Tuxedo House

We decided to rent the tuxedos from the the Tuxedo House because many of our friends had recommended them to us when we were planning our wedding. From beginning to end, everything was wonderful. They made it very easy for our out of town groomsmen and dads to get a great fit on their tuxes and even allowed them to try everything on once they got to town before the wedding. We really liked how they had all materials in the house and could pull things if sizes were incorrect instead of having to ship out. The prices were reasonable and the quality of the tuxes were great. Thanks for making the men look so handsome!

We loved the service we received at Tuxedo House. It was so nice that my fiance was able to try on a few different Tuxedo styles so we could really pick and choose what we wanted. The Professionalism, knowledge and courtesy of that staff is miles ahead of many other mens formal wear establishments in the Baltimore area.

Scott took the time to figure out what I was looking for, presented me with options that fit my budget and my tastes, and was incredibly fair. Fred and his team at Tuxedo House found us the perfect tuxs for our wedding. They were so helpful and even worked with us on pricing. Super nice staff and very flexible! The best part of Tuxedo House is that you were able to TRY ON the tuxs that you were ordering. No other tux place had tuxedos avaliable to try on; which we found to be annoying!

Tuxedo House was incredibly easy to work with. They helped us choose the rentals we were looking for. They were incredibly flexible since we didn't want jackets, had many groomsmen from out of town and had to provide most of the measurements via email, helped the out of town guys finalize their fittings the day before, and didn't charge us when one groom forgot to drop off his rental until the Tuesday afterwards. They were fun to work with and answered any questions we had. We would highly recommend them over any of the other rental places we visited.

We used Tuxedo House for the tuxes for our wedding, and wish we hadn't. They ended up getting everything right for the day of, but the road to getting there was a disaster. We had brown tuxes for our wedding party, and someone from Tuxedo House suggested the fathers have black tuxes to distinguish them from the others. I trusted their expertise and had our fathers get black tuxes. 6 months later and a day before the wedding, when my husband's father picked up his tux it a) didn't fit, and b) was brown. My father's tux was black with a brown vest and the pants were FAR too short. My brother's tux didn't fit either. I called and explained the problems to them, and they proceeded to scold me for letting my family leave their store with the wrong size and color tuxes! I was so mad. I told them that I assumed that was what we were paying them to do; they, after all, were the "professionals." They replaced my husband's father's tux with a black one and didn't give him a vest. Finally, they all had to go back their AGAIN the day of the wedding, and another Tuxedo House employee called me and explained why he thought the advice about having black tuxes for the fathers was poor advice, convinced me to go with the same color tuxes as the rest of the wedding party (happy we took this piece of advice) and fixed all of the problems. So in the end we ended up with tuxes that fit, were complete sets and were the right color, but it was way too hard to get to that point. I understand having a mishap or 2, but this was just too much. And on top of it having one of their employees make a suggestion that one of the owners then shot down 6 months later, being scolded for not doing their job for them, etc etc...far from worth it. They're a little less expensive than Men's Wearhouse but next time my husband needs a tux we'll absolutely go there, or elsewhere.

Also, one of my bridesmaid's fiance's had come to our reception from a different couple's ceremony who also got their tuxes from Tuxedo House. Apparently the guys in that poor couple's wedding showed up to pick up their tuxes a day or 2 before the wedding and they just flat out didn't have them in stock!! They had to rush around the day before the wedding and find tuxes elsewhere. I give Tuxedo House a 2.5 because they ended up delivering what we wanted, but will never go to them again.

My husband had nothing but great things to say about his experience at Tuxedo House. They went to any length necessary to make sure that that he , our fathers, and his groomsmen looked their best and were comfortable. He said that he was having a hard time figuring out what he wanted to wear, but the salesman came over and walked him through the process and made sure that he would look good in his choices. I have no complaints, he looked just like a prince!

I recommend Tuxedo House and if the need arises in the future, I will send the hubby back there again.

The Tuxedo House is a great place to rent tuxes. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They also have everything on site, which means that if something doesnt fit right the day that you go to pick it up, it can easily be fixed. They did a wonderful job and we will be going back, should we need tuxedos for any other occassion.

Tuxedo House has a tremendous inventory and was able to provide a tuxedo to fit each member of the wedding party, some of whom had last minute changes that we were happy that they could accommodate. We DID have to run up to make a last minute change because of a problem that we hadn't noticed on the ringbearer's sleeves... but that was easily remedied.

We rented a tuxedo for my husband from Tuxedo House for our wedding day on 9/20/09. Our experience with Tuxedo House was that the gentlemen running the business are professional, knowledgeable, and are concerned about the quality of services they provide. We were impressed with the inventory of tuxedos available which came in handy for fitting my husband who has broad shoulders. It was a painless process as picking out a tux took only about 15 minutes and we were on our way. When my husband picked up his tux prior to the wedding day, his tux and accessories were ready and waiting as requested. The gentlemen running the store took great efforts to ensure that my husband's tux was a perfect fit for him. I would recommend Tuxedo House to anyone due to their reasonable pricing and stellar customer service.

The people at tuxedo house were very helpful and we were very happy with the tuxedos. They did alterations on the spot and their stock is there so if there is a problem, it is very easy to fix. Highly recommend!

It was a breeze with Tuxedo house when we went to pick everything out....they were very attentive and organized, etc....but there were a few issues when a couple of the groomsmen went to pick up the tuxes....they did not fit them. So, luckily the guys tried them on in the store before leaving and the people at Tuxedo house fixed everything then and there. So, they were very responsive to the issues, but just seemed strange when the measurements were completely off.

had what i was looking for in the styles and colors i wanted. great place to go through. plus if have so many rentals the grooms is free.

Very very good and lots to choose from. Can get a Tux in a matter of hours(last minute add-on's). Made my now husband look like I had never seen him before(and probably never will). Very honest, if it is not right for your event, they will let you know but let you decide.

The men were all very happy with their tuxes. They were able to submit all their information via an online form. This was important for us since our groomsmen lived all over the country.

My husband and I started looking for tuxedos at After Hours in Towson, MD and felt as though we were bothering their staff by walking in the door. I started looking online for more resources and found Tuxedo House and after reading their online reviews, I knew this place was for us. The staff is very knowledgeable of the styles and trends and the best part is they have all of their inventory at the location. This was helpful on the day of when our out of town guests came in to pick up their tuxedos and some minor adjustments in sizing needed to be made. We worked with Austin and wouldn’t go anywhere else.
