Details:
Justin met with us for our initial consult several months ahead of the wedding. Once we agreed to work together, he sent the contract and questionnaire the following day. He called my then fiancee and I to meet with him three weeks out. He ran through the order of events, reviewed song requests, and assured us everything would run as smoothly as possible. We touched base a couple times in the days leading up to the wedding.
The day of the ceremony, Justin and Austin showed up a couple hours ahead of the wedding to set up the reception area. You will need to ensure they have a nearby power source.
By having two people from Uptown present, one was able to man the system and field song requests while the other used the wireless mic to work the event. Song selection along with a little help from Justin and Austin kept the dance floor busy. Uptown Entertainment ensured a good time was had by all.
Throughout the event, the DJ's were very accessible and flexible as we had to make several adjustments due to rain at our outdoor event. This included relocating our dance floor under a big tent out of the weather. This was no small task, but they were able to make it seamless.
We received many compliments on our DJ during and after the event. I even had a high school teacher ask me for their information to consider them for next year's prom.
Three weeks after the event, Justin called to follow up and request feedback so he can continue to make his great services even better.

We spoke to a few DJs, but ultimately decided to hire Justin and his team for their professionalism and attention to detail during our first meeting. I had a meeting scheduled with our day-of coordinator and asked Justin if he wouldn't mind meeting us there too. He was all for it and liked that it would get both teams on the same page before our wedding day. We had a few songs on our 'do not play' and our 'must play' lists that were adhered too; we really appreciated that! Justin and his team were great at keeping the flow of the reception going as well as keeping the energy up during our reception. We would definitely recommend Uptown Entertainment!

With Uptown Entertainment, everything went GREAT! They did an amazing job. Our family and friends were very comfortable on the dance floor and took direction very well. Although it was muggy on the dance they played excellent music and upheld their musical request.
The whole wedding ran very smoothley and professionally. Our family and friends are still sending us messages telling us how much fun they had and that this was the best wedding they have ever been too.
We thank them for theirr services and will highly recommend them to our family and friends!

Justin and his team were awesome on our wedding day, as well as before while we were planning out our reception. He made sure we were the focus of the night, and that our day was one we will never forget! He made sure we were able to eat, played music that fit our guests and requests, and led the reception so that everyone was involved and had a great time. If you are getting married, or just need a DJ, Uptown Entertainment is a great choice!

Justin stayed on top of things to keep the reception on schedule, made sure we were able to eat and kept the party rocking with great song selections and feeling the crowd. The DJ/MC combination is also a differentiating value-added factor that puts them above their competition. Uptown Entertainment provided us with music and acted as our MC for our ceremony and reception and they did an absolutely amazing job. They met with us way ahead of time and went over what songs/artists we specifically wanted to be played and also what we did not want to hear and followed those lists to a T. They also came out to the site before hand to see what the set up would be like so that everything would run more smoothly on the big day. They were very professional, amicable, and just all around fantastic to work with. My husband and I along with our families were more than pleased with all of their services. We had guests coming up to us all night commenting on how great of a job they were doing. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ/MC!
