Village Bridal

Got my dress here in November 2011. I live in Seattle but my Grandma and aunt live in the LA area and my Mom had been visiting from Chicago.

I had a truly great experience. Debbie and Jennifer's sister-in-law (Melissa I think?) helped me with the dresses and was so patient. I had the whole store to myself and literally tried on 30 dresses!

I narrowed it down to my top picks and really fell in love with a beaded organza Mori Lee dress in ivory. I hadn't really though about that color, but when Jennifer offered me a 25% discount to buy the sample (since it fit just perfectly) i couldn't resist the deal.

After reading another review that they've now closed, I'm a little upset that I was not made aware of their circumstances as I came in November, which looks to be during the time when they must have been planning their transition to an off-the-rack store and eventual closing. At any rate, I'm also sad to hear that the store has closed because i was so happy with my experience there. My advice for all future brides is to find a place that can really dedicate their time and attention to you - no bride should be given a time or try-on limit. We might not all get the Kleinfeld's treatment, but we should at least have a positive experience when we eventually Say Yes to The Dress!

I had a rather short engagement of 4 months and when I started to see/hear comments that a wedding dress could take 6-9 months, I had my first (and only) wedding panic attack. A family friend directed me to this little dress shop and I will thank her for doing so forever! Debbie and Jennifer were kind, calm, friendly and funny, and they made us feel like family. Not only was I able to find a dress that I loved during my first fitting, it was a perfect fit and I was able to walk out the door with it that day! Even for a small place, they have a large number of beautiful wedding dresses on hand (they can order others in), hand sewn veils, formal gowns, MOB/MOG dresses, and accessories... but most of all, they are very customer focused and really do make one feel at home in their shop.

Very cute store with a decent amount of gowns. This was my second bridal shop appointment of the same day (I wanted to buy a dress and stop looking) and I was convinced that I had found my gown at the prior store.

I was most excited to see the exact same dress at Village Bridals but did try on 6 or 7 other dresses before trying on "the" dress. Well it most definitely confirmed that this was the one but the VERY best part was this exact same dress was $187. cheaper at Village Bridal. Then I figured they must get you with the "additions" you know, steam pressing, bustling, storage fee etc. Well to my surprise INCLUDED in the price of my gown was free steam pressing, free garment bag, free storage, and she quoted me $10 a point for the bustle which is alot cheaper than I have found anywhere. Needless to say I ordered my dress from them.

I told a friend about this great shop and her Mother had fallen in love with a Mom's dress at another store but they didn't have it in her size and the wedding was only 7 weeks away. Mom called up Village Bridal and they were able to put a rush order on this very same dress in the correct size and Mom is ecstatic.

My dress was PERFECT, affordable and Village Bridal was just terrific. My bustle turned out great and I couldn't have been happier.

I really enjoyed working with this place. The only reason I gave them a 3 on responsiveness is because I had to call on 4 different occasions and left messages but never got a call back then we called a 5th time and they answered but did not apologize for never responding. They were very nice and it was a beautiful dress and a beautiful shoppe. When I dealt with them in person they were very sweet and courteous!

This was absolutely the best find. This store has the most amazing wedding dresses and the prices are so resonable. The owners Debbie and Jennifer are so wonderful to work with. It was just a joy and the most pleasant experience. They are wonderful on alterations as well. Very resonable. Would recommend this place to everyone.

As the future mother in law, I was very impressed with Village Bridal. They have a great selection of beautiful gowns. We were treated with such care and consideration! Our time at the shop was very productive and we were able to see as many gowns as were available. The pricing of the gowns was very reasonable for the calliber of gowns that are offered. I will definitely be going to Village Bridal when I have to choose the dress for my son's wedding next year!!

After months and months of looking for the perfect bridal dress on a budget I found Village Bridal a beautiful boutique shop that carries Mori Lee Dresses. I instantly felt in love with one of their Mori Lee Dresses and bought it, both Debbie and Jennifer are super nice and extremely patient they understand brides and do their best to make you feel comfortable. They are amazing! Unfortunately my original Mori Lee Dress didn’t fit and my wedding is to close to add extra stress of losing weight. Debbie and Jennifer turned my worse nightmare into a fairytale. They instantly found me an even more beautiful Mori Lee Dress that fits perfect! Not a lot of bridal stores will exchange your wedding dress or even care about you on a personal level to help you when in such situation! I would have to say my experience with them has been amazing I always recommend them to a lot of my friends 3 of my girl friends have already gotten there wedding dress with them. I also got all of my bridesmaid’s dresses they have a wonderful selection. They seriously make every girls dream come true. Amazing Ladies to work with they are extremely reasonable in price too!
