Vanilla Bake Shop

Our cakes were works of art! They turned out so gorgeous that I hated to eat them! We showed Amy (who is super sweet) our inspiration photo and she recreated it perfectly. Our flavors were red velvet, vanilla lemon berry (my fav) and banana pudding. I highly recommend them!

I ordered the Chocolate Southern Banana Pudding cake for my birthday party last year and I am so glad I only ordered the 9" because the slices were HUGE! My family cut each slice in half and there were still left overs after 20 people dug in!The cake was perfectly delicious and we were all impressed. I can't wait to try the Passion Fruit Creme cake for my birthday this year!

We decided not to move forward with the Vanilla Bake Shop because for what we were looking for it was bit out of our budget. However the tasting and consultation was great! We tried 7 different cupcakes and had two different cake shots! Everything was super yummy!

The MOST DELICIOUS cake I have ever tasted. Ever!! I recently attended a girlfriend's wedding and purposely made sure I saved room for dessert because everyone I know raves about Vanilla!! Wow, were they right! I am so looking forward to booking my cake with them!

Our guests raved and raved about these cupcakes all night. In fact, some guests still mention them whenever they see us. A bit on the higher end scale of the cake budget, but worth every penny. Amy and her staff are fabulous!

With only 50 guests and a limited budget, Amy treated my daughter and her fiance and myself like we were spending 3 times as much! We had a scheduled tasting, the most beautiful understated and delicious 3 tier cake- one I could only imagine- from the pages of a magazine. The contract was drawn up quickly and Amy worked with our florist for the finishing touches. When I arrived at the venue, it was set up as promised. A mother living 3000 miles away couldn't ask for more...peace of mind, and perfect outcome. We planned my daughter's wedding via wedding websites and reviews so having a gut feeling out our initial meeting was key to the success (or failure) of the wedding. We are elated.

If you are searching for your dream cake search no more! Vanilla Bake Shop will create it for you. It will look amazing and it will taste amazing. Amy designed a beautiful cake for us. We had three flavors and we had guests that had a slice of each because it was so delicious.

I took an idea to Amy and she looked at it, recreated it better than the picture, and the taste of the cake was to die for. I love Vanlla bake shop! I make any kind of excuse to go there (birthday, anniversary, get well cupcakes) because their sweets are to die for!

I would highly recommend VBS for your wedding. Vanilla Bake shop presented a beautiful tower of cupcakes for our wedding. Amy was a pleasure to work with and they incorporated the design elements from the wedding and my personal style with the arrangement. I thought that everyone in L.A. had been to a wedding with cupcakes at this point. Wow, was I wrong. Amy and her team at Vanilla did an amazing job with our cupcakes, and guests are still raving about how fun they were. Vanilla is easy to work with, reasonably priced compared to a wedding cake, and were able to see our vision for our "cupcake cake".

My Mom ordered Vanilla Bake Shop's cupcakes for our engagement party. They were so cute and perfect for the party. And they were DELICIOUS.. there wasn't one cupcake left!

Wow. We asked for a cake based on our save the dates, and Amy and her team delivered something even more gorgeous than I had imagined. It was elegant, creative, and beautiful and fit the event perfectly.

Our flavors were vanilla bean and fleur del sel (chocolate with dark chocolate ganache, caramel, and sea salt). My husband doesn't like sweets, but he loved the fleur del sel flavor - delicious and different. We even got one layer that was chocolate AND vanilla. People raved about the cake; we even had some people who were just eating the fondant because they loved it so much! I got to eat some cake the day after the wedding, and it was SO good and moist.

WOW! That's all I can say! We got mini cupcakes and they were a HUGE hit! All of our guests LOVED them! The flavors are amazing and they service was amazing!

Amy at Vanilla Bake Shop is amazing! Honestly me and the hubs arent huge cake people so we opted for cupcake babies and dessert shots! From our tasting we were hooked on VBS- it was A-MAZ-ING & truly delicious desserts!!!!!! And Amy also displayed everything soooo beautiful, i was in awe of our dessert table, it was everything we hoped for. We didnt want the basic "cupcakes but stacked like a cake look" so Amy had acrylic pieces for the dessert shots, and then different size cake plates for the cupcake babies! Perfection! I think people complimented me every 20 mins about our dessert bar : ) it was my favorite thing of the wedding!!!! I just couldnt stop staring at the table : )
We cannot wait to come back to Vanilla Bake shop every year for our anniversary! : )

I travel from Orange County to Santa Monica for these babies. Amy works with all of her brides to create a beautiful presentation based on your other decor elements. Your guests will LOVE them!
