I just got married 3 days ago and am still on cloud 9 at how well it went. I hired Turntable Events to DJ my wedding and Spencer was fantastic!!! I had people coming up to me all night (including my grandmother) saying how much fun they were having and how amazing the music was.
Spencer with Turntable Events exceeded all my expectations. I found Turntable Events online while researching Wedding DJ's through multiple wedding websites and I kept finding that Turntable Events had rave reviews. I was a bit hesitant hiring someone that I found online rather then through referrals but soon after meeting Spencer I was so confident that he was going to be the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was so easy to talk to and professional that my fiance hired him on the spot.
He made my wedding a blast! We danced from the time it started till the time it ended! He played music that everyone of all ages can relate to and as the night went on and the older folks left he adjusted the music to entertain the younger party crowd.
Spencer was also very communicative, throughout the night he kept checking in with me and seeing how I felt the crowd was liking the music, if we had any requests and if there was anything else he could do.

Andrew from Turn Table Events was truly amazing for so many reasons. First let me say that our wedding was during the snow storm on October 29th. To say that a few things went wrong is a bit of an understatement. Our venue lost power and the generator was not working. Andrew had an incredibly positive attitude and improvised by playing our ceremony music on his laptop. Our first dance was a little remnicent of the movie say anything. He held up his laptop so that everyone could hear our song while we danced. Miraculously a generator starting working and he was able to play one speaker for the rest of the night. You couldn't even tell it was one speaker. He knew the crowd needed a release and played awesome music. I seriously think everyone there was on the dance floor. He read the crowd incredibly well and knew what would keep them dancing. I had a bunch of people come up to me to say he was THE BEST DJ EVER. Even the event manager said she couldn't wait to recommned him! Andrew had an amazing positive energy about him and I would without a doubt recommend him.

Spencer was amazing from beginning to end! Everyone raved about the music and the personalities of Spencer and his second DJ. Music was awesome and the crowd was on the floor ALL NIGHT (even people that we've never seen dance before!)

We have no regrets about using Turntable Events-they are professional, NICE and a great value!! The best part was seeing Spencer dancing himself and getting really into the music!!!! Thank you!

EVERYTHING about Spencer and Turntable Events was amazing. This was the only vendor that I chose that was not based on reviews from friends or family and I knew I had made the right decision when I first spoke with him. Everything was just so easy when dealing with Spencer. I didn't let him know final music choices until about a week before. Let me just say this.... I probably didn't even HAVE to give him music choices. He delivered perfect music ALL NIGHT. He knew exactly when to play each song he picked at the perfect time. He had every single family member & friend out on that dance floor. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Turntable Events for your wedding.

Oh, and may I add this..... definitely go with the uplighting. It lit up our room so well. They have the capability to change the colors with the click of a button from the DJ booth. It's amazing, he is amazing, and your wedding will be unforgettable with Turntable Events.

I couldn’t be happier with choosing Turntable Events for my wedding on October 1, 2011! Andrew was absolutely amazing! I felt very comfortable after first meeting him and trusted he would do an incredible job. However, I had no idea just how incredible he would do!! My friends and family cannot stop talking about how amazing my DJ was. The dancing started during cocktail hour and didn’t stop until guests were practically kicked out. Andrew played an amazing mix of music that no one could stop dancing to! He had great energy and was dancing as much as we were. I have many girlfriends who are engaged and I can’t stop recommending Turntable Events for their wedding! They made the night more incredible then I could ever imagine!!

I rarely post comments on websites, however the high from our wedding is still there from a few weeks ago. Our wedding was fantastic and the music and energy were perfect. AMAZING!! Turntable Events no doubt made our wedding one of the most memorable days of our lives. It has been three weeks since we got married and people are still telling us over and over that our wedding was the best party they have been to ever and how great the DJs were. The best thing about Spencer and Chris was that they didn't just play the music, they were a part of our wedding and were just as much into having a good time as our guests were. We had a mixed Indian/American wedding so we had music range from Motown hits, Michael Jackson, 80s, 90s, hip hop and Bollywood. I don't think there was literally one minute when the dance floor was empty once the music started. In addition to playing great music, Turntable's lighting created an ambience that transitioned from subtle dinner mood lighting to varying colors as the night progressed. It was perfect. The combination of the ridiculous beats, awesome lighting, and nonstop jumping and dancing made for a night that will never be forgotten and begged to be replicated! They displayed the utmost professionalism and demonstrated why they are the best DJs in the wedding biz this side of the Mississippi. I will no doubt recommend to anyone and everyone getting married hiring Spencer and Chris to guarantee the most memorable experience of their lives.

Spencer and Shariyf from Turntable Events did a phenomenal job at my wedding. My husband and I are 40 years old. Half of our guests were Pakistani and many were physicians. I wasn’t sure how Spencer was going to create an atmosphere that was fun for everyone. I was really worried when I couldn’t make the time to meet him before the event. I was very pleasantly surprised. He always was available by phone before the wedding and was extremely helpful. My husband who is in sales spoke to a variety of DJs (also with exceptional recommendations from Wedding Wire) and he told me that Spencer was the obvious choice. During the wedding, he was so creative, flexible and attentive the whole night. He played such a fantastic mix of music that everyone danced. I consistently received comments from everyone that his ability to mix songs and improvise was amazing. He even mixed some Pakistani songs into his selection. Thanks to Spencer and Shariyf I now have great blackmail pictures of people who swore they would never dance! They really are terrific; you will absolutely not be disappointed.

Spencer and Chris from Turntable Events were absolutely fantastic at our wedding! Spencer was wonderful to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process and made everything go smoothly. Spencer was referred to me by a friend who was married shortly before me and I could not have received a better experience. I provided a very detailed music list for both the cocktail hour, reception,& during dinner music and Spencer played everything I wanted. He was so pleasant to work with and helpful with suggestions for the mother & son dance, and how to gracefully ease in and out of dance routines. The sound quality was fantastic, and his announcements were delivered with authority and genuine happiness. I never felt like he was acting. Spencer was extremely accommodating with also providing us with a microphone and speaker for the ceremony. Our wedding ranged from outside to inside, and sound was great in both atmospheres. The guests consisted of a 30's crowd and 60's crowd, and Spencer had everyone on the dance floor. I was so pleased that my selections were played, it really made the whole experience more memorable. I received compliments from many of my guests on the DJ as well. I could not recommend a better person to DJ your wedding.

We could not asked for a better DJ....Chris & Spencer just absolutely rock!!!! Wow. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Spencer and Turntable Events. We had great communication before our wedding. We discussed playlists, songs, music genres and the must-play/do not play list at great measure to ensure we had an amazing night. Spencer also sat down with us a week before the wedding at our venue to lay out most of the night and we decided to go with really cool purple uplighting and light up DJ booth.
The lighting was also an amazing addition and really added to the party atmosphere. I am so glad we decided to go with the lighting package!
I must say that Spencer and Sharif took our wedding to the next level with their outstanding selections and playlist for both the cocktail hour and night.They played our songs mixed in with suggestions of their own to make everything absolutely perfect. Think huge party professionals all the way!

Where do I begin??? I seriously have no words to describe the performace that was given by Turntable Events outher than WOOOOW!! I've been maried for 3 months now and I keep hearing about how great the music was at our wedding and how good the vibe was. I chose Turntable Events for my wedding this past November. I solely made my decision for our entertainment based on their reviews on this very website. It was the only vendor that I didn't select based on friends' recommendations so I was a little anxious about this big decision. I am so happy that I chose Turntable Events! They exceeded any expectations I had for that night. They had all of my guests out on the dance floor the entire night! They played such a perfect variety of music from classics, oldies, current, even Greek music! My husband hates to dance more than anyone I know. I only expected to have our one dance together. Well, Spencer was able to get him out on the dance floor and our last dance was a moment I shared with my husband that I will always remember. We had a circle of guests all around us and my husband genuinely enjoyed the dancing, attention, and cameras! It was such an amazing night thanks to Spencer. He was professional, classy, fun, spontaneous, trustworthy and reliable. It's about two weeks later, and I am still getting phone calls from friends and family raving about our entertainment. I am so happy with my decision to go with Spencer for my DJ and MC services. It was the only vendor I chose that was strictly based on reviews and the Knot, and I could not have been happier. He is attentive, funny, extremely talented at what he does, and exudes such a fun and positive energy. He had people dancing all night long, including some usual nondancers, and did so without getting pulling people on the dance floor. He played an excellent choice of music that fit each hour of the night and exuded his positive, fun energy. We had a full dance-floor 30 minutes into the reception! Some of the awesome extras that I loved: He and my dad worked together so my dad could play some songs from his accordion at the reception. Spencer played 2 extra songs after our last dance song since people just did not want to stop. Up-lighting came free with the package (which he somehow made work with the rustic setting of my wedding). Best of all, Spencer had so much fun! He was smiling, even dancing behind the DJ booth throughout the night! My sister-in-law and 2 married friends have all said they had more fun at my wedding than their own because of the music! It is one month later, and I am still hearing about how great my DJ was. Highly recommended!

I speak for both my husband and I when I say that TurnTable Events made the night for us! They were exactly what we were looking for in a DJ and we couldn't have been happier with both the music and the interaction between them and our guests. In the midst of a wildly stressful time, Turntable Events was a lifesaver. From beginning to end, they were reliable, professional, friendly, and fun! They even went out of their way to accommodate us when we had to change our wedding date and venue at the last minute. I was extremely impressed with the quality of service and professionalism. My husband and I were too crazed at the end to even sit down and write out a list of songs, and gave only a vague instruction about the type of music we liked -- and they hit the nail on the head. From the moment we met with Spencer, we knew he would be our wedding DJ. We felt like we had known him for years and he totally understood our "vision" for our wedding reception music. We told him we wanted our wedding to be more like a dance party than a reception...and he delivered!! Spencer was great - professional, reliable, receptive to feedback and had great energy. The dance party kept going and going and was awesome! I could not agree more with all of the great reviews that I see here. Spencer was fun, affordable, responsive, creative, and just plain amazing! He was out on the floor having a good time with us, knew all the songs to make everyone stay on the dance floor, and really found something for everyone. I felt like a friend who knew us really well was choosing all of the music! I am really excited to recommend him to all of my friends so that I can go to some more great weddings!

Our wedding was a blast! And I'm not just saying that because it was my own wedding. My now- husband and I fell in love with our venue, but due to its popularity, had to book our wedding on a Sunday afternoon. We were very concerned about keeping the energy levels of our guests up (with people having to go to work the next day, having attended a wedding the night before, etc)... but with Spencer behind the booth, the dance floor was never empty! Our guests were all sweaty from dancing their butts off- we have pictures and video footage to prove it! Our wedding was truly one of the best weddings I've ever been to (haha) thanks to Spencer! We were 2 hours away from our reception and we get a call from our DJ, he said his car broke down in eastern CT and there was no way he was going to make our wedding. I couldn't believe my ears! Not 'make our wedding'??? We had 350 guests to entertain!! After 10 minutes of screaming at this guy, I had to act fast. What were we going to do without entertainment for our wedding?? *(I can't say the name of the DJ company that bailed on us because of the pending lawsuit) I franticly called every DJ in Westchester. Needless to say, nobody answered at the first 15 or so companies I called. Finally, I called Turntable Events and Spencer, the owner, answered the phone. He was just packing up from an early wedding he was DJ'ing 15 minutes away. He compassionately listened to my story and offered to help us! What were the odds?? I couldn't believe it, my luck had turned around in a matter of 10 minutes. Spencer and his Turntable Events staff showed up at the Ritz Carlton (our reception hall) within 25 minutes of getting off the phone with him. What a relief !!! So I'm thinking to myself that at least we have entertainment, regardless of how good or bad it may be. To our surprise, they did a spectacular job at our wedding! Turntable Events not only saved our day, but they entertained all of our 350 guests from start to finish!! They turned out to be 10x better than the company that we originally hired would've been. We were blown away at how professional they were, especially since we booked them on such short notice. We are truly thankful for Spencer and Turntable Events for making our wedding into everything we had hoped for. They are exactly what all of the other reviews online have said about them. Fantastic in every way!

My husband and I were more nervous about the music and entertainment for our wedding than anything else. Spencer and his crew at Turntable events not only calmed out fears they were fantastic at doing exactly what we wanted. They played a wide variety of music they responded well to our guests and they played with so much energy throughout the night that my guests were still on the dance floor as the staff started to clean up!

I would highly suggest giving them if a call if a good party is what want.

Turntable Events did an amazing job at our wedding. We met with Spencer a few months in advance and told him what we were looking for from our DJ. We didn't want a cheesy DJ with a top 10 radio station persona voice handing out cheap plastic hats and toys, trying to be the center of attention. Spencer allowed us to negotiate his price by adding and removing items from their packages, which is something none of the other 6 DJ companies that we interviewed would even consider. Spencer did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception perfectly. Everything was on time, on cue and exactly how we had asked for it. Spencer and his assistant were professional at all times and interacted with the other vendors and staff seamlessly. Spencer gave us and our wedding the personal attention that we/it deserved and we could not have been happier with our decision to go with Turntable Events.

Having done all the planning for our August 2009 wedding myself, I was very specific about what I was looking for with our music, and Spencer met all of my requests. He was polite, professional, and accommodating in every sense. Nothing I requested was a problem for him, which is exactly what everyone is looking for when they are planning a wedding or event. We all have our own idea of what we want, but what you really need is a company that is more than willing to deliver and meet your specifications. If you are looking for that perfect dj, I'm confident you do not need to look further than here.

Spencer was absolutely wonderful and I'm so glad my husband and I (it's still a little weird to say that) had him dj our wedding. There are a lot of dj's out there that don't realize (or care) that the wedding's not about them. They're the ones that show up in a shiny suit and play the electric slide and the chicken dance all night. Spencer's not that kind of dj. He's low-key but still keeps the party going. He's great at reading the mood of the crowd and was able to keep everyone on the dance floor all night.
And on top of being a great dj, he made the planning so stress-free. He met with us whenever we wanted, played all the songs we requested, and just generally made the process so easy.

Spencer is awesome. A very friendly, professional young man (though not TOO young) who wasn't cheesy, intrusive, or overbearing. He found and played every single one of our many requested songs, and didn't play anything on our do not play list. He was able to get a good feel of what we would like based on our lists and somehow managed to throw in some favorites that we had forgotten to include on our must play list! We were very impressed with that. :-) He also was happy to accommodate a few different changes and special requests that I made on the fly at the reception. We were worried that no one would dance at our daytime wedding, but more people were up dancing yesterday afternoon than I have seen dancing at many evening weddings I have attended! We were thrilled with Spencer and would definitely use him again.

We live in Boston and got married in NY (where I'm from) and needed to find a DJ for our wedding but didn't have the time to make the trip to NY to meet with different companies. Naturally, we were skeptical about hiring a DJ without meeting, so we did A LOT of internet research to find the best company. After a really long search, we found Turntable Events based on the overwhelming amount of positive reviews we found online. Booking Turntable Events was the BEST decision we made about our wedding. Within minutes of the wedding reception starting, we were quickly alleviated of any concern we had about hiring a DJ we had not met in person. They were polished and professional and were a huge hit with our family and friends. (Not to mention, all of our guests were on the dance floor) They were everything I had read about them: Not over the top or cheesy, very professional, extremely entertaining and worth every penny. (we could've saved a few hundred $ going with a run-of-the-mill cheesy DJ, but it wasn't worth ruining our wedding over a few bucks) Highly recommended.

In terms of return on our investment, my wife and I were initially skeptical about a DJ. We had concerns that we'd spend too much of our budget, expect the world of the DJ, be disappointed, and feel like we did not get our money's worth. This was our mindset going into our DJ search. We called a couple places, and then ended up speaking with Spencer from Turntable Events. The process of setting up the contract was simple and quick, and Spencer was straight-forward in terms of providing information and answering interim questions.

The DJ is one of the easier things to 'manage' when planning your own wedding, a bit more set-it-and-forget-it than, say, a caterer. That being said, we spoke with Spencer a couple times prior to the wedding, ironed out the final details, and then the big day arrived.

Spencer and Shariyf were our DJ's for the evening, and they were outstanding. There was a minor hiccup regarding our introduction song. But, they quickly made up for it with their energy, song selection, and their ability to feel the mood of the wedding.

My wife's family dances, mine does not. Seeing my Dad on the dance floor to Black Eyed Peas nearly blew me away. EVERY person I've run into after my wedding who attended has told me that it was the best wedding they've been to, and Turntable Events was a huge part of that. Everyone stayed dancing, despite the mid-80 temperature of the catering hall...no one care about the heat, they were having too much of a good time.

Spencer's set-up was professional looking, added to the overall visual appeal of the reception room and the dance floor; he was helpful, touching base with either my wife or I before each major 'event' of the reception. Turntable events even received third-party compliments at my wedding, from my other vendors and from family of guests (who didn't even attend), telling me, "My son/daughter had the best time at your wedding, they danced all night and couldn't stop talking about it."

The price of the package we opted for was a little on the high-end, but with it we got two DJ's, which was a nice feature, allowing Spencer to move about the reception room and 'manage' the party while the other DJ continued the turntables operation.

If you do decide to go with Turntable Events:
- Their effort and enthusiasm will likely exceed your expectations.
- Their music will be very in tune with the party.
- They will be professional, not cheesy; they will handle traditional wedding reception activities as one your expect, or request.
- They are an excellent value.
- They throw a hell of a party.
- ASK them for a big finish, or hopefully Spence will surprise you with a big finish...my wife and I were so pleased with the last half hour of our wedding, it was unbelievable.
