This bed and breakfast is ideal for eloping or for a small ceremony. I have nothing but rave reviews for Kimberlee and Michael (the innkeepers). Their friendliness and attention to detail made our wedding a fantastic experience.

About Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast
Steeped in unique history Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast is gracefully poised on more than 2.5 secluded acres of formal gardens and woodlands. Formerly the 'Jackson & Perkins Rose
Company Estate', this historic Tudor built in 1844 and tastefully furnished with antiques, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You will be embraced by its charm! Located in the village of Newark in the Finger Lakes region
of New York, we are only two blocks from the Erie Canal and a convenient drive to Rochester and Syracuse. Vintage
Gardens Bed & Breakfast offer a number of wedding packages, event venues and can accommodate small to large parties. Our common areas are beautifully appointed, and provide an intimate and
comfortable environment for special events. We can accommodate garden weddings of up to 150 people and intimate indoor weddings up to 20 people year round.
We work with a select list of the areas finest caterers and event vendors such as rental companies, florists, musicians and photographers and we are happy to assist you in planning your
occasion.
Vintage Gardens offers a variety of Ceremony Locations. Garden Ceremonies can be
held between May through mid October. The picturesque areas feature manicured lawns, a formal rose garden with fountain, woodlands and a Pergola. For smaller indoor weddings Vintage Gardens offers the use of the ground floor of the house year
round. Any of these areas will create a beautiful background for your wedding ceremony.
Our packages range from $900 to $1,700 and New York requires that we charge an additional 8% sales tax for all events.
Please note that the wedding couple will have the private use of Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast the day of the wedding and late check-out the next day. We also offer a reduced rate for your
wedding guests if you choose to reserve a room for them at Vintage Gardens.

Wedding Package $1,500
Garden Ceremony May through October
20 - 100 guests maximum
Use of Sunroom, Parlor, Library and 2nd floor guest bathroom.
One hour rehearsal time (date and time to be mutually agreed upon).
Use of garden areas for wedding ceremony
Use of English Tea Rose for Bridal Party and Room American Beauty Room for the Grooms Party to get ready for ceremony.
Massage for the Bride (at local salon).
Basket of Vintage Gardens bath products for the Bride.
Hors d’oeuvres, sparkling beverage and coffee for Bridal Party.
Gift bag of Vintage Gardens bath products for each bridesmaid (up to 5 bridesmaids).
One night’s accommodations for Bride and Groom in the Asian Lily Suite this includes a gourmet breakfast room service the next morning.
Location for two-hour photo shoot prior to wedding (date and time to be mutually agreed upon).
Area for Reception
20 folding chairs, 2 8ft. tables and one 4ft. table Set-up and teardown.

The cost of holding a wedding garden ceremony at Vintage Gardens is $1,500 for weddings with 21 – 100 guests (weddings up to 150 people are an additional $200). This fee includes time for a 2 hour photo shoot prior to wedding (date and time to be mutually agreed upon), 6 hours total for the rehearsal, wedding ceremony and reception.
The maximum number of guests allowed is 150 people.
We do not offer catering but work with a select list of the areas finest caterers and event vendors such as florists, musicians and photographers and we are happy to assist you in planning your occasion.

Vintage Gardens allows you to provide your own musicians, but only allows unamplified music in gardens for the event.

Yes, Vintage Gardens will provide a reduced rate of 10% for your wedding guests if you choose to reserve a guest room for them before, day of or after your wedding.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Alcohol is not permitted on the grounds of Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast without prior permission from the owners of Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast and must be served by a licensed caterer.

What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
Your florist may use floral wire to decorate the Pergola and or the metal arches in the rose garden, but glue, tacks, nails, sticky tack, tape or other adhesives are not permitted at any location on the property. Couples may decorate the pergola or the metal arches. Due to uneven ground, we do not permit aisle runners, but the outdoor aisle locations may be outlined with real rose petals, plants, etc. Throwing of rice or confetti is not allowed, but scattering or throwing flower petals or birdseed is permitted.

Bathroom facilities are available in the house but are not handicap accessible. Handicap accessible facilities can be obtained for an addional fee.
Describe your parking facilities:
Guests should be encouraged to arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and park in the designated parking lot located approximately two blocks from the ceremony site. This will help your guests to get to the wedding site in a timely manner. Street parking is not allowed. Guest can be dropped off at the ceremony site before the driver parks in the specified parking location. Vintage Gardens will furnish copies of parking directions for inclusion in wedding invitations. Off site parking is located two blocks away.
Bridal parties can arrive two hours before the ceremony. There are a limited number of parking spaces available for the bridal party at Vintage Gardens. We encourage the bridal party to park in specified parking location two blocks from the house.
