Reviews for ULC.org
My husband and I are not very religious, and we knew we wanted an outdoor wedding. We'd seen the episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. where Joey married Monica & Chandler, and we realized that we wanted our old roommate to marry us! We asked her to get ordained at ULC.org, and she said it was very easy. 10 minutes later, she was ready to marry us. Now she's performed 3 weddings! This is a great alternative if you don't have an attachement to a church or minister.
I'm always happy to go to a wedding that has a ULC officiant. At my event, it was my best friend. She did a wonderful ceremony, and the materials that both of have received as ministers of organization helped us considerably.
You should know that ulc.org is no longer sanctioned by the Universal Life Church. The site was taken over by another entity, though it continues to deceive visitors into believing it is a ULC site. It is NOT, and any "ordinations" obtained through that site will not be sanctioned or recognized by the church, and have already been rejected in some states
To become ordained with the real Universal Life Church, visit ulc.net which is an official and authorized site of the Universal Life Church.
Description of ULC.org
We strongly believe in the rights of all people to practice their beliefs, regardless of what those beliefs are, as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others and are within the law.
We, ordain persons who are totally non-religious or even anti-religious. We are looking to change negative perception of religion while encouraging people to fearlessly state their religious beliefs, even if the only thing that a person can say is that he or she does not have any beliefs. This church seeks to fulfill the spiritual needs of as many different groups as we can by offering a wide variety of services and information.
Anyone can get ordained to be a minister for free!
The above information is from ULC's website.
