as well.

Had an evening wedding. We wanted the rooftop but took the manager's advice when they said the roof would be too crowded. Glad I listened they know what they are talking about. Roof is good for about 100 people, maybe. The red carpet and outdoor lighting are a nice touch. Valet available. Reasonable and fair price, especially considering the marina Del Ray is right down the block. The food was amazing and fresh and abundant. best fried calamar I ever had. So light and crispy and not rubbery. Very fresh. Pasta is always cooked properly even for buffet, never over or undercooked. Bravo to the chef.

The catering manager is always present for the event and was there when we had concerns and questions. Will definitely go back for future events because The Young Man manager is so professional and dresses the part. Thank goodness melissa no longer is for banquets. We dealt with her first and she was very difficult to get a straight answer and nickel and dimed us for everything, and the new manager is very kind and is also helpful in putting the party together and puttring music together. Definitely recommend.

My wedding reception was held at the Tosca Marquee in the Bronx. I couldn't have asked for better service and the food was perfect.
