Vinton War Memorial

One of my very favorite venues in the Roanoke Valley! The newly renovated Vinton War Memorial is an exquisitely appointed venue that makes it perfect for a wonderful engagement party, rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. And while the venue is wonderful, it is far surpassed by the staff - so friendly and helpful, always ready to make your event the best possible!!

We always enjoy working at the Vinton War Memorial because the staff is always so friendly and on the ball, which helps make the evening move along smoothly. The renovation was definitely the best thing the War Memorial could have done to improve its status as a modern and stylish venue for any event. If you haven’t seen the War Memorial since it’s been renovated, it’s definitely worth a look!

This venue is truly beautiful! I love how everything is all under one roof! The staff is extremely helpful and always willing to answer any and all questions. No need to worry about renting tables and chairs its all included. I also love how there are no small hidden charges for items like their projectors, screens, laptop and sound equipment. Check this place out its wonderful!

I have loved working with the Vinton War Memorial. They try VERY HARD to make sure the client is happy and have always gone above and beyond the call of duty. It is such a beautiful venue and have had some wonderful events there. It is always a pleasure to be there.

Beautiful venue for your wedding or large event, all under one roof!

I love working with the Vinton War Memorial for wedding receptions. The venue itself has wonderful warmth that contributes to the photography from events that I have photographed there. It also has room for the guests to spread out some on the patio off the far end of the ballroom where a lot of guests like to congregate to socialize. There is plenty of room inside as well with lots of space for a band, dancing, and catering setups, leaving sufficient space to get around easily as well. Draperies and a fireplace lend a nice soft touch to the room and neutral colors allow flexibility in creating just about any wedding decor/theme. Finally, one of the most important things to consider in venue selection is the staff and management. These have always been exceptional at the VWM. I'm sure every vendor who has worked the VWM find the staff there eager to help in any way they can. That makes for a very pleasant experience for every one and certainly helps vendors provide their mutual client with the best service and product possible.
