Everyone has been raving about our photos! We could not have been any happier with Vicki and Erik. Not only do they do great work but they were absolutely professional and fun to be around. They are the best!

Vicki and Erik are not only fantastic photographers but they are great people. They absolutely enjoy their job and it reflects in their work. They made every effort to get to know Todd and I before they started taking pictures. In fact, we had a small ceremony in Philadelphia a month before a large reception. Vicki and Erik were flexible enough to come to Philadelphia to shoot our ceremony (even though we initially only booked them for the reception). We received our final pictures in time to display a bunch of the pictures at our reception. We didn’t stop getting compliments. Their talent is beyond incredible. They are so warm, creative, talented and outgoing (they even sent a thank you card for chosing them). They are truly the best!

In short, Vicki and Erik were awesome :-) This wife and husband team were one of my favorite wedding vendors, and I am so happy we had them document our wedding day. Their photos are absolutely beautiful, and they are amazing people to work with. Along with wedding day pics, we did an engagement session (definitely worth doing to get comfortable being stalked by a camera), photo guest book using the engagement pics (turned out absolutely beautiful). We primarily chose them for their natural style and artistic aesthetic - they captured all of the emotions of our wedding day so perfectly - our happiness really comes through in the photos. Not only are the photos great, Vicki and Erik (who are super cute together!) were very easy to work with - they were responsive by email, very organized (I was amazed at their efficiency in taking all our family photos, bridal party pics, AND a number of bride and groom portraits, all during the cocktail hour, and all the pics came out amazing!), and definitely helped make the wedding day go super smoothly. Even beyond their photography duties, they helped calm me down before the ceremony - Erik even had a tide stick for me as I freaked out about a small stain I discovered on my dress half an hour before the ceremony, and a pair of scissors for tux button malfunctions. You will definitely be happy with Vicki and Erik :-)

If I could sing the praises of Vicki and Erik from a mountaintop, I would! Their creativity and passion shines through in their work. They are sweet, kind, and completely professional. They go above and beyond and have a vested interest in their brides and grooms. My husband and I felt completely comfortable with them. Our friends and family can't get over how amazing our engagement photos are. We can't wait to see the wedding photos once they are ready.Once they are done taking the couples photos, you won't notice them at the reception. They are discreet and working hard capturing everything that is happening at the reception. They do not interfere with the festivities at all.If Vicki and Erik are available to photograph your wedding, hire them. Don't think twice. If you aren't sure about the value, let me tell you this: make this your wedding splurge. You won't be disappointed at all.

Vicki and Erik are the most professional and down to earth people EVER. Every meeting, conversation, email was genuine, caring and intuitive. They were easy and comfortable to work with and did everything we asked, and more. Their photos bring tears to my eyes because of their ability to capture moments that remind you of the exact emotion you were feeling at the moment it was taken. Amazing is the best word to describe both Erik and Vicki … and their photos!When we first saw their work we knew immediately we wanted them to be the ones to capture our big day … and they did not disappoint! They are more than just wedding photographers … they are true artists! They caught moments and scenes from our wedding that really represent the fun celebration we had. They were recommended to me by friends, who had them as their wedding photographers and could not say enough great things about them. I have showed our wedding pictures to countless people and all have said they have never seem such great photos. Vicki and Erik are extremely professional, they are organized and detail oriented. They asked what types of shots we would like, asked about all of the wedding and reception details, and even sent out a questionairre with even more questions about the ceremony, reception, guests, etc. They made it easy to relax on our wedding day and enjoy the day, and we knew they were capturing all of our special moments. During the ceremony, they were very inconspicuous, and when I look at the photos I am in awe of how they got the shots and were so far away! They both have such an incredible artistic eye, and really can capture the emotion of the couple and the feeling of the day. They are incredibly efficient- we had our first pictures within a few short weeks. Plus, they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We are already brainstorming ideas to have another photo shoot just to work with them again. Vicki and Erik were such an important part of our day, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! I have since referred every person I can to them, there is no one else I'd want for my special day.

Let’s cut right to the chase here, Vicki and Erik are fantastic! You can’t go wrong with this team for your wedding. We were originally referred to them by another wedding photographer and from the moment we first met them we were completely at ease and knew they were the ones for us. During the early planning stages and engagement session, we could tell that we made the right choice…Erik and Vicki are always professional, thorough, and courteous. They certainly know how to get a feel for what couples want and what looks best for them. While they have a very well trained eye for what to shoot and where, they are also very open minded and receptive to the ideas and wants of their clients, blending traditional requests with a flair for the dramatic, and always capturing the mood of the moment at the perfect time. I don’t have the technical background to opine on the finer details (lighting, editing, focus, etc) of their end product, but I can say unequivocally that we continue to receive rave reviews on our wedding pictures. Friends and family frequently say they are among the best shots they have seen. While we love hearing that and the confirmation that we made the right choice with Team Souza, of equal if not greater importance is the feedback we get from other photographers as well, including a professional fashion photographer who told us “you could not do any better than Vicki and Erik …the finished product is just spectacular!”Beyond the wonderful pictures they take, Vicki and Erik are extremely reliable and dependable. As the calendar closes in on the wedding date and you start to stress over the details and confirming orders and times with everyone, know that the photographer is one vendor you do not have to worry about it. Very simply, they do what they say they will do, they show up on time, and there are no surprises on the billing or invoicing…not easy to say these days but they do it all right from start to finish. Without getting into the details, suffice it to say that our wedding had some extraordinary events occur that tested the skills and experience of all of our vendors. One shows their true colors in the face of chaos, and to say that Erik and Vicki rose to the occasion would be an understatement. They were helpful, thoughtful, and compassionate at the right time, but all the while maintained the highest level of professionalism to ensure that we stayed the course and did not miss capturing any of the once in a lifetime moments. We will forever be grateful for how they handled the evening and allowed us to smile, laugh, and dance the night away with our friends and family. We were so pleased with the end product from the wedding that we continue to use them for other family pictures and (soon to be released) holiday cards too, and we are completely at ease referring others to them as well. We are so incredibly in love with Vicki & Erik Souza! They were amazing photographers and overall great people. The photos from our wedding are gorgeous and many of our friends have booked them after seeing them! If you really want to have amazing photographs for your wedding and/or engagement, Vicki and her husband Eric are truly the best! They shot our engagement and wedding photographs. They are both incredibly comfortable to work with and both capture gorgeous shots. They really listened to our input and were so open to our ideas; even though we started them off at a tree by a prison! Ha,ha! It was so much fun to work with them and we are so thankful that we chose them to capture our big day. My sister has just booked them for her wedding and all of my friends and relatives were equally impressed! Just look at her samples; they speak for themselves!

Vicki and Erik provide amazing photos and excellent customer service. They always made us feel that we were their top priority, which is what any bride wants! Within a couple weeks after our wedding they delivered wonderful photos that truly captured the day, without ever getting in the way at the wedding (and without exceeding our budget!). Victoria Souza Photography is phenomenal! The husband / wife team are uber professional but still connect with clients making you feel like old friends. They don't just take pictures, but capture moments and emotion. We loved them so much we are planning on hiring them again for family photos.

My husband and I met with a good number of photographers, more than any other vendor, because we felt that the pictures (aside from the venue) were going to be the most important decision. We met with photographers we had been referred to, we met with "world renowned" photographers and we met with photographers with over 30 years of experience. Then we met with Vicki. Vicki was not the most experienced and we had only found her through a search on the internet, but I liked the pictures on her site and her prices seemed very reasonable so we decided to sit with her anyway. One of the first things I noticed when talking with her was how passionate she is about photography and in particular how much she enjoys being able to be the one capturing all the special moments between loved ones that happen in her engagement sessions and weddings. She was also very fun and easy to get along with. After some discussion we decided to go with her. The decision was based on price, the quality and style of her pictures, and also because we felt so comfortable with her that we knew we would be able to look comfortable and natural in the pictures she took.

We met at a park in CT for the engagement session and it was just a great day! We walked around the park and Vicki and her husband Erik would follow us around taking candid shots. They would point to a spot and say, "That looks pretty, why don't you go over there and hang out". They gave enough direction that we didn't feel awkward in our positions or movements but then let us go so that we weren't stiff. Half the time we forgot they were there! Vicki had a sample of the pictures ready almost immediately and got the rest of the pictures to us in no time. We were so happy with the pictures that we couldn't wait for the wedding just to see the pictures we would get!

The wedding went even better than the e-session. During the ceremony and the reception they were virtually invisible. They were never in the way and they didn't set up forced "candid" shots. they stood back and chronicled the day for us catching the best bits and pieces. Even the formal shots were made fun. Vicki and Erik are very creative and are totally open to suggestions of fun shots or they can go as formal as you'd like. You can make of your photo sessions what you want of them. We have so many perfect shots, so many amazing moments captured we're not even sure what to frame!

The bottom line is, my husband and I would recommend Vicki, or both Vicki and Erik to anyone who wants a great photographer. They are so easy to get along with, they are professional, and they take amazing shots. They can do formal shots and fun goofy shots and they all come out great. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with our photographer and we couldn't have gotten better pictures to remember our day by.

We had been searching for a photojournalist and were so glad to have found Victoria Souza Photography. Vicki helped us every step of the way, during our planning and on our big day with last minute details. Our engagement and wedding pictures turned out phenomenal! She is such a talented and artistic photographer, if you are looking for unique photography look no further! Some of our guests have since contacted her for their own personal shoots and we are looking forward to our trash the dress session with her in the next month or so!

She was wonderful to work with, she took time to get to know us as people and she made sure she captured what we wanted from our day. Vicki was with me all day on my wedding day -- from the hair dresser to getting ready to the church and the reception. She covered everything! But, it's important to knwo that she was NEVER intrusive. She didn't upstage any part of our day. Vicki amazing got every shot without ever interfering with our day.
