I was a little upset when I saw my cake on my wedding day. The color of the ribbon was completely different than what I had ordered. I specify to them that I didn't want any bold colors for my wedding, therefore the ribbon I chose was a Very LIGHT peach (I even pointed out and selected the ribbon at the store)...and what did they ended putting on my cake?? A BRIGHT as can be ORANGE!! Needless to say I was very surprised and disappointed. But whatever, I didn't let that get to me...I coudn't wait to cut that cake so they can remove that crazy bright color from the details! Thanks goodness the cake still tastes good.
And when I went to return my cake stands, the lady said that I'm missing 2 of the stands. I told her that I don't have it, why would i keep it??! She denied to give my back my deposit. I told her that they messed up on my ribbon color and she was so rude. She wouldn't even try to service me. I return a week later and spoke to the boss and he was at least reasonable and told me that it's okay, maybe the venue didn't give you all back the stands and recognized that it wasn't my fault. He was willing to give me back my deposit and apologize that they messed up on the color.
But yeah if you want to save money on your cake expenses then they would be a good...
