Looking back, I wish I had more various poses and pictures taken during the wedding.

The photos I received were beautiful and they captured the moments, but in some pictures, such as the cake eating pics, my husbands head was a little cut off.

I'm glad I got this photographer, just need minor improvements.

John and his team did an awesome job. I would definetly recommend him for ANY event..Very professional, awesome awesome job!

John and his team at Trusted Exposures were excellent. They were so professional and great to work with. They made sure to get all the shots we wanted and really blended in with the crowd. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Considering the quality of the photos and the professionalism of Trusted Exposures, we definitely got our money's worth and then some! Trusted Exposures is Awesome!! My daughter and I met John at a Bridal show in Richmond, VA and she immediately knew he was the one she wanted to photograph her special day. She and her fiance' wanted engagement photos, so John took them out to some fun places and got shots of them doing lots of fun things.
Then he came out to take her bridal picture outside in the heat and humidity at the Country Club where we were out on the golf course. He even included some of the golfers in pictures as they were playing through. Everyone got involved. That's just the type of person John is. Very accomodating, creative and a lot of fun to work with.
The day of the wedding his crew was there bright and early to take photos of the "getting ready" phase and then on to the church for pre-formals, the ceremony, and post-formals. John and his crew were very flexible and took special request photos of family and friends.
At the reception, the candid photos as well as the requested photos were just terrific. You really didn't even know they were there. They blended in the with the crowd and looked like they even had fun themselves.
I recommend Trusted Exposures for everyone's special day, from beginning to finish!

Trusted Exposures is a company I will recommend to everyone. John and his staff did a phenomenal job at our wedding. He was always there if we had any questions or needed anything. They took amazing pictures and I could not have asked for anyone better. John and Rebecca were like part of our family. Many family and friends even commented on how they blended so well with what was going on.

Ok, here’s the no bull review. John and his crew are AWESOME. Hiring Trusted Exposures was the best money I spent for the wedding... and I spent a lot of money that day. Years afterwards I can look at the photos with my husband and remember the intensity of the love and the joy of the day. Who cares of you have bigger centerpieces or extra appetizers if you can’t look back and remember all the precious moments? Love is what it’s all about and Trusted Exposures gets it. Hire these guys.

About me: I’m type A, outgoing, and work in sales so I have high standards, especially with service. Before hiring Trusted Exposures, I fired another vendor because they weren’t responsive. Specifically seeking a photographer, I met John at a bridal show a month before the wedding, and was particularly impressed with his demeanor and portfolio of Samantha & Mike’s wedding and her “trash the dress” session.

Two days before the wedding I caught the flu, and powered through it with wine and too many over the counter meds. While wine buzzing I did my own make up. Despite this, Trusted Exposures managed to make me look beautiful in nearly every photo all day.

Wedding day: John and his crew showed up early and ready to shoot. They took the time to ask about important relationships and listened to our requests. There were some amazing candid photos that were exactly what I wanted. They were cheerful and constantly worked the big day, from 10 am to midnight.

In addition to the ceremony & posed photos we had two receptions, plus some informal outdoor bride & groom only “sweetheart shots” in between. The sweetheart session was fantastic, they made my shy and reserved husband feel really comfortable and it shows in their work.

For posed photos, shots were reviewed immediately and re-taken if somebody blinked or adjustment was needed. They were efficient with set up and break down of auxiliary lighting equipment indoors. Every photo had extremely good technical merit, with proper exposure, lighting, and frame composition. They made the good looking people look marvelous AND the ugly people look good.

On top of it all John really captured the essence of us and the unique extra things about our Halloween reception, from the costumed guests at the plantation manor and rum fueled shenanigans of the wedding party, to my Mom’s surprise reaction when 100 people sang Happy Birthday to her.

After the wedding the pictures were re-touched and posted online within two weeks, which is remarkable considering there were over 800 retouched and 1600 posted. Trusted Exposures even sent us a few samples the same week. John was prompt in returning all calls and emails.

Two things I wish I’d done differently:
1. I should have written out a list of personalized unique shots. There were a few ideas I had prior to the wedding but didn’t write down and give to him. John has a solid set of “creative photos” he likes, which included some amazing photos I wouldn’t have though to take but am very happy to have. There were a dozen more shots I wish I’d asked for, like one with just me and my best friend outside with umbrellas.
2. I asked John to show up at the salon. We really didn’t need to have pictures of the girls before makeup.

John and his crew made my wedding day very special. They were very concerned about getting pictures that I wanted. They were very organized and were where they needed to be when I needed them to be there. My pictures turned out absolutly amazing. They also did our engagement pictures and he didnt force us to do poses we didn't want to do, he caputured us. The engagement session really help John, Charlie and I to get to know each other and that really came through on our wedding day because he knew what we liked and didn't like

John and his crew at Trusted Exposures work exceptionally well together and with my husband and I on our engagement photos as well as on our wedding day pictures. There is a level of perfessionalism that I have not experienced with any of the other vendors we highered for our September 5th wedding. Every shot captured was near flawless. They made sure every detail was looked at before the shot was taken. My guess and wedding party noticed it as well.
Just this evening I was speaking to my sister who is helping a friend organize her 10 year anniversary. They were both were at my wedding and are considering hiring him to come to Toronto, Canada to do this anniversary
Before hiring Trusted Exposure we reviewed other photographers and by far this company was the most reasonable and its because they love what they do.
I had the chance to look at some other wedding photos that were taken and to hear the photographers thoughts and inspiration of the picture is like, hearing a song writers master piece.
To comment on the people who work for Trusted Exposures; they are so humble.
I had to plan my entire wedding from Canada and John answered any questions I had at anytime cause he was easily accessable. John and his team at Trusted Exposures do fantastic work and I am so pleased I willing to tell everybody to use them; even if they have to fly him in to there State or country; he is that good

Choosing Trusted Exposures was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day. They were creative, receptive to our ideas and on top of every detail. They always responded promptly to my emails and phone calls, and were very enthusiastic about some creative photo ideas I had wanted for our big day. John and his two assistants did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding. Together Jason and I wanted someone who would be able to capture all of our candid and precious moments and they’ve succeeded. They were a blast to spend the day with and the entire time it was like our minds were in sync. They’re creative and open to any suggestions that you have and are eager to please you. John was definitely willing to work with our budget and exceeded our expectations and his value. If you're a couple that likes having fun and wants great and creative pictures John and his team are the ones for you. I can't tell you how much fun it was yacht hoping and trying all sorts of fun poses. If you want a worry free day then Trusted Exposures are the ones you should hire.

As I’m sure it is with every bride, I wanted my wedding to be perfect in every way. I also wanted the memories of my wedding to be something I could look back on and remember this day forever. One of my toughest decisions to that end was who I would entrust to photograph those magical moments. After researching several perspective photographers, I decided on John Edgar and his team from Trusted Exposures. After it is all said and done, I don’t think I could have made a better decision. John and his team were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. I never felt like they were in the way, yet they seemed to be able to capture all those special moments that we will treasure forever. They always seemed to be in the right place at the right time for those special candid shots of family and friends. All of the formal pictures were elegantly done as well. They truly captured the essence of what the day was supposed to be… magical. My heart felt thanks to John and his team for helping to make my wedding day everything I had hoped it would be.

I used Trusted Exposures as the photographer for my wedding. John & his team are very nice & professional. They were with us the whole day to capture those pictures you dont really think about. Rebecca even picked up my flowers when the original plan fell through which was VERY nice of her. The pictures look amazing and they are very creative. I highly recommend them and hope to use them when our little bundle of joy arrives in a few months!

Trusted exposure photography was amazing. There was no pressure from them for certain pictures. They worked with us and went with the flow. John and his team were the perfect company to photograph our wedding. It’s more than just the photography that you need to worry about on your wedding day, there is a professional presence, control of the event, and your expectations of the work completed. Trusted Exposures hit every point and gave us more than we could have ever imagined. I worked with Trusted Exposures months in advance addressing my concerns and the type of photography that most appealed to my husband and I. We wanted more of a candid style with less forced poses, and especially not to be distracting during the most critical times. Such as the engagement photos, where we spent hours in the hot summer sun, making sure we captured just the right photo. During the wedding all the photographers took wonderful pictures and were very easy to work with. They knew exactly were to be to capture that one incredible picture but in my case it was hundreds. John, from Trusted Exposures, took great shots at my wedding! He was great at capturing action shots during the ceremony. (I can only imagine how hard it is to get EVERY little special moment.) He is also more than willing to take his time with you if you want very specific shots.
The photos were of great quality and color - which is something Im picky about!

John, from Trusted Exposures did a phenominal job as the photographer at our wedding. First, technically, he is an excellent photographer. Every picture was clear, bright, and had great color. He took the time to learn about the relationships of the people in the wedding and was very creative in the shots he took. We wanted both posed and candid shots, and he did that wonderfully. He took couple shots of all the couples at the wedding, and they were so good, we gave many of them to the subjects as Christmas presents. Most thought it was the best picture of them they had ever seen. If you want the best at your wedding, hire John from Trusted Exposures.
