Unveil Wedding Photography is a company that is very professional and helpful. Their website is very informative and easy to use (I am always on there looking at new slide shows of different weddings) and JD and his assistants are easy to work with! I chose JD because it was very important to me to have stylish contemporary pictures for my wedding. I am very happy with the way my pictures turned out. They are interesting, varied and have beautiful composition. The result was far above and beyond typical stagey wedding photography. On the day of my wedding, JD was easy-going but professional and really put me and my family at ease. The way he shoots is very non-intrusive and he caught a lot of beautiful, candid moments. He is a pleasure to deal with and worth way more than he charges. You won't be disappointed :)

We had an amazing experience with unveil weddings. Our wedding was 2 months ago and we are still being taken care of them with advice on photo choices and where to print as well as having a gorgeous leather bound photo book made. We had hundreds of unique photos to choose from. We wanted untraditional wedding photos (not the usual everybody line up) and we got the most creative and fabulous photos you will ever see. People are still raving about the photography and the personalness the photographers brought to the day!

We found that JD captured the emotion of our wedding day in a very interesting way. He used the features of the venue and the light to create many very beautiful shots. He arrived early and ready to go, and we received our prints by the time we got back from the honeymoon! Mr. JD Howell.. where do I begin gushing? This man is by all meaning, a true and talented artist. I have had the honour and privilege of working with him several times now and I have to say, he is simply genius. He is one of coolest people I know, yes I just said cool. He is, and it works. I have never met another photographer that has made me feel more calm, relaxed and at ease and so as a result he is able to evoke sexy, beautiful confidence.. he works magic like no other. Capturing sweetness and purity, desire and lust, love and soul, comedy, sorrow, and beauty.. especially where you wouldn't believe there was any.

Our most recent project together was my wedding. I left it all in his hands. I didn't worry one bit! I knew I was well taken care of. His level of professionalism is exceptional. You can hand over to him all your trust and I promise you will not be disappointed. He is incredibly discreet. He finds such unique ways to stay removed from the moment as to not tarnish it so it can be captured in all it's honesty. Trust me, you will look back at your stunning photos and wonder "how did he get that? how did he do that? I didn't even know he was there!" I'm telling you he is not like any other wedding photographer. Anything you want you got it, but if you leave the art to the artist you will be rewarded in ways you can't even imagine. It's a hard thing to come up with words of thanks. How can you thank someone for such a service? These are the moments of your life that are priceless.. thank you JD for allowing me to forever remember the moments of that day. All those candid shots, unposed, unrealized, and just so true, all those moments that without you would have gone uncaught and over time lost in the mind and forgotten.

JD and his assistants were absolutely wonderful on my wedding day, they have an eye for detail and caught every single emotion on our wedding day. I have received one comment after the next that his photographs look like they're out of a magazine spread they are so beautiful....he is one talented guy and I would without a doubt recommend him for your wedding day, event, etc.

JD made things simple. In an industry where packages are over-complicated, you often feel like you are being charged double as soon as you say wedding, or people don't live up to what they say they can do for you, simple was very welcomed.

The one thing that was not simple however, were the beautiful images that JD and Bobby produced. They both have an eye for colour and detail that captured our day through a lens that was a perfect reflection of us. And the best part, you hardly knew they were there! We knew we didn't want the traditional wedding shots. Instead, we were so happy to see people caught in candid moments with real emotions; when the day goes by so quickly and you feel like you can't spend enough time with all of your guests, our pictures are truly treasured.

I have recommended JD to many friends who are getting married and will continue to do so. We have had so many compliments on our photos that his work really speaks for itself!

Very unique photography

Unveil shot our wedding like it was an editorial for Vogue or GQ, and we couldn't be happier with the pictures. JD was so professional and unobtrusive that we didn't even realize he was snapping pictures and the resulting candid shots are so gorgeous; filled with emotion and light. Every photo is stunning!
I want to mention to other gay couples out there that JD and the unveil team were very sensitive to our needs and those of our family and guests. They helped to get everyone participating and captured the fun and love in every frame.

Unveil is a very creative photography team who captures some absolutely fantastic candid photos that you would never think of. They were there on time for every meeting we had with them, and there was never anything to worry about. The only I wish I have is that I made a point to get more specific family line up photos done. Unveil goes for the great shots you can't plan or set up but you need to indicate the line ups. Overall they were fantastic and I would use them again.

We contracted with JD Howell and unveil to photograph our wedding. We found JD to be an exceptional photographer and a pleasure to work with.
