Christa and her team are amazing! If you are looking for beautiful hair and make-up done right on location, this is the place to go. I had a rather large bridal party all at my house, and all of the girls hair and make-up were wonderful. The airbrush make-up that Christa did was flawless and I love all of the modern hair styles myself and my girls had. They also do microdermabrasion and facials at their office in Lombard - i treated myself and my fiance for some facial services to help us look our best on our wedding day. I would totally recommend Total Image!

I used Total Image Hair & Airbrush Makeup for our March 9th wedding and also for my bridal shower. I was so pleased with all of the services that Total Image provided.

From start to finish, Christa presented the utmost professionalism to me. Christa is the owner of the company and was also our makeup artist. Christa is a very talented woman who has serviced quite the list of famous people in her day…you should read her bio! Also, she offers a fair price and I definitely felt that the value exceeded the price that we paid.

First, I had my trial run the morning of my bridal shower. I received a ton of compliments on how great both my hair and makeup looked. I had airbrush makeup done. The airbrushed makeup is so light and did not get greasy at all. It looked so fresh all day.

On the day of the wedding, I had my hair and makeup done in addition to my Mom and Mother-In-Law, my two bridesmaids, and my Aunt. All of them were serviced by Christa, who did all of the makeup, and Andrea, who did all of the hair. Everyone in my group looked so great! I mean this was a kitchen full of beautiful women!

Christa and Andrea blended well with my family and it was a pleasure to have them with us that morning. My hair and makeup looked great the entire day.

Total Image was wonderful on my wedding day. They arrived on time, with enough staff to take care of us girls, and got us ready in time. My hair and makeup looked beautiful and it stayed on all night. My only recommendation would be to purchase the lipstick which is used on you, since mine wore off and I later had to use my own shade which I didn't love as much. They are not a cheap vendor but you definitely get what you paid for. Loved it!

The Total Image Hair & Airbrush Makeup team were excellent! The makeup artist and hair stylist assigned to me were fantastic. They did a beautiful job. Christa was very flexible and professional onthe day of my wedding. We originally paid for 5 hairs/4 makeup and because there was slight change in plane (4 hairs/5 makeup) I called Christa to confirm if it would be OK to swap and she agreed. Overall, very smooth sailing worhing with this team of professionals.

I was extremely happy with my hair and makeup the day of my wedding. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, so I was a little worried about wearing more than normal. My makeup artist did a great job listening/responding to my requests so the makeup was pretty and not overdone.

My mom and I both have very short hair. Neither of us has ever found a stylist who styles our hair the way we like it, so we were skeptical about finding one for my wedding. The stylist from Total Image did a great job! We both loved our hair. The stylist was very responsive to my requests while finishing my hair.

I did a trial a few days before my wedding, and while I didn't like the initial result, both Christa and my hair stylist were flexible and able to achieve exactly what I wanted. Total Image did a great job with the hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids and hair for the mothers of the bride and groom. I originally planned to use a studio for these services, however the studio prices were extremely high - Total Image came onsite and provided professional and personal service for less than it would have cost my party to spend the morning in a studio. I definitely recommend them! My trial went perfectly, and the ladies made everyone very comfortable the day of the wedding. We all loved our hair and makeup!

I was having major difficulty booking for my wedding and when I was given the referral for Total Images from my wedding coordinator at our reception, I was so lucky... especially almost two weeks away from the big day. I looked just like I wanted to look on my wedding day! Total Image created lovely looks on all of us (1 bride, 4 bridesmaids, 1 usher, 1 flower girl, 2 moms) for my June 2012 wedding. The ladies came to our hotel and had a whole team working on us!

All of our hair was beautiful! My style was intricate and gorgeous!

The thing that stands out about the makeup is the airbrush foundation. It lasted all night! Seriously. It was 100 degrees and we were all sweating, but each one of our complexions looked flawless even at the after party. The eye makeup was nice, just make sure to communicate up-front what you're looking for. Christa will create the look you ask for! If you don't have anything specific, she definitely goes for glam :)

As far a communication, make sure to call, not email. Even if you have to leave a message, they'll get back to you quickly.

The day-of, the team was actually early! They also finished sooner than expected too so it gave us more time for photos. Their prices are competitive, especially since they come to wherever you are! Since the makeup lasted all night, it was worth spending a little more than I originally budgeted.

Also make sure to do the trial... I realized I wanted to go LESS natural than I asked for at the trial! So glad I found that out before...

My make up for my wedding made me feel gorgeous. Christa listened to what I wanted and did a beautiful job. I had a hot summer day for my wedding day and the make up latest all through church, pictures at the park, and through the reception. All that was needed was lipgloss touch up. I was very happy with the pricing and Christa was great to work with.

Christa and company did a great job for my wedding. I first went to the trial and was happy with the results. However, as I looked at the pictures that were taken after the trial, I did request that a couple of changes be made. Simple things like more curls in the back and tone down the shimmer on the eye makeup. I called Christa and she told me not to worry... Whatever I wanted they would do. She was very reassuring. On my wedding day, both Christa and Katie were very attentive to my needs and I really felt beautiful when they were done. The bridesmaids looked beautiful as well... not overdone. All of us were radiant.

We used total image to do our make-up on wedding day. There were 5 bridesmaids and myself getting our make-up done. Christy is the lady that did my make-up trial and the one who came to do our make-up. She texted me 2 hours before she was suppose to be there and said she was coming early which was fine with us. Once she got there we were not ready for he to start and she never rushed us or made us feel bad for making her wait. Our make-up got a lot of compliments and all of us looked amazing. After she was done she even put some eyeshadow, blush and lip gloss on my daughter (flower girl) which I thought was very special and considerate of her! She was great to work with and they do a beautiful job. The only problem was when I cried at the ceremony it made lines down my face ;) but it looked great!! Also, they use lipstick and by the time the ceremony starts its all gone so it was useless. Overall, they were great, their prices a high for the make-up running down my face when i cried but they were awesome and I would definitely use them again!

Christa the owner did my makeup, maid of honor's, and my mom's makeup for my wedding. She used airbursh makeup on all of us, fake eyelashes and the whole works, and we came out stunning! The makeup lasted from 10AM till we went back to our hotel around 2AM. She did such an amazing job and we got compliments all night long! Andrea did my hair and my maid of honor's, and she also did an incredible job. I went for 2 trials because after I designed my dress I decided on having a different hairstyle, and she was so sweet and listened to everything I asked and my hair turned out exactly like I pictured it. My hair is very long, and we left it down and curled, and usually my curls fall after a few hours, but Andrea did such a great job my hair lasted all day and night, and even during pictures outside with the wind blowing. I would recommend them to everyone! They are amazing and very sweet people to work with :)

Christa was great! I would recomend her for anyone moms or grandmas...she did both of mine and they loved their make up! it last forever and i never felt greesy. I also did the detoix wrap before my wedding and Loved it!

I only needed my hair and makeup for my wedding day and this is one of the only places that would do it. I freaked out a little when the airbrush was put on because it looked caked on. Andrea assured me it would soften up and it did. I ended up loving my hair and makeup. Thanks!

Total Image was amazing! Christa and her team were so great to work with. They were fun, friendly and fast! I had 4 bridesmaids decide day of that they wanted their make up done. I use this place to get spray tanned. My color is fabulous, and it's really all about the color when it comes to spray tanning. Too much yellow or orange aint'a good thing. Total Image gives you that reddish / gold brown look, very natural and sultry. And they customize the tan. there is a consultation before they decide which solution is best to match your skin type. I definitely recommend it.

I found Total Image by chance doing a Google search and could not have been more pleased. I had a bit of a rocky start when I first went to do my trial run. I loved the make-up, done by Melissa, but was less than thrilled with the hair. However, the owner of the salon told me that I could come back for another hair trial and she would find me another person to do it. True to her word, when I went back for my second hair trail, it was done by a different woman who did EXACTLY what I wanted. I hired both woman for the wedding day and they came to the hotel where I and my bridesmaids were getting ready. I can honestly say that everyone looked absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier with results. Not only would I recommend Total Image but I would use them again myself for any black tie events.

I went to Total Image to get spray tanned for my wedding. My goal was to not be dark, but not pasty in my gown. I am usually very pale and had an August wedding. I had the most natural glow. Aside from my very close friends, who know how pale I really am, nobody knew that I got a fake tan.

I could not be happier with Total Image, Christa and Lucia! Everything was perfect from the trial to the wedding day! I really did not have any idea when it came to hair and make up and they made everything perfect. I had some pictures that looked kind of like what I was looking for and Lucia was able to combine them all into the perfect hairstyle. Christa was able to give me a perfect look! I never really wear make up and she was able to make me look perfect! My mom never wears make up either and was scared to death to do both her hair and make up. She looking absolutely stunning! Her short hair was in a wonderful up do. Another one of my bridesmaids has very very sensitive skin and did not break out any more than with her sensitive skin make up after sweating all day in the airbrush make up. Everyone looking perfect! Each of the bridesmaids had a different look and idea and each one's ideas were met. They also made us feel so comfortable and calm. It was pouring rain on our wedding day and nothing moved an inch. Christa and Lucia kept us calm and assured us that everything would be great. We (like every bride) had wedding drama and Christa and Lucia fit in like one of our best friends! They really added to our wedding morning! I could not ask for anything better! I used Total Image for my wedding on 6/10/11 for both hair and makeup for myself and most of my bridesmaids. Christa and Katie were awesome at both the trial and on the day of. They both listened to the ideas I had and then put their talents to work to come up with styles that really worked for me. Having them come to the house while we got ready the morning of was so nice as well. We didn't have to worry about running late at a salon or driving anywhere as they just came to us! They are both so friendly and really set the mood for the whole day as we got ready. The final result was absolutely stunning and I have never felt more beautiful. They made me feel as though I was a princess and I received nothing but compliments on both my hair and makeup all night. All of my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup as well, and to not have one complaint among all 6 of them is saying something. I had my wedding on June 4th, and my bridesmaids and I were blown away by how amazing Christa and Katie were! Christa did our aibrush makeup flawlessly and exactly as I had envisioned - even though I gave her very little direction. Christa did our makeup and Katie did our hair. I was very happy with both my hair and makeup!!!! I received so many compliments on my hair it was crazy. Katie was so nice and very friendly! I loved how Christa did my makeup and she listened which is very important to me. However, my mom was very unhappy with her makeup. I would have rated all 5's but my mom had to be happy as well. On the other hand my mom asked for lots of makeup and that is what Christa did but it looked way too much and fake. After Christa was done my mom was very unhappy. She tried fixing it but it still looked not so good. My mom was so stressed and I could see it in her face. She did not have time to fix it herself so after the ceremony my mom went to the hotel to wash her face and she did her makeup herself. I have to admit the makeup on my mom did not look good at all and I was kinda surprised Christa did not make more of an effort to change it. Towards the end Christa seemed kinda irritated and rushed. Honestly, besides my mom being unhappy both me and my sister were VERY happy with our makeup!!! I would recommend Total Image and I think Christa may just have been having a bad day because at my trial she was great. I know my wedding day is the most important but I still would give Christa a second chance.

We were pleased with the services provided for our wedding. I did a practice session at the studio which was very helpful. It allowed me to try a couple of different hairstyles, take pictures, and think about what I wanted for the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding I wanted to slightly modify my hair & makeup from what we initially tried at the trial, and the girls were very responsive to my vision & requests. They also worked quickly, which was important with a bride, mother of the bride, and multiple bridesmaids! Initially my mom was hesitant to have her hair & makeup done, but she ended up looking beautiful & was very happy with the style they designed for her. I wore my hair half down, so the down half didn't hold a curl for long, but I believe that had to do with the texture of my hair, not how it was styled. My makeup held up well. I would remind people to be sure to bring powder, lipstick, etc for touch-ups during the day. I forgot my powder so I was shiny by the end of the night, but my makeup was still in place & in pictures it just looked like I was glowing! Overall, I was pleased & would recommend the girls for anyone looking to have hair & makeup done for a formal event.

This company was refered to me to help me with my hair, makeup and tanning for my wedding. I am so glad I used them. I have very sensitive skin, but the airbrush tanning didn't irritate my skin at all, and she made me feel very comfortable (not sel-consious) as she was applying the airbrush. My make up and hair was beautiful on my wedding day, and it lasted all night long. Everything stayed put! Which is also amazing because I have the kind of skin where makeup never stays on for very long. i love this salon, and would go back every single day of my life if I could!!

Total Image did a wonderful job with my hair and makeup for my wedding! I was really concerned about my hair since I had two ceremonies (Christian and Hindu) with very, very different hairpieces for both and they totally helped me figure it out! Having been to a few of tother tanning salons that do spray tan, a friend recommended Total Image - she told me they had a really good reputation . This is a really nice salon, and the technicain made me feel so comfortable (after all, I was completely without clothes). The procedure was fast - was in and out in about 20 minutes. My tan lasted the full 10 days. No fading issues or patchy weirdness. I would recommend Total Image as the best airbrush tan.

Even when a problem arose with the scheduling of another wedding that was the same day, everything went smoothly. All of my bridesmaids and myself were able to get the hair styles and makeup that we wanted. Both hair and makeup lasted well and there were only a few minor casualties due to the heat/sweat! Even after crying throughout the ceremony my makeup still looked good. Would highly recommend them, especially for the price!

However, they do not spend that much time to prep you and you have to make sure to put on primer yourself before they put makeup on you.
