UGA Hotel & Conference Center, at the Georgia Center

The Georgia Center created pure magic for my daughter's wedding. A special thank you to Karen and Michelle for all their hard work! We received so many wonderful comments on what a special night Lindsey and Brandon's celebration was. Thanks to the great people at the Georgia Center who gave us an incredible night to remember and one of the best times in my life! The food was spectacular and the decorations were stunning. Thank You!!!!

I appreciated the vendors response and working with us concerning our rehearsal dinner. We got moved to another room because of a bar or something being removed, but that was no problem for us and maybe a better fit. The table looked lovely. The entrees were not quite as tasty as I expected, but there was ample food for all.

My event was a rehearsal dinner. The event planner, and event designer were very professional. The staff on the night of the event were very customer oriented, professional and made every effort to help this be a successful event, which it was. We received many compliments on the food and talbe decor, etc. Everyone had something positive to say.

All staff at the Georgia Center were attentive and accommodating to evey need we expressed. They were thorough and proactive helping us enjoy a stress-free evening! As always, the food was delicious! The event managment staff assisted us in making the initial arrangements and worked with us through the final moments. It was a wonderful evening! I will look to the Ga Ctr for future events and recommend them to others.

We were very pleased with all of the services that we received at The Georgia Center. The food was very good. The staff was always helpful and pleasant, and the facilities were very comfortable and convenient.

This was my second rehearsal dinner event at the GA Center, and I could NOT have been more pleased with the food, service, courtesy, and attention to detail all GA Center staff gave me. I have one son left, and the GA Center will be my pick of places!

Great food and great service made for an unbelievable and unforgettable reception!

I was married on December 22, 2006 in Athens and had my reception at the Georgia Center. From the beginning, the Georgia Center event coordinators were amazing to work with. We originally wanted to have our reception (of about 300 guests) in the ballroom and were ready to sign the contract. The coordinator had to call us back that afternoon with the (at the time) disappointing news that the ballroom would be undergoing renovations the day of our wedding. She tried her best for them to push the renovations back a few weeks, but the schedules were set with the builders/renovators. However, they were willing to accommodate my wedding party and give us the larger ballroom package at the lower lobby price. In addition, they were able to reassure me that it would still be wonderful. At the end, I think that I enjoyed the reception in the lobby area even more than I would have in the ballroom! The twinkle lights outside of the glass were beautiful!

The Georgia Center Hotel and Conference Center stayed open just for my wedding, whereas normally they would have been closed for Christmas break. The staff, servers, etc. were wonderful to work with, and we have recommended the Georgia Center to many of our friends.
