Appetizers: crab cakes = wonderful; cheese stuffed new potatoes = also very good; selection of crudites and cheeses = I did not have any, but someone wrote in our guest book "you have the best cheese!" so I think it was pretty good. butler service was good, and the presentation on the tables was nice as well.dinner: salad of mixed baby greens with gorgonzola and candied pecans, choice of balsamic or raspberry viniagrette = excellent; chicken wellington = delicious; glazed baby carrots = undercooked (as were haricot verte when I went in for a tasting, I think maybe they have problems with veggies?); rice pilaf = good. service was good. Tony was very easy to work with. Pretty broad selection of dishes and reasonable prices. Great about accommodating guests with special dietary needs. Would not hesitate to use Village Caterers again.

The food was wonderful and everyone commented that it was great. Service was great. Tony is very professional and wants to make sure you have great service. We were given the food for the price that we were originally quoted even though the prices had changed and we had received the wrong price sheets which was very fair. The only negative was that the salads had cheese even though we requested no cheese...but that wasn't too big of a deal. They were accommodating to our vegetarian guests which was a plus.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. The service, food, presentation and professionalism were everything I was hoping for.

Great food and service! Went off without a hitch and everyone was so impressed. Good value too. Tony was wonderful to work with as well.

My cousins recommended me to this caterer. They did a pretty good job for me for my wedding reception. The staff were friendly. The event was seamless.
