Everything we use now is all digital
How many photographers do you work with?
I have a few that I work with when needed.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
YES absolutely! You booked with me, I am there every step of the way!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I haven't yet but will have a Sat/Sun wedding in 2012.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Three cameras, two flashes, many lenses, and MANY memory cards.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
YES
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have both available to suit everyone's needs.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
$150 if full day package isn't booked.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
If I am there over dinner time a meal is expected.
Do you charge for travel?
Not if it's in the Windsor and Essex county reign. I do LOVE to travel and will travel outside of the area with the expenses paid. I also do destination weddings where I don't charge for the photography as long as the transportation and accommodations is paid for.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
4-8 weeks. I do give out sneak peaks as I know everyone is excited.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
On an online gallery for four months.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
On an online gallery for four months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I have the right to have the photos used in my advertising/website. The bride and groom is able to use the disc as how they choose as in printing anything they want from it.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, it is part of the contract.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Only the edited ones.
Will images be available for viewing online?
YES, password protected. I also offer a unique service. The bride and groom are able to send the password to their friends and if their friends and family order any of the photos the bride and groom receive 10% of the totals back into their fund to spend on more photos or other gifts as they choose.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Hardcover and flush mount.
When will the client get the final album?
Roughly one month from the time they choose which photos they would like in the album.
