The reception ran smoothly. Gratuity for servers included in price which really hiked up the total food cost. The planning stages were not so smooth, we'd make specific arrangements for food, # of tables, color of table cloths, etc., and then they'd be calling months later asking the same questions all over again like it was never written down in the first place. The food was wonderful, the room was beautiful with all of my mom's centerpieces and their linens.
The staff is very helpful, and the location is remote. It's located in Turkey Run State Park and is beautiful. I'm getting married in the winter, and I'm hoping that there is snow on the ground because the room has one wall covered in windows overlooking a wooded area. It is beautiful. The sales manager is very excited about doing my wedding reception there which makes me feel excited. I defintely recommend this location. The cost of the Lusk Room is $600. We haven't priced the food yet.
