Vecoma was the best decision that we made for our wedding. Caroline and the entire Staff made the whole day stress free and easy. Everyone was so helpful and accomidating. They took care of every detail, and even remebered things that I did not. We used Kirk the house DJ and he was great. We also used Katrina the house florist and she did an amazing job. We used Caroline for the Photography, and can not wait to see what an amazing job she did. It was everything I could have hoped for and more.

To have everything all in one place and have the whole process from beginging to end mapped out on one sheet of paper was amazing. I did not have to worry about different companies and figuring out details with a whole bunch of people. The fact that all of the vendors have worked together for so long, everyone knew what they had to do and I was never needed for questions. I was able to focus on MY wedding day and spending time with my guests.

The food was great, and there was never a need of mine or any of my guests that was not met. I have and will continue to recommend Vecoma to anyone and everyone I can. What a magical expierence it all was.

If you are looking for a wedding venue that is both beautiful and affordable, Vecoma at the Yellow River is definitely that spot. Vecoma's staff is by far the best in the Atlanta area. Owners Caroline and Judith are both accommodating and easy to work with. They were more than happy to work with any requests that I had and were very good about responding to last minute requests.

Vecoma made my wedding dreams come true, delivering more than imagined! Both my husband and I are thrilled that we decided to begin the rest of our lives at Vecoma.

My daughter Ashley got married on Oct. 23, 2011, and it was WONDERFUL. We couldn't have been more pleased. To start off the cake and flowers were late (almost had a breakdown!) and Caroline was right there assuring me that everything would be perfect. They got right in full swing to take care of things if they didn't show. Everything arrived and the day couldn't have been any better. The whole staff was there to help with every little detail and so polite. You couldn't find a place as great as Vecoma. I strongly urge people to use them. I have already told all my friends about it. The guests were very pleased also. The food was delicious and the way it was presented was beautiful. We had the DJ from Vecoma (Kirk) and we had a great time dancing. We also used Caroline for the photos and we can't wait to see them. If I could give them a 10 I would. I just can't say enough great things about them.

Vecoma was the best place to get married. It is beautiful. The people are so nice and helpful. I did not have to worry about anything. They took care of every detail that I did not even think of. Everything ran so smoothly. The food was wonderful. The dj was the best that works with Vecoma. Their photographer/owner was amazing. We had only the reception here, not the ceremony. The reception was absolutely wonderfuly...amazing since they only had about 1.5 hours of turn-around time between the afternoon event and our reception. The venue is lovely, the food is great, the bartenders were awesome....everything was set up just like we wanted it to be when we got there that night. I would absolutely recommend Vecoma to anyone looking for a beautiful spot for a wedding reception. I should say that I was not the bride, but the bride's mother....

My best friend got married here, and I was very uptight going into the whole process. I wanted so badly for everything to be perfect. Her family was flying in from the other side of the country, it was her time to shine as the beautiful bride I knew she would be, and she had put the entire planning process solely on her own shoulders. She was frazzled, and I was worried.

But as soon as we got there, we were taken care of. The rehearsal process was easy, but detailed. We all knew where we needed to be and when. We felt relaxed going into the big day, and things were absolutely beautiful.

They take care of the ins and outs of your wedding with all your special touches. The menu was absolutely delicious, and we felt at home with the banquet hall all to ourselves. The wedding was in mid-July, outside, and the brief outdoor ceremony was met with a long, fun, air conditioned dance party for hours afterwards!

As a bridesmaid, the photography process wasn't drawn out or stressful. A fun break from all the primping and preparation! Caroline actually allowed us bridesmaids (all design students) to art direct some of the shots ourselves! The entire day's photography came out perfect, and Elizabeth couldn't have been happier.

Her family was pleased, all the visitors had a great time, and even after the sendoff, we were all very impressed by the lovely work done by the Vecoma family. You absolutely must see the venue to understand how lovely and secluded it is. Perfect!

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and everything looked beautiful. We were so pleased and would highly recommend the Vecoma for a wedding reception.

Vecoma excelled in every way and met our high expectations of the perfect wedding ceremony and reception for our son and daughter-in-law. From our initial meeting through the planning process and final goodbyes the Staff were caring, alert, and open to our family making sure that June 2, 2011 was wonderful and memory filled. The Ceremony site just in front of the Yellow River was gorgeous and tranquil from the sound of rolling water over bedrocks to the rabbit strolling across the lawn. The Reception was equally amazing. The menu had many sumptuous choices, tasted perfect and was displayed with pride. Use Vecoma’s vender list! Vecoma’s DJ Kirk not only streamlined the handling of the planned activities, read our guests and provided fun for all, but also produced the DVD that truly captured the day to be enjoyed for years to come. The flowers (Katrina) were fresh, beautiful, and everything we asked for! Vecoma’s Caroline was our photographer who saw it all and provided a work of art not only with the final album but all the pictures which let us see what we didn’t see. We also used the Limo service recommended by Vecoma who arrived on time and helped bring to an end a totally wonderful day and experience. Check Vecoma out! We are sure you won’t be disappointed!

My daughter's wedding and reception was absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have asked for more. The staff went out of their way with any and all request that we had the day of the wedding. We had looked at all of the beautiful mansions in the area but decided for the money to go with Vecoma. I don't think that we could have picked a more perfect spot. Everything flowed so smoothly. It was nice with the hot weather that some of our elderly guest were able to watch the ceremony up on the deck without having to sit in the sun and heat. Everything was excellent. Caroline did an excellent job with the photography. She knew just the right light and spot for pictures. Nancy kept the ceremony and reception flowing and on time. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

Vecoma definitely deserves a 5 out of 5 rating. They helped us every step of the way. The funny thing is, they were not even on my list of venues at first. I went to another location near them and was treated badly so I gave them a call and they saw me the same day! What a difference it was from my first few places. The staff was attentive and helpful from the start. When my husband and I first went to Vecoma it was pouring down rain. And we still fell in love with it. Honestly though if it wasn't for the people there I would have worried a lot more. Caroline in particular made an impression on us; she was so nice and helpful and never rushed us or made us feel like we were just another client. As the big day closed in, I did start getting nervous and called them like a million times. But they were always helpful and reassuring. On the big day, everything went smoothly. I was running late and freaking out but they didn't rush me at all. The pictures turned out amazing! Caroline did a wonderful job on them and I definitely recommend having her as your photographer. I would recommend them to anyone. You will NOT be disappointed!!

My husband and I were married at Vecoma at the Yellow River on May 8, 2011. The venue was the perfect site for our wedding. Who knew this gem was hidden away in Snellville, GA?! If you and your groom love a beautiful outdoor venue, then Vecoma should truly be on your list to visit. As soon as you turn onto Vecoma Lane, you are transported to the north Georgia mountains. The river meandering by behind the arbor, the lush tree line surrounding the wedding site made it secluded, peaceful and serene.

The Vecoma staff members were wonderful to work with. The ladies kept each other well informed about every detail of our wedding. They were very professional and sincerely wanted us and our guests to have a great time. One of the best decisions we made was to have a photo booth for our guests to use while we were taking formal pictures. Our guests dressed in fun costumes before having their picture taken. The photographer developed the photos, created a wedding album, had the guests sign the album plus provided individual copies to the guests - this was done before the reception ended! That was a huge hit!

I highly recommend Vecoma! The prices were excellent. The food was really good. The buffet was beautifully displayed; the staff attentive. We really enjoyed the day.

Vecoma truly made my wedding day everything you would want it to be and then some. The venue is just breathtaking. From the ceremony site set right on the Yellow River to the building and deck for the recpetion. They were very flexible in working with me and understanding of my many situation that happen to arise throughout my wedding planning process.

They had everything perfect and stress-free on the day of my wedding. I had every Brides worst nightmare...RAIN on my wedding day! Vecoma worked with me literally to the minute in making sure my wedding was everything I wanted and we ended up still being able to hold my ceremony outside.

I could not have asked for a better venue and staff. I would highly recommend Vecoma to fellow Brides!!!

Wonderful place for a wedding! I wanted a very low stress wedding, and Vecoma did a great job reducing all of the stresses. They were so organized and efficient. It was so nice that we were able to pick out the venue, food, and photographer in one place! They even helped us by recommending places to find cakes, flowers and an officiant. The grounds are beautiful and Caroline does a wonderful job with the pictures! We were so happy with everything!

Vecoma was such an amazingly gorgeous setting. Their outdoor ceremony venue is just gorgeous and the reception hall is wonderful. It comes already decorated with draped cloth and white lights on the inside and candles in the beautiful fireplace. The service was great and everything went off without a hitch. If you are looking for an affordable venue close to the city with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception all in one locale, this is the place for you. Its super easy to get to for guests as well as its right off of highway 78. Our wedding night was so amazing and everyone raved about how beautiful the setting was and how good the food was as well.

The staf at Vecoma was exceptional! We communicated with them so many times during the year we planned, and they accommodated us every time. The site was beautiful and quiet!! Our biggest draw to them was that the location was off any major roads and not near any tracks or airports. Too many locations we visited and went to weddings had so much background noise of cars, trains, and planes. The only background noise at Vecoma is the river. The coordinators were wonderful, though they did switch on us last minute..... The next major draw for Vecoma (after the noise) was the large open room with easy-access deck. We had also been to many weddings where the guests were separated into different rooms, and were disconnected from the different activities at the reception. The open room and large windows allowed everyone to experience the reception, including our family that smoked outside. We still get comments about how amazing the food was three years later. Many friends have used our wedding food as the goal for theirs. The food was simple and delicious! (especially the glazed carrots!)

The staff at Vecoma were very helpful. They walked us through each detail step by step and made sure my guest and wedding party were comfortable. While we took pictures after the ceremony, the staff brought us cocktails and appetizers.
The venue is stunning, and the food was amazing. My guest still talk about the food today! The staff seemed to know the wedding business very well, they made sure they had all grounds covered. When we needed an additional photographer for the groomsmen, they offered their services and did an excellent job. I highly recommend this venue to brides to be. When you have Vecoma as your venue, everything is stress and worry free.

Vecoma at Yellow River is just breathtaking. There are so many places to take pictures and hangout out with your guests! The prices really can't be beat for everything that you get! The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful! If your looking for great value, but still want all of the high end amenities, this is your place. We loved Vecoma so much and felt like it was such a spritual place that we are actually having our daughter's dedication by the river on our anniversary!!

All the staff was great and everything we requested was done. It was the first place we actually visited and there happen to be a promo going on so we got the venue at a very good price. Many of our guests commented that it was one of the most special venues that had ever seen. It was so nice to have the ceremony and reception in one location and to have easy access to the beautiful grounds throughout the day. The location was beautiful and the entire staff spent every second we were there making the event a one in a million day. Lastly the food, I am still getting compliments on the food three months after our wedding. Everything was perfect on my wedding day and his staff is unbelievable. I could not have asked for more and the experience there made my day extremely memorable.

I should have written this comment 5 months ago, but I wanted to state that this venue is WONDERFUL! My husband and I got married 12/2009, it was a beautiful "winter wonderland" wedding. Vecoma was decorated so beautiful! The staff and Carolyn were great! I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. It is a great value for the cost!!!

Vecoma is one of the loveliest places to have a wedding in Atlanta. They are in a gorgeous, private park setting near the Yellow River. Inside Vecoma is lovely too with a huge room for the wedding festivities. I particularly liked that as not a fan of chapels with little chopped up rooms. Everyone was able to be part of the wedding festivities this way. The wedding planners were very helpful, kind and efficient and made things go smoothly during my daughter's Nov 1, 2009 wedding before and during. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and wait staff also very efficient. I also liked our bartender and DJ and Caroline was a fabulous photographer and wedding album breathtaking. I am so pleased that we found Vecoma on the Yellow River.

We loved the reception and the professionalism of all the staff. Everyone had a great time!

My daughter's wedding was absolutely beautiful and the staff and all services provided by Vecoma were top of the line. I have told everyone I know, as well as everyone in attendance has agreed it was one of the nicest weddings they've ever attended. I have nothing but wonderful things to say! Our wedding there was perfect!

A beautiful reception venue with wonderful staff who made everything easy! We didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything was done in one spot and at a more affordable price than trying to scurry all around Atlanta to find the vendors. The DJ and the Photographer who were also provided by Vecoma did an outstanding job. The staff were attentive and kept on top of everything. Trully excellent service and made the day memorable for all the right reasons!

What initially attracted me to Vecoma at the Yellow River was the fact that it felt so removed from the fast pace of Atlanta. It is a more private location that allows for beautiful outdoor and indoor weddings. Another great feature are the services provided by Vecoma. They are capable of on-site catering as well as providing this frazzled bride with the tables, chairs,dining amenities decorations; the list goes on for what is offered at a very reasonable price. They will also work with you when you are selecting a date for your ceremony. I would highly recommend Vecoma at the Yellow River for any such service!

This is just a beautiful place to have that PERFECT wedding! They really went all out here! You all must try this perfect place. Its like heaven on Earth!

Vecoma was a great place to have our wedding. The staff was all very nice and met our needs. Caroline did a wonderful job with the photos. Kirt did a great job as the DJ. Would recommand Vecoma for anyones function.

Everything was done in a professional manner. This includes the office staff and the people who were in charge of the meals.
All of the guests are still commenting on how beautiful the place was, the food, and the friendliness of the staff.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. My wedding was in the fall and it was stunning. The staff made my day perfect and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. I highly recommend the beauty and elegance of this venue.

I really can't say enough good things about Vecoma. I planned my wedding myself and did so on a budget of about $10,000. When I found Vecoma, I put down my deposit that day because I knew at that point it was absolutely the best deal in the Atlanta area. What Vecoma charged for the wedding and reception (including the catering!) was less than what other venues charged in just rental fees. And the location is just beautiful- the trees, the river, the flowers, and not a road or shopping center in sight! The staff at Vecoma was very professional and capable- I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. My wedding was wonderful and all our guests had a wonderful time. I happily recommend Vecoma to anyone who wants a tasteful, elegant, intimate wedding without spending your life savings.

This is an excellent facility to host events. The food was delicious. The staff is remarkable and the customer service is great.

Everyone at Vecoma was so friendly, and so wonderful! They worked hard to do whatever I wanted done with as little effort on my part as possible. They also helped me think of things I had missed. They made me feel so comfortable about the whole thing! I was able to contact someone at any time of day or night to help me pin down all the details. They made everything run smoothly and the big day was perfect. Everyone talked about how nice the staff was and how good the food was. It was a terrific bargain on top of everything else! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This was such a beautiful place to have a wedding. This is what I pictured my dream wedding to look like.

Vecoma at Yellow River is a well hidden little known secret full of beauty and romance. The flowers and landscaping provide a gorgeous embellishment to any wedding, and the sounds of the river babbling over the rocks as well as the other nature sounds makes for a lovely soundtrack for the big day. If you're looking for dreams to come true this is definitely the little piece of paradise for this to happen. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better the staff of Vecoma excels above and beyond with the exceptional reasonableness and customer focused care and attention which they provide. This is a must venue on any event program, one which is guaranteed to give everybody piece of mind, and will never allow place for regrets. Writing this review has me even more excited for our big day to get here; We never got to have the big wedding of our dreams, nor do we have the wonderful photo memories to go with it, but we are planning on changing all of that come May 2012, and Vecoma is where we plan to make it all happen. Highly Recommended!

I would recommend Vecoma to anyone. Our wedding was held outdoors, thanks to the beautiful weather...it's a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. There's a beautiful arbor you can decorate, a river behind, and plenty of nature. We invited about 300 guests, and would have still been able to stay fairly close to our budget. The food is absolutely delicious, and the catering there was great as well. It would've been great to just be getting married- in a church, or wherever, but Vecoma really did make our day special. Caroline, the woman in charge, is the biggest sweetheart, and was extremely helpful.

We got married at Vecome 09/16/07 and loved it! We had the ceremony outside and reception inside. Beautiful venue and perfect weather. Carolyn took great care of us. Would definitly recommend :)

The owners were very professional and easy to work with. They were very willing to provide whatever I needed to make this day one that I would never forget. If I had to do it all over again, I would change absolutely nothing except for my niece stepping on the back of my wedding gown with her muddy shoes.

This facility is beautiful. Their menu prices are very reasonable. We were able to feed 100 people for about $4000. They have an outside facility for ceremonies, and an inside facility as well. The property is on the river and it has a beautiful view.

Vecoma was the perfect venue for a classy wedding on a budget. I did not have a wedding planner and my husband and I were paying for our own event. Vecoma was perfect for us because they took care of the details and their packages include everything you need except the cake! My one and only complaint was that we paid for the upgraded open bar, and they ran out of both Jack Daniels and Crown Royal because they only stock 1 bottle of everything. I felt that if we paid for an unlimited bar, they should have had stocked more than 1 bottle of each drink option. We were also married in the afternoon, so maybe they stock more for evening receptions. Everything else was wonderful and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an all-inclusive wedding and reception site.

My wedding reception was held here. It was absolutely beautiful. There were many photo opportunities due to the beautiful scenary. The availability with the events coordinator was superb. She was always available and willing to offer suggestions to make our day special. Their staff did a magnificent job assisting my decoration crew with the setup prior to my guests arrival. The food was plentiful and delicious! My guest constantly complimented the food's taste and presentation. The waiters and waitresses ensured all my guests were well taken care of. They even had a cake cutter on site. When the cake cutting was done, she even boxed up the remaining portion of the cake. The bartender was amazing! He created the best green Davistini!!! They were a hit amongst our guests. I would highly recommended this venue!

Being a picky bride (Bridezilla ..lol) I was amazed at how pleased I was at my wedding at Vecoma! First off it was all inclusive..wedding/reception...which was easy for my out of town guest! The place was absolutely Beautiful without decorations! The staff was exceptional and the food was great! I had a wedding of 200 and the accomodated wonderfully. Everybody is still talking about my wedding at Vecoma! I loved it! If you are looking for a site I would recomend seeing Vecoma first! It will be your first and last stop!!! Thanks Vecoma!!

Vecoma was one of the only venues I even thought about. It was close to where I grew up, close to the church and such an amazing place. My guests were amazed when they arrived at just how beautiful everything was. I myself had been there several times during the day for consultations, but I was in awe when arrived at how amazing it was. It is such a secluded place, that is so close to 78. While you are there, you would never guess that you are that close to Snellville or Stone Mountain.

I don't remember much about the food because there is so much going on, but I heard so much about how great the food was. My new hubby and I were served our dinner and drinks, the server was so kind and willing to get us anything we needed. There were a couple issues with the kegs, but the staff worked quickly to resolve the problems and provided my guests with bottled beer.

We ended up using Vecoma Photography, the "Photo Booth", and DJ Kirk; all accesable through Vecoma. The photography and the "Photo Booth " were such great choices. The "Photo Booth" was a little pricey but very enjoyable. I requested to have some mustaches in addition to the props Nancy already had and she was more than willing to find some. The album you get with it doubles as a guest book and your guests get to take their picture home with them. Vecoma Photography was such a great value. We didn't have our ceremony at Vecoma but the were more than willing to come to our church several hours before the ceremony to start pictures. For less than I could have gotten some of the other photographers I had researched, I got over 6hours with two photographers, a CD and a very nice photo album. The only thing I do not suggest is DJ Kirk, you couldn't hear/understand any of the announcements he made. If it weren't for the songs I had suggested for cake cutting, toastings, garter toss, bouquet toss, etc. we would have had no clue what was going on. He also cut my Father/Daughter dance too short without clearing it with me or my father. (We had taken multiple dance lessons) Then he cut my husbands Mother/Son dance. (This paragraphy has nothing to do with my suggestion of Vecoma itself, just suggestions when you decide to use Vecoma).

I had visited a couple other vendors before deciding on Vecoma. They were all business all the time. Many of them were beautiful had attractive features, but the ladies at Vecoma treated you as an individual as soon as you arrive. They wanted to know how my then fiance and I met and how he proposed and all about us. Caroline was always very responsive with any questions I had or if I needed to reschedule a meeting t=she was very responsive. They make you feel special, just how you should on this once in a...

Caroline and Judith provide excellent customer service. Caroline is a very talented photographer and I would highly recommend her services. Vecoma is absolutely beautiful and a very reasonably priced venue. All of our guests LOVED the food...we did the Italian feast. My only complaint would be that the food manager/coordinator for the reception seemed completely unaware of the details of the evening as far as how many tables, number of people at each table, etc. and even argued with my bridesmaids that my numbers were wrong which clearly were not and every single detail had been relayed to Vecoma previously so not sure where the communication break down came from. However, overall, we were very happy with our wedding and ceremony.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with Vecoma! The location is absolutely beautiful - I would have never expected such a quiet, beautiful location to be right off Hwy 78! I was afraid that traffic noise would be an issue during my outdoor ceremony, but there are so many trees between the highway and the venue that this wasn't an issue at all!

Vecoma definitely had the best value that I found in the metro Atlanta area - especially if you use one of their Friday night/Sunday afternoon "deals." This saved us so much money, and enabled us to have a wedding that we wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. I know that Saturdays are the most popular day for weddings, but Vecoma makes having it on a Friday or Sunday definitely worth it!!

Vecoma was extremely flexible with me - I had a few "special" requests and we were able to work out a way for me to have the day of my dreams.

At the reception, my husband and I were greeted immediately by Kirk, who was amazing the whole reception. Food and drinks were brought to our table so we didn't have to stand in line, and Kirk made sure to check on us and make sure we didn't need anything. Oh, and the food was awesome!!

Overall, we had an amazing wedding experience at Vecoma! I only had a few minor issues:
I had worked with Nancy through the entire planning process (she's amazing, btw!) and I was under the impression that she would be running our rehearsal and be there for the wedding ceremony. Instead, Caroline helped with the rehearsal and ceremony. It wasn't a huge deal, but it would have been nice to continue working with Nancy. Caroline was great too, so that wasn't really an issue in the end.

I didn't like the way that the staff cut the cake. Every single plate had HUGE slices of both the wedding cake and groom's cake, and therefore people got a lot more cake than they wanted, and a lot got thrown out. Plus a lot of people didn't get to try the groom's cake because it was gone so quickly. Again, not a huge issue, but something that bugged me a little.

I would definitely recommend using Vecoma for your wedding ceremony and/or reception!

I initially started my search for a venue for my wedding by looking through the entirety of Atlanta. Price was not much of a problem, but any I could save was most welcome. After visiting over 15 exquisite facilities and a few not so exquisite, I found that Vecoma was near the bottom of the price range and also near the top of the quality.

Vecoma is an absolutely beautiful venue, with a lovely outdoor experience. Behind the wonderful architecture of the house and the well decorated porch is a downslope of green grass leading to a beautiful ceremony spot just overlooking one of the more breathtaking points of Yellow River. With many spots ideal for photo ops as well as the background noise of a flowing river, I could think of no more ideal a location to join in union with my beloved.

Our wedding was hectic due to the fact that we put it together with only a quarter of the recommended time, but the staff at Vecoma were ever so helpful in giving us information and suggestions about how to do the wedding as neither of us had any clue of the traditions. They also helped us in locating florists and a minister that surpassed all of my expectations.

On the final day, we had our wedding, which was far more gorgeous than either of us had planned. It was truly the happiest day of my life, and I am ever grateful to the staff of Vecoma for their invaluable assistance.

Vecoma was a great place to have a wedding. The setting is great, both indoors and outdoors. And luckily if you plan an outdoor wedding and it rains you can have the ceremony inside (as was the case in ours). The reception area at night is pretty and cozy. It felt like dinner with all your friends and family but with plenty of dance space.

The staff is very friendly and I was amazed at how quickly they got the ceremony and reception areas together. They have decorations for use - but I brought my own and they set those up without a problem. The staff is good at communication - especially through e-mail and helpful with planning.

The food was fantastic. We had a buffet and people did not leave hungry.

Overall I was very impressed with the facilities and with the staff and it was the perfect place for my wedding.

It was a great pleasure getting married at Vecoma. I did not start planning my wedding until 3 months before, and I was lucky to get a wedding date here. Caroline, one of the wedding coordinators, was very nice and professional during our meetings and at the wedding. She was even able to do my photography with only 2 weeks notice. We put very little planning into the wedding and everything went as smoothly as can be. My only minor disappointment was the food. The food was not bad, but it was not what we expected for the price. Overall, I would recommend Vecoma at the Yellow River.

I found that the staff at Vecoma was VERY responsive to my needs on my wedding day. Everyone had excellent manners and I was so impressed with everything. I'm a kind of laid back person, who is use to doing everything myself and not depending on others; so I was just able to focus on getting ready and spending time with my wedding party. I felt that everything flowed smoothly and we were not rushed in any way. We both enjoyed our big day.

Excellent service, great value, excellent food and beautiful natural surroundings. The service staff was pleasant and very attentive. The inside decor is a little outdated and they should spend some time bringing it up-to-date. It is not unpleasant, but you will definitely need to decorate well to bring the beauty to your event. It was very hot the day of our wedding and the reception hall was not cool enough for our guests. If you have your event during the hot summer, insist they blast the AC many hours earlier than your event. They do not keep the hall comfortable when not in use, and it takes more time for the hall to cool off then what they currently allocate. All-in-all we were very pleased and a wonderful memory was created for the wedding reception.

I think Vecoma is a great deal for the price compared to comparable sites. The day of the wedding everything ran smoothly and the food was delicious.

Vecoma is a beautiful place for a wedding or reception. Their food is excellent, and if you are on a tight budget they can work with you. The only complaint that my husband and I have is the lack of communication. There was some mix up about what we wanted, and what we were suppose to pay for. But the ladies working here were able to straighten everything out with a few phone calls.

I LOVED VECOMA, they were amazing and made wedding planning so so easy!!! Without a doubt I recommed this venue, the people the food just everything top notch, I looked a different venues everywhere for a year and found vecoma to be perfect, whenever we renew our vows i will ive Vecoma a call!!!!! I was recently married at Vecoma, and my wedding was amazing. The place was beautiful, and there were very few hitches. The really big one was that they scheduled a rehearsal during our set up time, and the other party refused to leave when their time was up. My mother had to confront the other group, and they were really ugly to her. My guests began to show up, and we had no place to put them. I really feel that the venue should have taken care not to have that kind of situation. After that was all over, the rest of the night ran smoothly, and beautifullly.

As for the food, it was ok. We had the italian menu, and it was pretty much generic pastas and bread with the exception of the AMAZING veggie lasagna.

Vecoma was a beautiful venue for our wedding. We were a little bummed that it rained so we could not use the outside grounds, we really wanted to be able to do so.

Carolyn is extremely helpful and pleasant...and is always ready to accommodate your questions and concerns.

The food was tasty (from my perspective) some of my guest complained about the fish. But over all it was a easy place to have our wedding there. My only concern is that if you have a lot of decorations for outside and it might rain be prepared to have your decorators move everything quickly to flip the room. The event manager is helpful - Good choice if you have a simple wedding.

It was a pleasure working with Denise. She was very kind. Caroline was very , very rude to my wedding planner the day of the wedding. We were running late, and she would not stop attacking the wedding planner until we handed her a credit card. We had paid her in full two weeks before nad she had our deposit. When she confronted me, as the bride, since I had my wedding dress on and did not have a credit card handy, she demanding it right there. Thank God my husband had it in his wallet. Wedding should be as stress free as possible. Caroline, owner, gave us added stress that was not needed.

My advise to future bride, is not to work with Caroline. Request someone else to be in charge.

Other than that, we enjoyed Vecoma.

If you are going to get married or have your reception here make sure that you work with Caroline. Her partner is a little ditzy. They place was beautiful. We had our wedding and reception there. Be careful if you have a lot of older folks coming, the back hill down to the wedding arch is brutal.

I thought the venue was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Everything turned out perfectly.

Overall, Vecoma did a good job. The food was included, and good; the linens and some decor items were included in the package and the cost was quite reasonable. At the last minute we had to have our ceremony inside due to weather, and it was set up and handled quickly and efficiently. The guests had a good time at the reception and we left mostly pleased. Our concerns were in communication: we were not told that another couple would be doing a planning visit while we were setting up; we asked that they NOT set up a sweetheart table, but no one told the staff so they did; we used the in-house DJ who asked that we choose 40 songs for the reception - he may have played 10 of them, and some of the songs for both ceremony and reception were different versions than we'd requested making our timing off; finally, we were told that the staff would prepare plates for us while the guests went through the buffet line so that we could eat and still have time to mingle, but this didn't happen automatically - eventually my mother had to sak the head server - but after asking it was handled quickly. There were some unexpected positives too: we were given complimentary champagne (couple only) during our attendants' toasts, which we didn't expect; Once asked, the staff did everything they could to accomodate. Overall we had a good experience, and the cost was appropriate.

Vecoma was my first and only choice for my reception. The venue and the surrounding landscape was perfect for what I was looking for. They are located on the river and have many other places for taking beautiful pictures. I did not have my wedding ceremony here. The meeting times were pretty casual and they offered to show us around during someone else's event, which could be good and bad. The price was in the normal range for the amount of people we had there. They are limited with the number of people they can hold. Our 200 people was pushing the limits, but they did very well. They have a large open area inside with an outside back deck that can be opened for more people. The deck can be "screened" in with heaters to be used in colder months. They were very good with keeping the food coming (buffet style) and with the transitioning of toast glasses and cutting the cake.

The Vecoma itself was a beautiful place to have our reception, but I have to say that the communication from the staff was less than stellar. If we had one woman, we walked out very confussed, and then the other woman would explain everything to us, and we would walk out very confident about what we were getting. All in all, they didn't ruin my reception, we still had fun regardless, but it was a little frustrating to plan. The prices were about average.

What to say about Vecoma...........
When first looking on the venue it appears to be a beautiful location and ideal for any wedding, but the attitude and professionalism of the staff is something to be desire. When speaking with Renae, one of the planners, regarding some last minute changes, that all weddings sometimes have, she gave the impression that we were an inconvience to her, we could not afford some of the changes and I even over heard her speaking with others outside of the venue regarding monies that we owed. Althgough we had paid for the cost in full, I asked that if there were any overage to address those with my wedding planner or with us following the ceremony, but because of the lack of class and professionalism of the staff, the groom was interrupted during the recepetion reagrding monies that were need.
I have several suggestions : increased professionalism, development of tact, improved customer service, and dealing with people of different race and cultures.

My wedding day was Sunday April 3 and I just wanted to make you aware of a few things. First thing, your venue is beautiful, but your staff was horrible to me and my family. Nancy, I think that was her name was so rude to my minister during our rehersal. She stopped him just as he was praying for our wedding party and told us that we should do this at the rehersal dinner. I understand that you had a wedding coming but this was the time that YOU gave us to reherse and we still finished 15 minutes early!! She knew I was upset and came up to me and said "you are upset with me aren't you" and then just walked off!!! She did not even apologize! I was so upset and then I got to hear everyone at the dinner talk about how rude she was then also! I was so embarrassed that she would treat us that way...we did not start late and we were done early.

Now on my wedding day I could arrive at 4. I got there about 4:20 and there was a couple in the room discussing planning. I felt like an intruder on my big day. I know you are a wedding factory of sorts but to be treated as rudely as we were and then to have people in the room on MY time was very upsetting. !!
We had no forks when we cut the cake, we had no to go boxes of food ready when we left and my now husband had to beg the bar tender to give him a beer before the ceremony bc they said they were not supposed to give it out yet! You told us to just ask for it! I know we did not spend the most money out of your ceremonies but we did expect to get what was agreed upon. Rude people and things not done as promised is unacceptable! You called me after we signed the paperwork to tell me with the alcohol package we ordered there were no orderves..I would think you would know that ahead or since you told us we were getting it, stick with what was agreed upon. I was so disappointed with the service at Vecoma and I will be sure to tell it to anyone who asks.... I would like to get my security deposit back and be done with your business because I do not feel like doing business with a place that treats people this way!

The Vecoma is a stunning location to have a wedding. We have photographed weddings there several times and always have a great time and are able to create unbelievably beautiful photographs. We highly recommend this ceremony and reception location for your upcoming wedding.

I photographed a wedding at Vecoma this past fall and it was an amazing venue. There are so many spots for beautiful photographs, and the ceremony site outside next to the river is just perfect. Everything was run smoothly and fun was had by all.
