It gives me great pleasure to write this review based on reading previous reviews. I really needed to do this. IT also BEGS THE QUESTION in my mind "WHAT'S THE MOTIVATION"..
Our honeymoon begins tomorrow, I am still in awe of our wedding venue when I arrived, your team transformed it from dud to spectacular, it was truly magical.
I am really glad Helen recommended you, although I was a little skeptical based on some of the things I read. What a fantastic way to dispel the myths by delivering on everything you promised and going above and beyond what you were contracted to do. Thank you for saving us money on the limo, photos and catering by suggesting your contacts.
Our decor and flowers were fabulous and exactly what we envisioned all within our budget.
Kindly continue to service clients who can appreciate what a wedding planner does and all the free time you have given us without requesting any additional compensation, it's a testament to your dedication, your craft and reflects your grace.
As believers, Orlando and I say "God Bless you", remember never let anyone's negativity over shadow your purpose in life. Wickedness will be rewarded by wickedness in Jesus.

I hired Veronica in September 2010 for my wedding in October 2011. I hired her for fulltime services because I was really busy and needed the help. That was the worst decision I had ever made. First off she has this way of going MIA when you need her and do not return messages until she feels like it. Also from September to July 2011 when our contract ended, all she did for me was refer me to the place I got my invitations, flowers and décor (same person), and the plaza I bought my wedding dress at. I found everything else myself including my hall and when I took her with me to the hall to finalize things she was on the phone a lot. Also when I took her dress shopping with me she got upset because I didn't buy my dress from the store she wanted me to so she then went on a smoke break while I tried on dresses in the new store. When she finally can in the store she didn't really have much to say like she did in the store she liked. Also I hired her for full time services but she never went anywhere with me other than the hall, the invitation place and the wedding dress store. All the other times she always wanted to meet at her house which was a waste of time because we did nothing. Also when it was time to go look at invitations, she told me she booked an appointment and when I went the people had no idea who she was and I had no appointment and she didn't show up. I then had to book my own appointment and then when she came to that one she once again sent a lot of time outside on her phone. Finally in July 2011 she and the flower lady had a falling out and Veronica wanted me to fire the lady because of some issue they were having that did not concern me. So when I told her no I will not fire the lady, she quit on me and took my money that I had paid her so far which was $550. When I asked her for some of my money back she said now and stopped returning calls and emails. So now I am stuck with trying to find a new wedding planner 2 months before my wedding and then after she quit I found out that she lies a whole lot and that things that she was supposed to handle she never did and now I am soooooooooo stressed out 9 weeks before my wedding trying to do thing that should have been done months ago. I would not recommend Veronica to anyone at ALL!!!!!!!! BIRDES BE VERY AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put my wedding day for July 16th because that's the day she quit on me and weddingwire would not let me post until after I get married but my really wedding is not until October 21st 2011. I just couldn't wiat that long to tell other brides about her because I would hate for someone else to go through what I went through.

Hello Everyone, My name is Meckada.
Its very sad to see what has been writen by Rose. Considering the fact that we tired our best to meet her needs. I am who Rose referred to as "the helper". This was the worse encounter i've ever had in the business. It was very unforunate that Rose and her family were so controlling and unorganized. Even down to her wedding song hadn't been picked and given to the DJ prior to her wedding day. I was running around "like a chicken with my head cut of" SIMPLY because I was trying to download her request at the LAST MINUTE on my Iphone; not to mention she couldn't even remember what the song was called, but only who the artist was. As for food and drinks i REFUSED each time i was asked!! Its unforunate that Rose's insecurities,incompetence,and obsessive compulsive disorder created a zoo on her Wedding Day.I couldn't wait for it to be over. P.s how little of you to come online and write a comment about feelings that should of been expressed to Veronica. It really speaks volumes about you as a person. Never the less, May God best your Marriage.
Very good before the day of the wedding. Great talker and very friendly, but could not deliver on the day of.
Bridesmaids had to be walked back down the aisle of the church by the minister because she forgot to send the parents (I was waiting in the limo and saw commotion, but did not know till afterward what happened). Walking down the aisle she did not set my dress, as I had asked her to do, which is evident in my pictures.
At the end of the ceremony we walked back down the aisle and she forgot to open the doors so we had to open them ourselves.
At the reception had a 'helper' there that did nothing more than drink the champagne and eat the appetizers. She ran around like a chicken with her head cut off, and things did not go smoothly until I just took the reins back.
If she's offering a one day service then should have a list of things that are required from the customer.
The hall was more than happy to see her go, and she caused them more havoc than was helpful.
I would not recommended her to anyone.
Great personality, really disappointed that she was not able to deliver.

I am allowed to review my experience with your service. That is the point of this site, and did not say anything out of order, just my experience. I have stated that you were a very personable person, and very nice when meeting with you, and that is why I was disappointed with how things turned out.
1st and foremost we were late for the wedding due to the driver not being able to locate my home. If you would like to speak to the company, we had notified them as we were waiting. Also, my videographer and photographer were there as well, and no McDonald's stop was made because the salon had provided breakfast.
The groomsmen where there on time, and they had no such conversation with the minister with him not wanting to do the wedding. He acknowledged the fact that we were late, but if you would like for me to get something from the church for you stating that the ceremony was never not going to be completed (unless of course I didn't show up). I have spoken to all these vendors after the fact let me assure you.
2ndly You did however not do what I asked, which was set my dress (which I have the photo's and video for, when walking down the aisle), and you were not there to open the door (which you had done on the day , of the rehearsal and we were expecting - also on video if you would like to see).
3rd The hall did not ask for your assistance in assisting them, and according to them you were more of a hindrance.
4th If you were waiting for an hour outside, why did you not call my cell phone sooner? Why did you wait the hour? We were never out of cell phone reach, as we were only down the street from the church?
5th in regards to food being eaten and 'drink' whether alcoholic or not being consumed I do have that on video as well. I am not saying that you were not allowed to do so, as there was more than enough food, but it was just disheartening. If you had done the job the way that we had discussed then I really would not have cared. I paid for means for all the other vendors, you helping yourself as well is nothing bad if the service was done.
- I never stated the table setting issue was your fault, what I did say is that you were no help with the situation either.
I have stated my experience with you Veronica. I do not have to look within myself because I know what you did and did not do. I have the footage, and I have my agreement with you. You were/are a very nice individual and I am sure that you are great at assisting with others weddings (as evident by some of the things which you showed us), but I am permitted to give my review of you.
Others are more than welcome and it is there right to try your service, as I do not speak for everyone. Others may have a wonderful and have had wonderful experiences with you, however I am not one of them.
I do not wish you any ill will, or your business, but wish you all the success and that we all learn something in the end.

Hi Rose, Thank you so much for your review it helps us to review some of our business strategies which has taken us to a higher level of success in servicing our clients.
Just thought I needed to add more specifics to your comments so everyone has a fair and balance perspective. We both know the circumstances that lead to minor confusion at the church and reception on your Wedding Day.
Kindly keep in mind we were hired for the 'Day of Services only'. You advised us, you had planned your wedding and everything was in place for the big day. Our agreement was all the necessary information will be provided to us, one week in advance and we will create a 'Day of " itinerary. After multiple phone calls and promises up to the night of your rehearsal which I coordinated and attended, it never materialized. e.g seating arrangements, song choices for the DJ and time line for the reception.
I arrived at the church on-time for the ceremony and spent most of my morning pleading (hands and knees were the next steps) with your minister not to leave due to tardiness. When you arrived later than expected after the McDonald stop according to the driver the minister basically rushed the wedding party down the aisle and out of the sanctuary due to another engagement he was running late waiting for you. At the reception, being locked out of the hall for one(1)hour because management was never aware your 'Day of" Wedding Planner was going to be on site. I immediately began lifting boxes upon boxes of guest favors about 200 pieces (wine bottles), in my reception attire then arranging all of them, setting up your decor, which a decor company was hired to do and were 2 hours behind. This was not in our contract for the 'DAY OF' services, we were not paid to do this, however we did to make your day special. Please be honest with yourself and the audience when making statements about someones efficiency, especially when they have gone more than the extra mile for you.
My assistant was very offended by your comments about her drinking your champagne. FYI.... She has never had a drink in her life due to religious beliefs (beverage of choice sparking water and lemon or spritzer and lemon).
Professional, creative, always going above and beyond. This is how I would describe Veronica as my wedding planner. She did an incredible job and way always on top of every detail and issue that came up.

Our Winter Wedding on January 2, 2010 was absolutely amazing. We loved the theme you suggested and although we had a huge budget for this occasion you where there giving suggestions and ways we can save money on things we though we needed but did not.
I was truly amazed at your sunny personality, professionalism and creative ideas for our Hall decorations, Centrepieces, bridesmaid flowers and guest favours. Our greatest comfort was knowing everything we wanted was available under one roof and we did not have to visit several vendors due to our busy careers to source thorough multiple contacts. Your fee was also well within what we wanted to spend and on par with industry charges.
My mom and sister Thea(MOH)was so impressed with your fashion sense, assisting her in selecting an appropriate outfit for the ceremony and reception. P.S..... SHE LOVES YOU!
I was totally blown away at your choice of Limos for our Special Day. We gave you an idea of what we wanted and you delivered.
Please extend our sincere gratitude to your assistant Meckada who has answered our questions over the last year, time and time again and always made us feel special.
