Ulysses Photography

Not only is this husband and wife team a pair of gifted photographers, there are sweet and special people. From day one we knew Ulysses and Jenni were "it" and we wanted them for our wedding, but beyond that, they captured the happiness and joy in every moment from getting ready, to the ceremony to the intimate first dance. Not only were the hundreds of pictures amazing (there was not a single bad picture!), but the album is breathtaking. Ulysses and his wife, Jenni, are amazing! We met them at a friend's wedding and instantly hit if off. They are an absolute pleasure to work with! Their pictures were really able to capture every moment and all the emotions of the day. We gave them a minimal list of must take shots, and they took it from there. We can honestly say that there isn't a single picture we wish they had taken that wasn't included in our gallery. They took about 750 pictures of our wedding day (and there isn't a single bad one) -- each one is so creative and captures a completely different angle/emotion/etc. The hardest part was narrowing down which pictures to include in our album.

Since our initial review, we've seen our wedding album layout, and have been thrilled with their amazing editing (although the pictures were so great, that we didn't think they even needed to be edited) and layout. We can't wait to receive what we know will be a gorgeous album. Jenni and Ulysses were our favorite vendors and we highly recommend them!

Jenni and Ulysses did an AMAZING job! It has been a year since our wedding and i look at our pictures everyday with amazement. They caught every ounce of emotion from our day and my husband and I are so thankful for that. When i look at the album it is like i am there all over again and it puts a huge smile on my face. I strongly recommend them to everyone I know, they are such warm kind friendly people and so easy to work with! I can't wait for the babies to come so we can do our maternity and baby pictures with them!

Your wedding is one of the most important times of your life, and it FLIES by so fast! The only thing your left with are memories and pictures, so make sure you choose right! Ulysses definitely gets our choice as the very best we know!

Jenni and Ulysses are a fabulous team. From the moment that we met them, we knew that they were going to be our photographers. Their pictures truly caught the essence of our special day. We were so grateful that we were able to have them share in our special day.

Ulysses Photography was worth every penny. Photography was very important to me (as with most brides) and I wanted the best, and that is what I got. Jenni and Ulysses made my husband and I feel comfortable every time we took pictures. It was more like spending time with good friends. They even went above and beyond our wedding pictures- they came do to a photo shoot on our Honeymoon, and the pictures came out amazing. Emails and phone calls were all answered promptly. And of course, the final product was amazing. I gave them free reign on which pictures to put in our album, and they told the story of our wedding perfectly. I was THRILLED with every aspect of Ulysses photography, from start to finish. I would recommend them to everyone!

A picture is worth a thousand words, and having a beautiful wedding album full of pictures of that wonderful day is priceless! We can't thank Ulysses and Jenni enough for capturing not only the beauty, but also the emotion of that day in the most creative and unique way. Ulysses Photography defintely made our Wedding Day the best it could ever be. Words cannot decribe how thankful we are that we choose Ulysses Photography. We loved working with Jenni and Ulysses. They managed to be both professional and fun throughout the whole process. During our engagement, they came up to Boston on a stop over from a family trip just to do our photo shoot on a beach near home. Their imagination and creativity made our wedding shots unique and spectacular. Our families are still talking about how great our photographers were and gawking over our album. Overall, they were more than we could have ever hoped for in photographers and we plan on doing any future shots with them.

Jennni & Ulysses were absolutely awesome! Our wedding day went perfectly...and although many of our vendors were great...nothing compared to these two!!! We have got our albums already and absolutely love them!!!! It almost made me cry! I felt like i was back on Aug 8th!!! And I love the DVD...the music they chose was perfect! The layout of the album is so good...it just tells the story of the day so well. We chose the magazine layout and I have honestly never seen anything like it before!! Alot of my friends told me I'd be sorry if I didn't have a video...but I really am not! The pictures are so good they just speak for themselves! My friends all told me too that my face would hurt from smiling at the end of the day...but it didn't because I was just having so much fun, and was so relaxed...and that was all thanks to Jenni & Ulysses!!!

If I could plan my wedding again I would re-pick Ulysses Photography one hundred times over. Jenni and Ulysses are such wonderful people that make taking pictures feel fun and natural. Not only are they amazing photographers, they made my wedding day run smoothly because of their organization, professionalism, and sincere happiness to be a part of the day. We hope to use them in the future for any photography needs and we hope to stay in touch with them because they make you feel like a part of their family. This is what we wrote to them after we received our wedding albums (extremely quickly after our wedding):

Ulysses and Jenni were the "highlight" of our wedding. We could not have asked for a better couple to photograph the happiest day of our lives. Their interaction with each other and with us made the entire process flawless.

We have received our albums and they were everything we could have imagined and more. Top notch quality and absolutely perfect. Our family and friends were impressed with their work. Once looking at the album, they then remembered Ulysses on the floor taking photos! Now they know why he was discreetly laying upside down, for the perfect picture, which turned into the perfect album telling the story of our day!

I am sincerely sad that our wedding is over, but plan on coming up with a very good reason to be photographed again by the both of them. Not only were they our photographers, but we have made great friends.

Ulysses and Jenni captured every special moment of our wedding. They took pictures when we didn’t even know they were there. We chose not to have a videographer but with the photos that Ulysses and Jenni took and the amazing album they put together for us we will never regret our decision. Six months later people are still complementing our pictures and what an amazing job the photographers did.

Jenni and Ulysses were simply amazing. From the engagement session to the final album they were accomodating, understanding and, most importantly, creative and just so talented! I cannot stop getting emails/calls/texts about how amazing the pictures were. Of all my vendors, wedding planner included, they were by far the thing I was the happiest with when looking back at our wedding. They are worth every last penny and more! These pictures are just breathtaking and are very special to us and will continue to be throughout our lives. We ordered an amazing canvas that we posted above our bed and every bride that has seen it has tried to recreate someway or another and they just do not come close. I can't say enough about Jenni and Ulysses- if you use them as your photographers- you will be happy. I also hear stories from friends who haven't gotten their pictures from last year- our pictures were ready so we could look them over on our honeymoon on the beach! And our albums were finished so fast- I couldn't have asked for more!

Ulysses and Jenni were a perfect fit from the first day we met them right to our wedding day. We could not have asked for a more unique, easy going, creative, and fun couple to capture all our memories. This couple works very well together as a professional team. They use all their skills to create the best work possible and we would never have changed one thing starting with our engagement session. The wedding packages are very reasonable in price and include nothing but high quality products.

Ulysses and Jennie are amazing. They are an awesome couple and from the first day we met them we felt like we have known them forever. They are warm hearted and their love for photography shows through all of their work. Throughout the day of our wedding I was never annoyed at them...I know that is a #1 complaint from brides and grooms there photographers are annoying and pushy....but not us. I felt like they were our friends taking pictures of us and capturing our day. When we received our album it was breathtaking. The pictures, the design and the artsy look was amazing!!!!!!!! I recommend them to everyone. Ulysses and Jennie are different and that's what we loved. Our album and the pictures that we purchased looks like something that you see in magazines. They have an amazing love for each other and for Photography which truly comes through and makes their pictures alive.

Ulysses was by far the most amazing part of our wedding day. They captured every moment and then some! I never really cared for looking at myself in pictures, however, I can never get enough of myself through their photos. They are two amazing people who have passion for one another, and it shows in their work. Picking them was the easiest part of our wedding planning. They are on top of things at all times. You write, the write back, you call, they answer. They are very professional in their own way. You don't feel as though they are too professional because they know how to let you get loose and be yourself around them. If you're looking for a photographer, I couldn't imagine you choosing other people. Everything about them is remarkable.

One word to describe Ulysses Photography would be INCREDIBLE. Jenni and Ulysses are what every married couple should strive to be "an amazing team" who by far are the main reason why my family and I will forever remember every precious detail of my wedding day. From the moment my husband and I met them we knew they were the ones for us. Our engagement session (one year prior to our wedding) was the first time we were ever shot professionally and they made us feel on top of the world, the wedding day was 75,000 times more superb. They are kind, they are honest, they are professional and they made sure our wedding went as smoothly as possible. Their technique is so wonderful and on point that I am able to look through my pictures and relive every moment like it was happening all over again...tears and all. I highly recommend them and look foward to working with them again in the future.

Jenni and Ulysses were absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I absolutely loved working with them, and would in a heart beat recommend them to anyone who wants to make sure they capture every important moment on their big day. Their personalities made our engagement session and our wedding day an absolute pleasure, where they left a lasting impression on both of us, our families and guests. Their artistic aproach was unbelievable and the sneak peaks they gave us on our day made us anticipate what photos they had and would take. We looked through our online gallery while we were on our honeymoon and it felt like we were reliving our wedding day over again. We cried, and laughed, and sat their wondering how we would ever choose our photos for our album. The online gallery allowed our family members to pick and choose photographs for themselves and was a great convenience. A surprise for us was the book of proofs we received rather quickly, which allowed us to sort out our final decisions for our album, and the professionalism and prompt contacts reassured us that we would receive exactly what we anticipated. I cannot say enough about Jenni and Ulysses, and while we have seen a preview of our wedding album, we cannot wait to see the final product shipped to us from Italy. They were definitely a great choice!!

You couldn't ask for better photographers! Not only do they take amazing pictures & get the proofs back to you amazingly quick BUT the two of them have become like family to us. You will not meet 2 more talented, genuine people. Though we went way over our budget for the photography, it was WORTH every dollar. They have continued to be our family photographer and chronicled the birth of my son through his first birthday. These are photographers that are really indescribable. Take a look at their pictures...thats all it took for my husband (a very "thrifty" guy). When we left their studio, he said, "I don't care how much they cost, we need them."
Those words have never crossed his lips again and more importantly, he is totally happy with our wedding album. Amazing amazing amazing work...and people!

Where to start. We have to be honest, we met with you on a whim. We were working with a budget, as most engaged couples are, and knew your work was out of our price range. But we were blown away by the originality of your website and felt so comfortable with you after our initial conversation, we decided we would meet with you. You basically had us at hello!

There are so many components to planning a wedding, I guess at first we didn’t realize how important the photography is. I realize now that it is because all of the photography we had seen prior to your work had been average and ordinary. Your talent is beyond amazing and your professionalism has been truly remarkable. You put us at ease throughout the day and in many ways it set the tone for the whole event.

We couldn’t believe that as little as we saw you during the excitement of our wedding day- you caught everything! Were you wearing camo? HI!! We just received the prints from the wedding and they are gorgeous!! I am still amazed at how you both allowed us to enjoy each moment of the day.

From the minute we first saw our daughter dressed in her wedding gown through the entire ceremony and reception, you both seemed to be enjoying the day as well; and this made us all so comfortable …we hardly noticed you taking pictures.

I distributed many of your business cards after the wedding because I was so pleased with every detail and so impressed with how your pleasant and happy attitude would not allow any of us to feel rushed or stressed in any way. My florist delivered an arrangement to our home the next day on her way to another wedding and I gave her a handful of your cards.

AND of course the pictures at end of the day on the Long Island Sound were unbelieveable!!!! WOW! Thank you so very much for making our daughter’s wedding so memorable! You are both wonderful artists!

Hi Guys!

Oh my God!! We are so enjoying our album!!! It came out perfect!!! As a matter of fact Glenn doesn’t want anyone even to touch it… LOL He wears the white gloves that were enclosed in the box whenever we take it out to look at it. Oh, and it must stay in its box…safe and sound… LOL

Everything was so nice, the album, mini album, the CD disc and the gloves are such a nice unexpected touch. We have never seen that before. We recommend you to everyone we encounter, not only for weddings, but anything, pregnancy photos, family, birthdays, etc… We know it is so worth it and we truly cant wait till we can see you again and have you do what you do so well… photograph! And of course for the 2ND best thing about you both… The pure pleasure of your company, conversation and insight on anything and everything!! Hello, hello, hello!!! It’s so funny not to have spoken with you guys in a while since when we were in wedding mode. We were in constant communication!!! We just wanted to say….WOW!!!! Our album is absolutely AMAZING!!!! We LOVE it!!! You captured our day like we only could have imagined in our dreams!!! The story it told, the life in every picture…absolutely breathtaking!! Jenni & Ulysses-

I just saw the pictures of Annie and Jason's wedding. What can I say but WOW. You both are the most phenomenal photographers I have ever seen. As Greg and I approach our one year anniversary (can you believe it??), I still get emotional when I look at our fabulous album and relive one of the most magical and perfect days of our lives. When I open the album the emotions flood back like we are doing it all over again. I wish we could because we had such a great time! I keep trying to think of what Greg and I could do next to be able to have you both join and capture the moments of our lives as you did our wedding.

I just wanted to drop you both a note to say hi, as we approach our anniversary and wanted you to know how much your work has touched us. When we first met I remember telling you when asked what we were looking for in a photographer was to have someone capture the emotion of the day.
