Vincent did my trial MU last Tuesday before I ran off to take boudoir pics which turned out so amazing. Vincent and I talked our session away, next thing I knew I was lookin' smoking hot!!!! He has incredible TALENT and a magic touch. I don't think I would ever let anyone do my make-up other than him (can't wait on how beautiful he's going to make me look on my wedding day). Thanks to Michelle/tc14377, I am ruined for life! LOL!

i love vincent's amazing work! he helped me to believe in his ability to capture what a bride should look like on her wedding day. i received so many compliments on my wedding day that i am a repeat customer. vincent also did my makeup for a recent wedding that i had went to and again, he was superb! so many ppl complimented on how great i looked and they were asking me for his contact number. so far, ive gotten at least 6 brides here on project wedding to give them vincent's number; and they got only good things to say about him. if u want someone who will transform u into a stunning and gorgeous bride, i think u should book him right away because his schedule is pretty busy!

One of the beauty and fashion industry’s brightest rising stars, Tran brings his passion for beauty, a unique eye for fashion and expertise in digital photography and Photoshop to the Asian-American canvas.
“The challenge is to raise the standards in our Asian-American industry to meet those of the mainstream,” says Tran. “Beauty and fashion is a huge market, and the diversity of women it appeals to is critical to its success. There’s this heavy pressure to not only make a name for myself and constantly challenge myself in the area of makeup artistry, but also to actually translate that for women of all ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds.”
Tran was born in Saigon and emigrated from Vietnam to Minnesota as a toddler, but has obviously been quite successful as a California-based makeup artist. He understands how to translate that amazing Euro-Asian style right back out there.
Obsessed with beauty
His obsession with beauty began as early as five years old. Since his small town childhood, Tran has dreamed of traveling the world doing makeup, styling hair, and meeting inspiring people. At one point, Tran “dabbled” in photography, but the self-proclaimed “product junkie” knew that makeup was his calling. Through over four years of hard work, two years of experience with MAC Cosmetics, and an unstoppable attitude, opportunities are knocking and he’s finally starting to make that dream a reality. He’s painted faces and styled hair for weddings on the beaches of Los Angeles, fashion photo shoots on the streets of Seattle, and beauty pageants for the bright stages of Las Vegas.
Tran’s work can be seen on the editorial pages of beauty, fashion & lifestyle magazines and fashion photography calendars. His beauty pageant clients include contestants and queens anywhere from the local to the international scale.
Tran is able to interpret each woman’s individuality and create a unique look for her. “I love working with women,” he said. “And to bring all the tips and tricks and my knowledge of color to women everywhere – on a global level – is my ultimate mission. I love color and texture. Glamour is not self-conscious; it’s not trying really hard. It’s just expressing your own truth. I think that’s what the essence of glamour really is – expressing your uniqueness.”
Future palette
So what does the future hold for Tran? Maybe his makeup artistry will be seen in international advertising campaigns with New York models? Maybe he’ll give expert advice to international publications on makeup, application, colors and trends? Create his magic on some of the most legendary faces from the worlds of fashion, music and film? Become a best selling author, iconic make-up artist and beauty entrepreneur?

LOOK ONE: SMOKEY EYESBASE: First wash your face with warm water and use your regular moisturizer to prep your skin. (I normally use Mac studio moisture fix $20.00 moisturizer or clinic moisturizer). Let the moisturizer set for 1 or 2 mins. Then apply your liquid or cream foundation (Mac studio fix liquid foundation $24.00). After that you set your foundation with a press powder (Mac select sheer pressed powder $19.50). Then contour your cheekbone with bronzer (Mac golden bronze $19.50). EYEBROWS: Fill in ur eyebrows with eyebrow pencil (Mac brow pencil: lingering $14)EYES: Apply eyes cream base (Mac paint base: Bare canvas $16.50) all over to keep your eyeshadows last all day long. Then use Mac shade stick (gentle lentle $16.50) apply on your eyelids. After that apply brown eyeshadow on the eyelids (Mac eyeshadow: Mulch $14.00) Then apply black eyeshadown at the end of your eyes to give that smokey look (Mac eyeshadow: Blacktied $14.00) Then highlight your eyes with light eyeshadow (Mac eyeyshadow: Rice paper $14.00) under your eyebrows. Finish with black eye liner and fake lashes.
