Rev. Kay was amazing. My now husband and I had plans to marry in NYC on the weekend thot hurricane Sandy decided to strike the region. Well, thot was scratched to say the least. After traveling nearly 1000 miles, to find all government offices closed, we were at a loss. So, we decided to try Hartford. To our dismay, when we arrived in Hartford, all offices were closed there as well. We stayed the night there, in hopes that the following day we could try again, and once again a barrier tried to prohibit our union. All offices remained closed. I had taken an extended weekend off of work, and now we were down to the ticking of the last minutes. My boss was impatient, as i am a gm in a restaurant, and he stated i was expected to return as scheduled. Our happiness was beginning to deminish, as our stress levels rose. To think that we would have to return unmarried was, to say the least, disheartening. We began to look for other options, as failure in our mission to marry was not an option. We called the Albany NY clerks office to find they were up and going. Our ray of light again began to break up the dark clouds building around our situation. We they needed an officiant. I searched and and called, to find no help. I then had the blessing of reaching the beautiful Rev. Kay. She was all about making our plans a sucess. She worked with us throughout the day as we travesead, again, from Hartford to Albany, got our license, and a judicial waiver to skip the 24 hr wait because of Sandy altering our plans. She made herself available to our ever question, which eventually led us to her Own home, where her husband even waited to provide a witness If needed, and performed our ceremony in a very loving manner. She saved our day, and went far out of her way to marke sure it happened. Thank YOU reverend, You are the best. May You and yours have a blessed life!

Rev. Kay was able to give us an elopement fitting into our very tight schedule after my (surreptitiously long-planned) surprise proposal. My (now) wife was overjoyed!!! I am very grateful for her help with my romantic ploy.

Rev Kay officiated our wedding this past summer. She worked with us to create a personalized interfaith ceremony. She had a variety of resources and readings to share with us then incorporated our own ideas to customize the perfect ceremony. Our families commented that it was that it was one of the nicest wedding ceremonies they have attended. We highly recommend Rev Kay as a wedding officiant.

Rev. Kay made our vision come true for our ceremony. She had a lot of suggestions for the wedding layout/script, but was not pushy in the least, and really let our vision come to life. She has a calming and accepting energy about her that really made the day smooth. She was also very flexible. I was an out-of-state bride and she made it easy to communicate and work out all the details from afar. She even met me at a diner when I was home for only a couple days before the wedding. I recommend Rev. Kay for anyone who wants a calm and open wedding where you own vision comes to life.

We highly recommend Rev. Kay as a officiant for your wedding. As you are well aware planning a wedding and making all the preparations is a huge task. When it came the details and contents of the ceremony we were not sure what to do. That is until we contacted Rev. Kay. She gave us many options on every aspect of the ceremony itself. It was wonderful to have all the information needed and options as to how we would like the flow of it go. She was always available for questions and prompt with her responses. She is very nice and has a wonderful glowing personality and we were lucky to have her as our officiant for our wedding.

Reverend Kay performed above and beyond our (already high) expectations. Rev. Kay was accommodating in all steps of the process, even facilitating a Skype chat to work out some of the details. She kindly provided a base ceremony and revised and introduced other materials as our decisions took shape. It was a special day for both of us and our families and Reverend Kay's guidance to help shape a non-denominational ceremony that fit our expectations added to it all. The only downside is that I expect to get married only once, otherwise I'd glady do business with Rev. Kay in future and wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone in the area.

I cannot imagine a better officiant. She made our special day an even more joyful experience. We are an interracial couple (Chinese [from mainland China] and American.) She respected both of our cultures by bridging our two traditions together in a deeply moving ceremony. She offered guidance and was wonderful in listening and weaving together a personalized service. We highly recommend her.

What a beautiful wedding ceremony Rev. Lisa Kay fashioned personally for us. In our case- her demeanor gave us instant comfort as we began planning a short notice (2 weeks) wedding event with family and friends. The ideas she offered to us in writing and verbally, over the phone and in-person during our pre-event meeting. were so helpful and meaningful. The fact that Rev. Kay even allowed us to select her celebrant "outfit" for the wedding night further illustrates how extremely accommodating she was. Our personal vows along with the symbolic rose giving ceremony ( a special idea you Rev. Kay offered to us ) will always remain as loving, beautiful memories for us throughout our many future years together as married husbands. Family members and guests all complimented on the personal, heart-felt ceremony and everyone was delighted that she was able to remain with us through the evening.

The Rev. is a unique woman with a committed background. Few are the people in this world that would give of their heart the way that she did for us on our wedding day. She truly is a gift and any future bride/groom would be blessed to have her present at their ceremony.
