Jade and Tim did the photography for our October 2012 wedding at Locust Grove. I'm not even sure where to begin; they're the best! From the first minute we met Jade, I knew Uplift was our ideal photographer. And we were right! We did an engagement session with them over the summer; we gave them a description of our ideal setting and Jade suggested an amazing location. She is wonderful to work with- both at our engagement session and our wedding, I felt more like we were just hanging out with our friends (who happened to have HUGE cameras) than like we were in all-day photo sessions. They're very comfortable, accommodating, fun, and creative. Our pictures are AMAZING! I have no idea how I will pick from all of them to create an album; they're all great! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to veer away from the very traditional wedding photos- Uplift is fun, edgy, creative! Love them. We feel so lucky to have found them and we know this won't be the end of seeing them either!

We contacted Uplift about shooting our wedding after seeing photos of a friends’ wedding—I was blown away by their creativity and freshness! Although I researched others, Uplift was always at the top of my mind. Working with Jade was a pleasure – she’s so upbeat and positive, our personalities meshed well. My husband and I felt so comfortable with her, and Jade made the whole process easy; she had a lot of great suggestions, for our photos and also for some general wedding details. Our engagement session was pure fun – getting to know Jade, and vice versa, was a huge help, and we came away with some amazing pictures. It really solidified my confidence that we had made the right choice. On our actual wedding day, we had both Jade and Tim with us for 8 hours. Working together, they are able to get so many pictures from different angles, making the whole portfolio more dynamic and complete. Bless both of them – it was 95 degrees and humid, and despite our entire party dripping in sweat, all the pictures came out amazing and you can’t even tell that we were hot! Jade and Tim were such troopers, carrying around all their equipment in the heat with smiling faces. We did a first look upon their suggestion, and it worked out great, giving us more time to enjoy our reception having had all of our couple and family shots done beforehand. I couldn't have wanted any more beautiful shots in our portfolio, and am 100% satisfied with the whole experience with Uplift. I at first was a little hesitant about the price of the packages; however, in retrospect, I can absolutely see the value and feel it was worth the money. The quality of the photos was superb, and we get countless and constant compliments on them. I am also planning on working with them for future photo shots for our growing family (baby #1 due in June!). I will treasure my wedding memories forever, and the photos from Uplift are the perfect representation of the best day of our lives!

Couldn't be happier with Uplift photography!!!!!!!! They were the first vendor we definately knew we wanted to go with when planning our wedding before anything else because we were so in love with their work from reading their blog and looking at their amazing pictures on their website. We had such a wonderful experience with Jade from start to finish. From the planning, the engagement photos (so much fun!), optional secret session ;) which was awesome and finally the Big Day! You just feel at ease and comfortable from the moment you meet her....she's just the best!!! All of our friends and family just loved the pictures and still are talking about our amazinnnng photographer three months later :) When u think there possibly couldn't be a better picture they amaze you with more!!! I can't begin to say enough great things about Uplift Photography. Jade and Time aside from being unbelievably talented are laid back, fun and professional all at the same time (in addition to being totally in love and adorable which makes having them there on your wedding day that much better). Jade was the first and last photographer we met with. From start to finish she made the process super easy and is so helpful with anything you need. I’ve been to a lot of weddings and seen obtrusive, rude photographers and Jade and Tim could not be more opposite of that if they tried. Our photos are artistic, natural and just plain amazing without looking “staged” or awkward in the least! They captured EVERY detail and special moment from every angle! When looking through our tremendous amount of photos, I noticed that they captured moments of us, our families and friends that I would have otherwise missed and am so happy to have! Uplift photography captured the moments of before, during, and after the wedding ceremony. They were very easy going and moved with the flow of the day rather than forcing us to be places at certain times. Their relaxed atmosphere allowed us to get great photos of each moment and we are truly appreciative for their work.

Jade is utterly professional but made us feel so comfortable so that we felt as if we had a friend in her and her husband (you can pay just little bit extra and get him as a second shooter). The package options were really great too, their cost was very reasonable in comparison with other photographers of their caliber. We were able to make some additions an move things around so that we got the right amount of time and pictures for our needs. Jade was always prompt at responding to my many questions and was even willing to come far to do our engagement session at a place that was really meaningful to us. You will not be disappointed with Uplift Photography! We cannot tell you how many compliments we've gotten on their work and personal service!:)

Upliftphotography captured our wedding day beautifully!! Jade and Tim were soo amazing to work with from start to finish. It was soo fun taking pictures with them. Now that I have received my proofs, I cannot decide on what pictures to put into the album because one picture is better than the next!!

Besides saying yes to my husband's proposal, choosing Uplift Photography to photograph our wedding was the best decision we made during the planning process. Jade and Tim are amazing! They're incredibly passionate about their work and it definitely shows in their photos. They're professional, open to ideas and creative. My husband and I chose not to hire a videographer so our photos were incredibly important to us, and Jade and Tim did not disappoint. We have received tons of complements on our photos and we are having such a difficult time making our album because we have SO many favorite photos from the day. I must also mention that they believe less is more. Their album design is not over done, and they do not try to "work" the photos, the photos do all the talking. Some photographers try to sell you on their albums by making the design look, well all over the place! They do not try to manipulate your photos or add old school and out of date effects to them. Their album design is simple and elegant, and of fine quality.

I can't say enough about the experience we had with Uplift Photography. We are constant followers of their blog, and plan on continuing to do business with them in the future for family portraits.

I recommend that if you are searching for a photographer you stalk Jade and Tim's blog for a couple of weeks and I guarantee that you will know you have found something special!

Jade and Tim were such a great team to work with. I did not get the chance to meet Jade before my wedding but it's crazy as I felt like we had met. Jade was referred to me by a co-worker who used her at her wedding and this co-worker's friends also used Jade. So I believe I'm either the 4th or 5th person within the same group to use Jade. Jade was always responsive to my questions and was prompt on the day of. I haven't seen my photos yet but she posted some teasers pictures on FB and already I am beyond words. I have been admiring Jade's work for over a year now, always waiting in excitement for her next blog post.

Jade and Tim were a dream to work with! So fun, so friendly, so professional. We met them at our friends' wedding in CT and brought them up to Boston for ours. We could not be more pleased with our choice of photographers! Not to mention the amazing pcitures! I can't wait to see the whole set!

Jade was amazing! She was a pleasure to work with through every step of the process. On the day of the wedding she and her second shooter Geri were great about getting the portrait shots done quickly (we wanted to get in to see everyone and start partying ASAP). Even though we were rushing her everything came out amazing. I couldn't believe how many shots we loved as we looked through our gallery. I couldn't have been luckier to have found Jade! From the day I met her I felt like she was a friend! I met her at a coffeehouse to look through examples of her work and I knew from that day on that I wanted her to photograph my wedding! We hadn't even set a date yet- and in the end we actually picked our date based on her availability! It was the detail I was most sure about and I don't regret it at all!
