Tudor Place

We absolutely loved the grounds at Tudor Place! Jeralynn, the Event Coordinator, was helpful in all aspects of the planning and warmly greeted everyone the day of the wedding. This property is a gem in Washington DC, and we highly recommend it if you are looking for a beautiful and elegant outdoor venue!!

We had our small ceremony at Tudor place this spring (April 2009). We began looking at venues in September 2008. Tudor Place was the first one that we saw, and nothing else compared! The gardens are beautiful and there are several to choose from, offering you flexibility to accommodate the size of your group and your personal preferences. They only schedule one wedding per day, so you don't have to worry about being rushed or having to wait for another group to finish. We were allowed access to different areas on the property to get ready and special accommodations were also made for a few of our guests who needed extra assistance with wheelchairs and walkers. The location itself is beautiful, but what makes Tudor Place so special is the personal attention that we received from Jeralynn. You can tell that she loves Tudor Place and loves what she does. She answered any questions that we had throughout the process and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed and didn't have to stress on the big day. We're so glad that we chose this location and highly recommend it if you are looking for a beautiful setting for an outdoor ceremony. (One thing to note is that Tudor Place is available only for the ceremony--they do not host receptions.)
