Damian is GREAT! My husband and I honestly could not have asked for a better ceremony, thanks to Damian. From the very first day I met him, I knew he would make our day special. He spent a great deal of time with us, just getting to know us and making sure our ceremony was exactly the way we wanted it. He made sure our special day was just that, and he did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend Damian; he's GREAT at what he does!

Damian was great! My husband and I are so glad he was our wedding officiant. He made our ceremony fun and upbeat which is exactly what we wanted. We also took the Marriage Foundations classes with him. I highly recommend these! They were fun and taught us a lot. Damian was very flexible when scheduling the sessions and when helping plan our ceremony. This was one part of the wedding planning I did not have to stress about!

Damian was so perfect for our wedding! Once we found out my fiance had gotten his visa to come here, we had only 6 weeks to plan everything. Luckily I had met with Damian months before and when I called him he was already booked with two other weddings BUT we did an early wedding at a park and he worked us in. I was so excited because I knew he was the perfect person to marry us. I was not a member of any church and my husband moved here from Kenya so we had not established any relationship with a church or pastor BUT definately wanted to involve christian ideas and aspects of our wedding ceremony. He provided as many drafts as we needed and asked us to collaborate with him in order to make the ceremony ours. He encouraged us to pick out reading and include personal statements to personalize everything. On the day of, he was so great! All of our guests commented on how great the ceremony was, how they could hear him at the park, and how they really enjoyed what Damian had to say. He also offers marriage coaching. We completed the 3 class session and it was so helpful! Truely providing us tools for everlasting love.

Damian was a really great officiant. He kept in contact always. He was always quick to respond to phone calls or emails. He provided great marriage classes that I would recommend to others. Although he can get a little expensive, I think that it was worth it. He was able to speak at our ceremony without a microphone, and although it was loud to us, everyone complimented him that they were glad they were able to hear him even in the back.

Damian was great! From our first consultation Damian was friendly and always made himself available. We requested a non-religious ceremony and he honored all of our wishes. Damian even called during the week before our wedding to ensure everything was going well with our other vendors and offered his assistance! The dress rehearsal went amazingly well and we were completely prepared for the big day. Not to mention he even let my wife pick out his tie! We highly recommend Damian!

Damian is an officiant that I will recommend to anyone getting married. Before the wedding we chose to attend a series of premarital lessons led by Damian. Those sessions allowed my husband and I to become even more sure and comfortable with the decisions we were making. We came across Damian's info on our 'preferred vendor' list at our ceremony site. After first meeting with him, we decided to use him for both our wedding ceremony and attend his Marriage Foundations pre-marital counseling classes. We were so pleased with everything he did for us along the way and are definitely glad we found him!

Damian took the time and interest to truly get to know us as individuals and as a couple. He helped my husband and I customize our wedding ceremony vows and make it personal and heartfelt. We had a Christian service, but also wanted it to be light and fun. Many of our family members mentioned how beautiful the ceremony was, how personal it was... especially with Damian's personality! He also gave us additional tips, kept us stress-free, worked well with our other vendors and even provided us with pictures from our rehearsal. My husband and I got married on July 9th of this year. Damian was our officiant, and we COULDN'T have asked for a better service!! We even had complications with family not being at the cerimony on time, and he waited for an additional 40 mins till they arrived! He did an AMAZING job! He was fun, up-beat, everything we wanted and more!

Damian was very easy to work with. He wanted to tailor the ceremony to what we wanted and did not impose his own judgement. He has a pleasant easy going personality that put an ease on us. Damian King was absolutely wonderful! He let us personalize our ceremony just as we wanted to and we received so many compliments on how "us" the ceremony was. Also, Damian has a great speaking voice and even the people at the back of our outdoor space could hear him. He was terrific at the rehearsal dinner too and gave great pointers to the bridesmaids about how to hold their bouquets and to the groomsman about how to stand. He even made sure the maid of honor knew to straighten out my train every time I moved. He brought his daughter to the rehearsal and she took pictures and Damian sent us a CD of the pictures which was great to have, because we had completely forgotten to bring our cameras! Damian was great! He was the first and only officiant that we looked at for our wedding. He made us feel extremely comfortable and was open to all of our ideas. He did not try to push anything on us but would offer great suggestions. He responded quickly to emails and was very flexible. During our ceremony, Damian made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Damian was great he understood our needs before, during, and after the ceremony. All of our guests commented on how great the ceremony was it was funny, romantic, and not too long. Ben and I wanted a short ceremony, and I was so happy Damian understood our feelings on the ceremony. Another special touch that really made the wedding day go smoothly was, Damian came in about a half hour before the ceremony to see how I was doing, and asked if I had any question about the ceremony. He helped us to create a ceremony that was personalized and memorable, and his engaging personality helped put us at ease. A couple of weeks prior to the wedding, he called to check in on us, making sure our planning was going well. Damian did an amazing job with following up with me prior to the wedding, especially since I was planning thousands of miles away. Once we met in person for the first time at the rehearsal, he was friendly and thorough. During the actual ceremony my husband began to get emotional, which was unexpected by us all even, Justin (my husband). Damian was great at maintaining his professional stature while bringing in the humor when needed and appropriate. :0) He also respects timing, in a way that allows the couple to savor the moments if they so desire. We were disappointed when we learned that both our church and our pastor were unavailable for us on our wedding day. We did our research and found Damian. As soon as we met with him, we were put at ease that we could have a very personal ceremony that incorporated the religious aspects we wanted, and that everyone would be able to hear it! Damian was genuinely interested in making our ceremony everything we hoped it would be. He effectively ran our rehearsal, and made himself available to us as needed. Of all the various parts of our day, we received the most gushing compliments on the ceremony. It was a wonderful experience that I will always keep with me, and that is because we had Damian as our guide. I cannot wait to see the video!

I don't even know where to start! Damian is just a great guy. He listens to what you want, what your thoughts are and is open to providing you the ceremony that you want.
Prior to the ceremony Damian came and visited me right before the wedding. He is always so calm and relaxed and never got flustered if I was being pulled in twenty directions. His calm personality makes you feel calm and calms you down. For me that was a great thing. He is very detailed, which is great because you know there will not be surprises. Throughout the ceremony calming words as "You are doing fine" or "Good Job" was so helpful. Damian was absolutely wonderful, and we loved his approach. He really took the time to get to know us individually and as a couple. He included personalized statements for free. This really made a difference in our ceremony and made it feel like "ours" and not generic. He allowed us to edit and re-edit what was said word for word without any problems. We wound up having to make a change the day of and he rolled with the punches and didn't miss a beat. He was very enthusiastic up in front of all our guests, and genuinely loves what he does.

Damian gave us the absolute perfect outdoor fall wedding, it was exactly what we were looking for. He made everything go together just as we had pictured. Damian was able to help us with ideas when we were unsure about things while still keeping the ceremony simple the way we wanted. He was professional and friendly at all times. What an amazing job Damian did for our ceremony in August! He was calm and totally relaxed when our outdoor OSU ceremony turned rainy and had to change location midway through! My husband and I were so happy to have such a personalized service and it our guests all commented on how intimate and personalized the ceremony was. It was a beautiful ceremony, exactly what we wanted.

Damian was great! We were looking for a fairly traditional ceremony, and Damian provided a basic format that we were able to customize as much as we wanted.

At the rehearsal, Damian gave the wedding party instructions on timing for the processional/recessional, which was wonderful since I didn't have a wedding coordinator to tell everyone what to do. He also gave the wedding party good instructions on detail things, like how to hold their hands so the pictures looked cohesive, etc.

Throughout the entire process, from when we first met with Damian to the wedding itself, Damian exhibited the kind of professionalism, confidence, and caring that let us know our wedding was in very good hands.

Most of all, Damian was very kind and gracious towards everyone involved in the wedding, including our families and our guests. Everyone said the ceremony was beautiful!

Damian was completely professional and very warm and comforting for certain moments when I, as the bride, wanted to have a melt down. A couple of those moments were the rehearsal. My husbands family are a little hard to control when they get together as far as noise and paying attention to direction. Damian saw that I was going to get upset very soon and came over to talk to me and calm me down and let me know that everything was going to be fine. On the actual wedding day, our flowers did not arrive on time delaying our wedding a half an hour. He knew I was going to be upset about that and also gave me comforting words. He is an incredible man and a wonderful officiant. The words he has to say about the two of you on your special day makes it seem like he has known the two of you for as long as you have known each other. We HIGHLY recommend him. Because he is so easy to talk to, my husband and I have also discussed that if there is ever a time when we need someone to talk to during the course of our marriage he will be the one we go to first.

Damian is wonderful to work with. He made my fiance (now husband) and I very comfortable in every encounter we had with him. Picking who you want as the officiant of your wedding is a big decision. It is crucial that you feel comfortable with the person and trust them to help lead you through the marriage process, from planning the ceremony wording to actually saying "I Do". Damian walked us through the steps in a very caring and receptive way. He took the time to listen to what WE wanted. Nothing was pushed on us in any way, and he offered lots of great ideas. Damian was wonderful, I really can not say enough, about how much he helped us! From our first consultations to after the ceremony he was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. At our first meeting he took “all the time necessary” to understand who we were and what we were looking for. From that point on his great personality, sense of humor and diverse spiritual back ground made him the perfect choice for us! My wife and I are from Denver and we were getting married in Ohio, so finding a minister to fit our needs was like finding a needle in a haystack. We were so lucky to find Damian, he not only met our needs he exceeded them! From the beginning he was very helpful and organized. He made sure that we were comfortable with all of the wording and order of the ceremony. We communicated all of our concerns and desires for our ceremony, he implemented them perfectly. We knew we would have Damian as our officiant after our first meeting, he has tremendous passion and is professional from start to finish. Surprisingly Damian's little 101 section calmed us down from all the wedding planning stress and got us focus back to the big picture.

Damian was amazing to work with -- we highly recommend him! We found Damian after a bad run-in with another officiant whose only concern was selling us the "platinum experience" and didn't listen to what we wanted. Damian was the complete opposite! He has a simple, easy-to-understand method and is very organized and open to what the couple wants. He tailored our ceremony to fit us perfectly, and let us personalize it however we wanted! We were blown away by Damian's openness, flexibility, and kindness. Great communication -- emails were always returned within a couple of hours. We had a very simple and small beautiful wedding and part of its beauty was the service Damian provided. Not only he was great at accommodating his time to our needs (on a very short notice and no time for rehearsal) but he also was very professional and helpful. We met with him initially to discuss our ceremony details, and he was patient, friendly, organized and offered a variety of suggestions. We worked on the entire script of the ceremony together and knew exactly what would be said and when, and he also instructed us on how to get the license and our certified marriage abstract afterward.

Damian offered ideas of how to make our ceremony special for us. On the day of the wedding he showed up with plenty of time to go over the last details, looked professional, and delivered the ceremony perfectly. Mostly of our guest were bilingual and since some of our closest family members were not able to come to our wedding, he even offered to dedicate a small part of it in Spanish to honor them!! Our guests, our families, and even us were very impressed with his language skills … his pronunciation and eloquence in Spanish was almost perfect and we’re very happy and grateful for that! The fact that we got to share our special moment with our families was priceless thanks to Damian!

All our guests were not only impressed with his way of conducting the whole ceremony (it was so well-written), but also his energy and enthusiasm made us both feel so comfortable and happy while saying our “I do’s”. We’re so glad we contacted him and everybody commented on what a wonderful ceremony we had! Damian made it memorable, personalized and unique. We gladly recommend him to anyone!

Damian was a fantastic officiant. He works through United Marriage Services, and I found him through my venue's website (which was Darby House in Galloway Ohio.) He was really friendly when we first met, and more then willing to give my husband and I the wedding we wanted. We had a bit of an incident with the best man at the wedding, but Damian was awesome at making sure he felt better and when we re-started the wedding he was really comfortable and professional...he even allowed my husband and I to be a little silly during the ceremony which was fantastic. Definitely give Damian a call, he's a great guy to work with and I wouldn't have chosen anyone different!

Damian was a wonderful officiant! We really enjoyed working with him. Our rehearsal went super smooth and quick. He really knows what he is doing and does a great job at it. Our ceremony went amazing. Our guests even commented on how well he did. I really wanted a wine ceremony and even though Damian hadn't done that before, he was open to it and it turned out beautifully. Highly recommend Damian

If you want a ceremony that is tailored just to you and your future spouse than Damian is your man! Damian tailors each ceremony to the couple and truely personalizes the whole thing. I know that my ceremony was entirely different from everyone elses. I also loved how my fiance and I had each written what we loved about each other in an email to Damian and he included that in our ceremony. Another great bonus is that he has a booming voice so no microphone is needed to ruin your wedding pictures.

Damian has been the officiant at several weddings where I provided harp music. He always greets me and goes over any detail necessary. He is engaging, personable, and adds a touch of humanness and humor to every ceremony, allowing all to relax, enjoy the wedding and know that an important and special event is about to take place.
