Shannon was amazing - I was worried about having one person do hair for all four of my bridesmaids, my mother, and myself, but she worked quickly and efficiently, AND had amazing results. Everyone's hair looked amazing - I would definitely hire Shannon again!

Shannon has to be the best hair artist in the greater columbus area! If not all of Ohio! I loved her! It was so great to have someone come to you on the day of your wedding and for such a reasonable price! She did my bridesmaids hair and mine. We were running a little behind from our makeup appointments and she was so understanding and was able to still give me the perfect hair updo, even better than the picture I provided. You can tell she truly loves what she does!

For my wedding, I hired Shannon to do hair on myself, my five bridesmaids, and my mother. Shannon arrived on time, set up quickly with her assistant, and got right to work. She was personable, and creative in that she had great suggestions...she made everyone look uniform yet still provided each with an individual flare. I would highly recommend her to any bride. We were all so pleased that our hairstyles stayed intact the entire evening. She was great!

Shannon was a joy to work with, you can tell she really enjoys her job. I am so glad I booked her for my wedding this past August. She did my hair and my bridal party's hair. She traveled to us, set up and got to work. All of our hairstyles turned out beautifully and lasted all day. If you want the convenience of a hairstylist traveling to you and want to look beautiful for your big day then I definitely recommend Shannon!

My planning was not the best, but she's quite sympathetic to my lack of experience and did all she could to help. She's not judging people. As a result I'm not stressed at all.

On the day she achieved what's exactly hoped for, in the perfect time. She also patiently worked with us for a few tips, like teaching us how to work with veil etcetera.

She also have an aura of positive energy-- that brings everyone calm and happy. Very nice lady to work together.

What a wonderful morning we had getting ready for my daughters wedding! Shannon arrived bright and early and was ready to go. All six bridesmaids and the bride had beautiful updo's and Shannon styled my hair just right. She is so responsive to our concerns and what we did and didn't want, and even was able to make a 10 year old Jr. Bridesmaid smile with excitement.

My wedding hair was exactly what I wanted. I showed her a few inspiration pictures and she made me a perfect combination of the hairstyles I showed her. She even incorporated the veil perfectly into the hairstyle. I love love loved it!

I was so lucky to have Shannon help me on my wedding day. She was so flexible and happy to help my girls who had originally thought they had it covered. I appreciated that she never made me feel rushed or that she had someplace else to be. With her being so calm, I was able to stay calm too. Shannon was great. She was there bright and early and got right down to business. We were able to eat breakfast and have coffee in the hotel room and relax. Shannon is so sweet and very very very nice. She gave us a hairstyle that we want and she's such a perfectionist that she will make sure that the hair is perfect. I got married this past Saturday and I have nothing but good things to say about Shannon Goode!! She is absolutely amazing!!! She was so flexible throughout my wedding planning process- I was planning my Ohio wedding from Texas so things were a little crazy at times and Shannon made my life easy...I knew if all else failed, my bridesmaids and I would look beautiful!! And I was so right! Everyone's hair looked awesome! She is so creative- some girls had pictures and she knew exactly how to make the styles she was given work for that persons hair type and added some great personal touches! I have always hated having my hair done for proms, ect. growing up so I was kind of dreading having to get an up-do...and it turned out PERFECT!! It looked soooo good (not to brag haha!) and I had girls asking to take pictures of my hair all evening at the reception to give their own wedding hairstylists ideas. You will not regret it if you go with Shannon Goode on your wedding day...TRUST ME!!! :) Oh, and getting ready in the privacy of our own hotel rooms was such a good decision...very private, less stressful, and super relaxing...JUST DO IT!

Shannon came on site to do my hair along with 8 other people in the wedding. She was very friendly and efficient, making hair fast and fun. We had hairstyles including ribbons and roses, all up and half up. She could work from a picture or a general idea. Everyone looked absolutely fabulous and loved their hair. She was also accomodating for our various needs. I would recommend her to anyone. She is a GLBT friendly vendor (every vendor we chose was).

Absolutely amazing! She knew exactly what to do with me not even knowing what i wanted. She asked three easy questions and that was enough for her to figure out what i wanted! I couldnt even make it into town for a consult so there was no preparations at all. In addition to her amazing work she was incredibly fast which left plenty of time for us to get ready with out rushing. I would highly recommend her... She is not only a Hair specialist, she an artist!!!

Shannon was absolutely amazing. All of my bridesmaids hair looked gorgeous, even my little niece who was my flower girl. My hair was exactly what I wanted and it stayed in and looked perfect all night even in 80 degree weather and dancing. You can spend tons of money on "famous" hair or you can go to Shannon and get an amazing job done for reasonable prices and have her come to your site.

Shannon provided hair services for eight women: two mothers, five bridesmaids, and me. She had hoped to have an assistant with her, but it fell through, so she came a little earlier to make up for it. She does on-site hair services, so she came to our hotel suite around 11 am. It was wonderful to not have to worry about traveling to a salon. We could drink mimosas, listen to music, and relax while Shannon did hair and Alison Feamster did makeup. Shannon was organized and neat. She requested a large table (the room’s desk) and went to work setting up her supplies: brushes, combs, clips, curling irons, various products and sprays, a huge box of hair pins, and about 7 sets of hot curlers. She quickly set almost everyone’s hair in hot rollers first, depending on the style desired. She and Alison traded off in order to get the hair and makeup done efficiently. I had had a trial with Shannon, so I knew exactly how I wanted my hair. Everyone had some idea of what they wanted, and Shannon was able to work with them to create beautiful styles. None of us felt we had heads full of pins, and Shannon said that she tries not to use an inordinate number of pins because they are not needed, and it prevents headaches. Shannon was gentle as she worked and the products she used did not have an overpowering scent. She was friendly, fun, and fast. She made sure we were all happy with our hair before she left. All of our styles held up all day and night. I would highly recommend.

Shannon made my girls and I look fabulous!! she is an artist, a joy to work with, very sweet , very professional and so diligent. She will not stop until you are perfect and stunning!! I love what she did with my and my flower girls hair! she made my bridesmaids look so gorgeous !! they did not want to wash their hair for days lol!.

Shannon was such a great hairdresser! The day of the wedding she came to us, helped the 5 of us figure out what hairstyles we wanted. Everyone looked amazing! I wanted each one of my bridesmaids to be comfortable with whatever updo they wanted. Each one had a different updo, everything stayed in place throughout the night. I was worried about Frizz and losing the curl throughout the night but even through the hot weather it stayed in place and looked great through the last picture. Shannon stayed a little past our original time schedule to finish everyone's hair because we were running late, and her and her assistant were very very nice! Worked well even with girls rotating in and out for makeup at the same time. Great prices! I definitely recommend Shannon!

Shannon is great! She travels where you are getting ready and sets up in whatever space you have available. She is very nice and understanding. I was a little worried after my first consult that my hair would not be exactly what I wanted, so she suggested a second consult. The second consult made me feel better and the day of the wedding it looked awesome!! I was pleased with the services Shannon provided. She was always quick to respond to my questions and very flexible with scheduling. She is very nice and gets the job done well. All the bridesmaids and MOG loved their hairstyles.

Shannon did my hair as well as 5 of my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and did an absolutely amazing job! We all had different styles and printed off pictures of what we wanted and Shannon replicated each look perfectly! I would definately recomment Shannon to any bride especially since she travels to you and because she is awesome at what she does!!

Shannon was wonderful! She did my hair and all six of the ladies in the bridal party (including one tween junior bridesmaid). I met with her once to do a trial run, and since I didn't have any specific ideas of what I wanted, I gave her free reign and ended up loving what she did with it. Some of the girls wanted very simple styles and others something a little more elaborate, but everyone looked elegant and coordinated. I was also amazed how fast she did everyone's hair, without ever seeming rushed. I highly recommend Shannon.

Shannon was flexible and accommodated everything to my wedding day schedule. She showed up at my mom's house 6:15am and gave us all (Bride, Bride's mom, 4 bridesmaids) beautiful hair and was done by 8:30, everyone had their hair just the way they wanted and Shannon amazed us all with her skill and speed. Shanon came back to my reception venue and gave me a second hairdo for my evening look, and was complimented by everyone. Shannon was very professional and friendly, not to mention she has the sweetest voice that just automatically calms you down =)

I had another reception the week after and Shannon was able to come help me with short notice, and she once again styled my hair another way I wanted. It has been fun working with Shannon and I highly recommend her service.

Shannon did an amazing job with my hair. I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted done, and she was able to take one look at it and figure out what to do. I had an early morning wedding, and she was at my hotel early that morning. She did a great job with the entire wedding party, including my eight-year old niece that had snarls in her hair!

Traveling Wedding Hair Specialists was great. We had a total of 5 girls including myself (the bride) who needed their hair done. Some people brought pictures of what they wanted and others did not. The hairstylist was able to recreate the pictures almost exactly. And for those who didn't have a picture she created the perfect hair do based on requests. The price was extremely reasonable and the stylist was very personable. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I have already recommended this company to another bride. The approximate $$ spent is total for the entire group

Shannon was wonderful in every way! She did all our hair efficiently and made extra effort with each person to make sure that each was happy with how their hair was done, after having interviewed me about my requirements as the bride. Her work quality is absolutely perfect as well as quick and efficient! The value of hiring Shannon cannot be beaten - her prices are lower than going to a salon but the experience is SO much better!!

Shannon was always very responsive to emails and calls, very quick responses; she was flexible, we don't live in Columbus so coming into town we weren't sure of all our arrangements/where we would meet, and she was very laid back about that (where others sometimes weren't). She was totally professional at all times, yet also really warm and friendly after she got to know us - so depending what you want as far as your relationship to her, she is very flexible.

As an added plus, Shannon even gave me a referral to a makeup artist, the person was booked but then referred me on to the one I used who was also terrific. This is to say, Shannon provides great service and is connected to others who do too. I really cannot recommend her highly enough, she was one of my favorite vendors to work with and always brought a smile to my face to deal with her.

Having Shannon be able to come to our hotel to have our hair done was amazing. My bridesmaids and I were able to just relax, drink mimosas and not have to worry about driving to a salon somewhere. Everyone's hair looked amazing and I was impressed with how quickly but thoroughly she was able to put everything together. All three bridesmaid styles were updo's but they were all unique and I think Shannon did a great job of pulling each of their styles into the hair. We all have a wide array of hair types, short, long, thin, thick and she worked with everyone's without any issues. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone!

Shannon was far too sweet and nice! She made sure all of us were happy before she left. Everyone's hair looked great all night - even after ten hours of photos, dancing, and general mayhem. Shannon worked well with the makeup artist we chose and they were able to switch back and forth between us to get everyone ready on time. She was also flexible enough to change her arrival time just a few days before to accommodate our schedule.

I definitely recommend having hair and makeup artists travel to your location for your wedding - it makes it much easier for out-of-town bridesmaids if they don't have to find a new salon. Both of my bridesmaids were very happy with their hair and were exceptionally pleased that they didn't have to leave their hotel to get ready for the wedding.

Shannon was incredible. She was very easy going, professional and accomadating to all of my needs. She made getting ready for the wedding effortless. I highly recommend her if you need someone to do hair for multiple people and you don't have a lot of time. She's very experienced in getting things done within a strict time limit. You can't beat her quality and pricing. She helped me look perfect (and my bridesmaid's and Mother) for my big day.

Shannon was a great hair stylist. She is so patient and sweet. She is very professional and was willing to work with you on your hair style of your choice. For my wedding, my bridesmaid and I were open to ideas and she did everyone's hair on the spot with no problems. All the ladies loved their hair and satisified with the service.

My hair had to be taken down and redone, was never even close to what I had asked for. My bridemaids each had a different style they wanted and gave her pictures of each. None of the bridesmaids hair looked like the pictures and in fact they all looked identical to eachother in a style none of them wanted. She was 45 minutes late and told me she needed to leave earlier than my contract time. Her pricing was very low which is what I wanted, I just did not expect to compromise the quality of my hair. In the end it looked ok, but nothing like what I had asked for. I would not use her again.

Shannon Goode took my deposit in December for my June wedding after I signed a contract specifying the date and time I would need her (red flag should've been that she doesn't sign a contract to say she'll be there). She pushed for me to have my trial done super early in February. Shortly thereafter she informed me that she double booked and would only be able to come to do our hair early in the morning for a late afternoon wedding. She had previously told me she already thought she was coming too early and now she was telling me it would be much much earlier. This was unacceptable as we would've had to worry about our hair all day and miss the other appointments I had scheduled. She said that she had just made a mistake and booked someone else (I don't know if I believe this-my wedding party was small and think maybe she just got a better offer). I asked why the other person's wedding was more important than mine. She said it wasn't but was inflexible. Since it was already late February, I couldn't find someone to come out for the three of us because people were booked. She left me high and dry; she didn't help me find someone else. She did return the deposit, but she refused to return the consultation fee and didn't respond to my emails asking for it. I wouldn't have written this review had she just given me all my money back. Another vendor I worked with said they heard other stories about her being unorganized. My fiance said I looked like Patsy Cline (and not in a good way) after my consultation, so maybe it was for the best. Still, I liked her as a person in the beginning and wanted it to happen. Very disappointed!
