If there was a way to give more than 5 out of 5 stars I would!!! I was very apprehensive about selecting a musician for my wedding as I knew the vendor would be someone who I was not familiar with. From the first conversation, Charis put me at ease, I knew immediately that I had found the perfect match! Not only did Charis provide beautiful piano and vocal skills, she recommended and coordinated all the other musicians (flute, violin, trumpet) as well! I was even lucky enough to receive a preview from one of the practice sessions a few days before the big day!

Charis is truly talented and a true professional, I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful music for any occasion!!!

Where do I begin?

From the very beginning of Charis and I speaking regarding music for our wedding, she was nothing but a joy. Before I contacted Charis, I was definitely nervous as to where I was going to find musicians for our wedding ceremony. After Charis welcomed me, my mother, and aunt into her home and treated us just as if we were family, I left 100% at ease. I felt as if I could put complete trust in her, and she bent over backwards in order to make sure that our wedding was everything we wanted it to be... and let me say, it was more than what we could have imagined. Absolutely Perfect. I honestly feel that any couple and family would be LUCKY to have Charis as a part of their wedding or any other special event!! :)

Charis was easy to work with and did a fantastic job at our wedding!

Charis provided solo vocals for our wedding, singing "Panis Angelicus" and "Ave Maria." She has a beautiful, well-trained, soprano voice! Charis often works with other area musicians, and so she worked alonsgside our other musicians wonderfully and reliably.

Charis met with me one-one-one, helping me plan all of the music for our wedding. Since she has experience playing piano, keyboard, or organ for various churches, she is familiar with what music is liturgically appropriate for most church ceremonies and has already developed a good rapport with many ministers in the area. She has a wealth of resources if you need suggestions or guidance in planning the music for your wedding ceremony.

As a performer and a person, Charis is both stunning and professional....And so she will enhance your wedding ceremony while keeping the focus on the meaning of your marriage.

Charis did an amazing job on the music for my wedding reception! Her voice is beautiful and she was able to do all the music I requested. She was an absoloute joy to work with! I would highly recommend Vander Plaats Music Studio to all of my family and friends.
