I do not know even where to begin to describe the amazing Vanessa Vazquez! She is a complete life saver! I knew that I wanted to have a wedding planner since I was juggling a full time job and grad school! I met with a few other people, but I came across V3 Wedding and Events website and I knew right then that Vanessa and I had the same type of style! When I went to meet with her, we immediately clicked! I knew right then and there that I wanted to hire her.... so I did! :) I worked with Vanessa for a little over a year and she was always so quick getting back to me. Since I was new to this "wedding" thing, I had a TON of questions and Vanessa was right there to answer my questions and give me ideas. Our wedding turned out absolutely stunning! We have received so many compliments and our wedding was even referred to as "the wedding of the century" by many of our guests! None of this would have came true if it wasn't for Vanessa! I told her my vision and she created it for me!! I truly had my dream wedding! Vanessa helped coordinate our candy bar and photo booth! Both were an absolute hit!! The candy bar was even more gorgeous than I expected! I love bling and our theme was black and white damask with pops of purple and fuchsia! She decorated it beautifully!! The guests LOVED IT!! Vanessa's husband has a photo booth and it is a perfect touch of fun for a wedding! Our guests raved about the photo booth and they were able to take the pictures that they took, home with them! All I can say is AMAZING! If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator... DO it!! Even if you can only afford the month of.... Vanessa will ensure that your day goes smoothly!! I was not worried because I knew I had Vanessa on my tEAM and she can make ANYTHING happen! Vanessa experienced a terrible loss during the time that she was helping me plan our wedding. Vanessa STILL kept in touch with me and kept me in the loop of what was going on! That is how selfless and incredible of a person she is!! Her assistant Sosefina was also an incredible help!! As a new bride, the one thing you experience when you first start planning is feeling overwhelmed. Because of that, I would highly recommend hiring a planner. For me, hiring Vanessa was the best decision I made for my wedding. When I was first researching for a planner, I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for. But after our first meeting, I knew instantly I wanted to book her. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and at the same time, was professional and relatable. She was the only planner I met with and the only one I needed to meet with. Throughout the planning process, Vanessa was my main contact for everything. I explained to her my vision and what I was most concerned with and she made note of it and everything I said! She provided me with a lot of vendor recommendations, all within my budget, and shared her unbiased opinions and experiences with me. I was constantly emailing her pictures of things I liked or wanted and she kept them all and brought them to our vendor meetings! (I am glad she did because I always forgot too.)As crunch time hit, Vanessa was always a phone call or email away, constantly asking me if I needed help with anything and everything. She contacted all my vendors and coordinated all the day-of scheduling. She worked with me on my timeline and with her experience, made recommendations on what worked best. As the big day arrived, I was never more thankful that I hired Vanessa! You really don't know how everything will turn out until that day. I was so anxious to see all of our hard work and planning come to life and with the help of Vanessa, my day was even better than what I had imagined! With a team of two, she managed to coordinate, decorate, and dictate (according to the timeline) the entire day, all the while with a smile on her face. She even cleaned up and packed up my decor and gifts! I did not have to worry about a thing except to enjoy my night.Vanessa definitely works great under pressure and is always professional. As someone with a type A personality who is extremely meticulous and struggles to relinquish control, I was very picky about who I was willing to trust with all my "day-of" planning and details. Vanessa of V3 Weddings stepped in with perfect precision; I wish there was a 10-star option for the "Value for Cost" rating, because she provided the best day-of planning I could have ever asked for. Throughout the planning process and leading up to the big day, Vanessa was extremely professional, friendly, flexible, organized, punctual, and easy to communicate with. It's very apparent that Vanessa cares about her brides (and grooms), and that she truly loves what she does. Vanessa, Vanessa, Vanessa…she is absolutely amazing, passionate & a joy to work with. Vanessa did a wonderful job of helping us make all the decisions that needed to be made without any pressure. She gave us as many options as we needed to be really happy with the vendors we selected and to stay on track with our budget. She was efficient with scheduling & coordinating our vendors with our venue. She took a huge load of responsibilities off my back, thank you. This is a woman you can trust on your “special day”! The actual wedding day went so smoothly I still cannot believe it. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the day with our loved ones without worrying about anything. V3 made our guests comfortable and even helped with supervising all the kids (3 of which were my step-children). Your services far exceeded our expectations; we can not thank you enough. Hiring Vanessa as our day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were not sure we could afford a wedding co-ordinator, but her prices were very reasonable (especially for ALL that she does)... definitely worth every penny. We chatted on the phone, met up a few times, and sent numerous emails before the wedding. She always responded quickly and even let us know before she went on vacation. She is the sweetest person and by talking with her you can tell she has a passion for planning weddings. She is a great listener, she offered advice (without being pushy), gave us vendor recommendations, and went above and beyond what we expected. She helped run the rehearsal, set up our day of time line, contacted all our vendors, and even made extra effort to ensure we got a response from a slow vendor. Vanessa is very professional, helpful, and was always calm even when things got a little hectic. She was flexibile with last minute changes, and made sure that everyone was in the right place and everything was going smoothly. She took care of EVERYTHING on our wedding day so we were free to enjoy and have fun. I did not have to worry about a thing on the day of! I had so much fun and got so many compliments on how smoothly the wedding went. She even went to each and every table with us for table visits to remove the table numbers, the centerpiece, and gather everyone for photos. Even after 27 tables she still had a smile on her face. After getting back from our honeymoon i was surprised to see everything had been neatly packed by Vanessa and her team and sent home with my in-laws. We also hired her for our candy buffet favors which were a big hit. Vanessa and her assistant manned the table, refilled the candy, and did all the setup and cleanup. She was flexible with my candy requests and included some healthy options for the health-conscious guests. The table was laid out beautifully and she even sent the leftover candy home with my in-laws. Again, highly recommend her! she is GREAT! you will not regret it!

WOW, where do I start?! Before the wedding i spent THOUSANDS of hours online getting inspiration and doing research, but when i came across V3, it felt just right. I originally didn't think i needed a wedding planner but now i totally understand how they become your "co-pilots".

Vanessa is now not only a friend but she was a lifesaver at my wedding. I trusted her with my vision and she and her team made me understand why I couldn't do everything myself, which was so true with what i was trying to accomplish. Vanessa made me feel so comfortable, relaxed and safe about the entire event. I was confident it would all go out without a hitch. My family and friends just loved her and the team and it was so nice to know that anyone of them could go to her the day of and it would be taken care of.

I have a certain style i was trying to create, a specific mood. Vanessa took the vision and brought it to fruition, putting 100% effort into it as if i would have done it myself. Towards the week of the wedding everything was just all over the place and family was in town and the date was just creeping up on me. Vanessa never made me feel like she was closed for business becasue I could call her and vent or ask questions as often as i could.


For anyone who is considering a wedding planner/coordinator, I highly recommend Vanessa and V3 Weddings. You will be so glad you made the decision. Love ya girl!!!

About 8 months ago, I was sure I didn't need a wedding planner because "I could do everything myself"... right. I can't tell you how wrong I was. After receiving our save-the-date, Vanessa contacted me immediately offering to help, and since we go way back AND she is a dear dear friend of mine, we decided to meet even though I still wasn't entirely convinced I needed any help. During our meeting, Vanessa brought up questions, suggestions, and decoration ideas that I would have NEVER thought of, not only that but she was genuinely excited about them! I realized how much help I was in desperate need of, and how happy she was to help.

Throughout the next few months, Vanessa continued to put forth the same amount of energy towards my wedding as I witnessed her do for her own. She devoted so much of herself that I became concerned as a friend that I was her only client. I was so impressed to learn how many other clients she actually had and yet made me feel like her only one. Whenever I told her I needed to buy something she would say, "oh, I'll make it" and she would exceed my expectations. Whenever I said I needed to go do something she would say, "let me handle it" and I completely trusted her with everything.

The days leading up to/day of the wedding, I may have been the calmest bride you've ever seen, and the reason for this was Vanessa. She did EVERYTHING for me and left me with nothing to worry about. I had planned to go to the venue to help set-up the tables and help out, but Vanessa wouldn't have it. I had no hesitation in letting Vanessa do everything because she is brilliant and I trust her with my life.

Since the wedding, I have received an unbelievable amount of compliments from guests and strangers who have seen our wedding pictures on blogs, saying how unique and gorgeous everything looked. I am completely flattered, but Vanessa deserves most of the compliments for portraying our dream wedding. So, if you think you can do it all by yourself, think again... and get Vanessa ASAP!

The only warning I have about Vanessa is she's easy to fall in love with, so try not to get too attached :)

Vanessa was wonderful!! I could not imagine how my wedding would have gone without her.

I started off with a limited package (Month of Package), because I was going to handle it most of the planning. THen, plans changed ! I got my dream job, however, the problem was now I had one day a week to plan for the biggest day of my life so far.
Vanessa was so flexible, she created a new package for me and got my plans running smoothly again.

She found the last vendor I needed in short notice : Kate Baker (who rocked !).
Prepared my table numbers, arrangement of decoration pursuant to my view, did a full walkthrough with my vendors and even did my programs !!

Also tip !! Get the Candy Buffet!! It was a HUGE hit and was so well decorated !!

I'm the type of person that believes "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!" So when it came to planning my wedding, you can imagine how disappointed I was when I realized I wouldn't be able to run down to the ballroom on my wedding day and set up the reception...and get ready at the same time! I knew I had to put aside "the control freak" and hire a coordinator. But I couldn't just hire any coordinator. My husband and I are both graphic designers, so a majority of our wedding was made up of many DIY projects. I began my search for the right “day of” coordinator that I would be able to trust with all our little details and carry out our vision. After all my research, I found Vanessa and saw that all the weddings she has been involved with have looked amazing, plus she was right in our budget…how can you beat that? We had our first meeting and I knew she would be perfect! She was absolutely beautiful inside and out and we got along so well. I hired her right away and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Throughout my wedding planning, Vanessa was always available to answer any questions I had and offered numerous vendor referrals. On the day of our wedding, everything turned out perfect and we were completely stress free. I received so many compliments on how beautiful and fun my wedding was and it was all thanks to Vanessa and her team. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them!

Vanessa came to me as a referral from a friend and as soon as I met with her I just knew she would be great. I work in production, so it is sometimes hard for me to let everything go because my job forces me to be very detail oriented. But Vanessa is exceptional at what she does. She makes you feel so at ease, calm, and confident that you have everything covered for your wedding and things are going to all work out. I couldn't of asked for a better coordinator for our wedding. She meshed well with vendors she didn't know, and kept everything running seamlessly all throughout the day. Best decision I made was to hire Vanessa, by far, and I will never go through this wedding process again but i sort of wish I could just to work with her again. She rocked.

V3 Weddings and Events is a great company. They are very creative and we will definately use them again for future weddings.

vanessa was awesome. very detail-oriented. i had her for the "day-of" wedding coordination and she went above and beyond her expected duties. she is also easy to work with and has a very sweet demanor. i highly recommend her.

vanessa did a great job for our wedding. we got her for the "day-of" but she actually starts planning with you as early as a month before the wedding. she is very organized, detail oriented, and very easy to work with. she went above and beyond what was expected of her and i didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day of the wedding. my husband and i felt comfortable working with her. and the cherry on top is that she is super sweet. thanks vanessa!!!

Where can I start?

I am having a hard time expressing in words on how happy we are of hiring Vanessa. Lets just say that just like most brides you want to make sure your wedding day is as perfect as it can be, and sometimes having the extra cash for a wedding coordinator is not something every bride has the luxury to do. But like I said before there is no words to describe on how happy I was that day off. Vanessa handled every single thing of the wedding and believe me when I say a wedding can never be perfect something always happens. I remember seeing her running around and she still made sure to come and ask me how I was doing. I strongly feel this day could have never gone as smooth if she wasn't there.
My family and friends were so impressed on her ability of handling so many different things that day. Everyone has said to me and my husband how everything look so well put together and planned out I wonder why. Hahaha
I personally am not a creative person and my husband isn't at all. The first time I met her I went over the ideas of my wedding day and it seem to me that I was all over the place. Vanessa was able to narrow down my ideas. I love her ability of listening and how passionate she is for what she does. If you are like me and my husband definitely hired her. She will definitely save you many headaches that I am certain all brides go through.

5 Stars all the way! Vanessa was bar none our favorite wedding vendor. I can not explain how nice it was to always have someone to go to if we needed help with anything. She was always just an email away and if I needed answers I always heard from her within 24 hours. We booked the month of service but she never limited her assistance to what was actually included in this package. She helped connect us with some of our vendors and also worked with me to put together ideas for our venue decor. I am really the kind of girl who loves to play with details and projects and my husband and I are ridiculously organized but I knew I didn't want us to fret about anything as our wedding got closer.

On the day of our wedding we didn't have to worry about a thing. Just moments before our first dance my reception mini dress had a major wardrobe malfunction and without hesitation she began sewing me into my dress and saved the day! I will never ever forget that moment and how collected and confident she was as my mom and I were freaken out! Vanessa and her assistant handled everything from vendors, details, guests, you name it! The banquet manager was a friend of my parents and he even raved about how professional and sweet she was. We are so happy to have hired her and recommend her to all of you brides out there that need an awesome coordinator.

Vanessa is passionate about her job and it shows. From the day we first contacted her she was helpful and really good at emailing us back right away. I had booked her day of package but she also helped us book other vendors that she worked with. We had to cancel our wedding in March because of financial burdens but she worked with us to help get some of our deposits back, I don't know anyone who would do that after cancelling a wedding. Even now she emails me to check on my fiances health and see how things are. I recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator, even though we didn't get to work with her on our wedding day, she is the nicest person ever adn that sets her apart from others who are in this for so many other reasons. She is a true professional, when we finally do get to have our wedding she is the first vendor I will call!

One of the best decisions I made throughout the planning process was hiring Vanessa as my coordinator. She was such a great pleasure to work with - guiding me through my checklists, keeping me motivated to push forward. She's sweet, professional, dependable, knowledgeable, organized, and so much more, including affordable! Her services go above and beyond what you actually pay.

I am a vendor myself and I have worked with Vanessa at V3 events on many occasions. She is so passionate at what she does. She is always 10 steps ahead of the brides needs. I am always in the loop with the scheduling when working with Vanessa. She sets up the trial for the bride, and informs me on the times the bride is available. Sometimes having a middle man(woman) ;) can be frustrating, but working with Vanessa is such a pleasure. If and when I get married, I will hire her.

Vanessa of V3 Weddings & Events is an amazing coordinator, and I can't stop raving about her! She is organized, detail orientated, passionate, experienced, tactful, sweet, energetic, and fun. I don't know what my wedding would be like without Vanessa. She is always there for me calming me down when I am panicking out about the little things and getting me back on track when I am feeling super stressed out and overwhelmed. She is super organized, replies to you same day, is affordable, and comes up with amazing ideas.

UPDATED: Now that my wedding is over, I have the true review. I knew coming into the day, that I would not have to worry about a thing because of how organized, calm and collected Vanessa and her assistant was. They went over every detail with each other prior and when I arrived to the yacht club everything was perfection, really above and beyond what I was expecting. When I had lost the cylinder vases for my centerpeices one hour before the ceremony, they handled everything and the centerpeices they made up were better than the original plans.

I can not thank Vanessa and her staff more for making my wedding go flawlessly. She knows I love the small details, and all the work she put in the details made me so happy. When I was nervous or upset, they acted like my best friend and calmed me down. When something went wrong, they handled it immediately without me even knowing that something happened. I would recommend Vanessa of V3 events to anybody getting married in California, she will give you the wedding of your dreams and you won't have to pay an arm and leg to make it happen. I would book her immediately before her business blows up, like it's about to.

I've always loved weddings! I can recall as a teenager when I didn't even have a boyfriend, I daydreamed about what my wedding would be like. I'd purchase bridal magazines and make note of my favorite dresses, cakes and wedding details. So when I finally got engaged, I thought I had it all figured out and could coordinate my entire wedding on my own. I was a DIY bride on a budget so most of the planning and details my fiance and I did together.

With only 2 weeks before our wedding, I realized after all the planning and time we invested, I needed someone I could trust to make it all happen. That's when I hired Vanessa with V3 Events. She was the last vendor we hired but the BEST money spent for our wedding. She coordinated the ceremony/reception setup, all our vendors for the day of, and created a detailed wedding timeline. She also purchased everything we needed for a candy buffet we thought we couldn't afford, but she made it budget friendly for us. On the days leading up to the wedding, she appointed herself the point of contact for all our vendors because she didn't want me to stress out. Vanessa even offered to help us put together our last minute DIY details, and that was beyond what she was contracted to do. She is truly a gem and I can't thank her enough for what she and her assistant did for us. The evening flowed smoothly and I attribute it to Vanessa's hard work and passion for what she does. She is super organized, calm amidst the chaos, and a true friend on your big day. Even my family was impressed with how helpful and endearing she was. If you are looking to hire a wedding coordinator, you should give her a call. I highly recommend her to any bride and I am so grateful to her for making our wedding day more than we could ever ask for.

Vanessa was the day-of coordinator for our October 2008 wedding. We booked her with only a few weeks left, and I couldn't imagine how we could have done it without her. She executed our vision for the ceremony and reception flawlessly; I was in awe at how everything looked. She is very organized, has a keen eye for details, and is an absolute joy to work with. We didn't worry about a thing during our ceremony or reception. If there were any mishaps, I didn't notice because she took care of it all.
