Anita & her team at VIP Chicago Brides were amazing! From the time I met Anita at VIP Chicago brides to the time she arrived on my wedding day,I knew the overall beauty transformation would be perfect. She delivered in every aspect which set the tone for an amazing celebration.
On the day of the wedding everything was very hectic, however Anita's flexibility for at home service really eased the khaos. It is very convienant for her to be able to do hair and make-up in the comfort of our home.
If you are looking for quality, convience, and personality I would recommend VIP Chicago Brides with no reservation.

Definitely recommend VIP Chicago Brides!!! Anita is amazing! She is super sweet and laid-back, and her hair and makeup skills are everything I could have asked for. Also, she herself has awesome style (I love her hair!), so you know you can trust her.
I found her through WeddingWire, and she definitely offered the best value out of all the other makeup/hair artists that I considered. It was super easy to schedule a trial session at her downtown location, and she's very open and does not impose her opinion on you (unless you're making an absolutely horrible mistake!). I also did a keratin conditioning treatment with her the day before the wedding, which she discounted majorly for me.
On the day of the wedding, Anita was punctual and efficient -- we had a fairly strict schedule, and she and her assistant Monica were perfect at getting everyone ready (me and 4 bridesmaids) on time. Everyone looked and (more importantly) felt beautiful.
My only faint criticism is that it was difficult to reach her about 2 weeks before the wedding, to set the schedule, but it turns out that she was on vacation. But no worries, everything worked out great. She always returns phone calls, and is easily reachable by e-mail or texting.

Anita was very friendly to me on the day of my wedding. She not only helped me look beautiful, but she helped me with my jewelry as well. I had a great trial experience in her downtown location, and the wedding was flawless. I recommend Anita to those of you who want the perfect wedding.

Anita and her assistant arrived early and ready to work-- they even provided music for us while we were getting ready! She was great to work with and did her best to give me the hairstyle and make-up I asked for. Since we didn't have a trial (I am an out-of-state bride), we had to fix a few things on the hairstyle. But Anita did it without complaining, and she did it quickly. Most importantly--the end result was perfect!!! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair as well! And the make-up stayed put all night! Anita even did a bit of touch-up on my husband's face-- he felt perfectly comfortable with her!

VIP Chicago Brides will closely accompany you throughout the process of preparing your bridal look. We offer trials at the Evanston salon, which we usually recommend occur about a year before the wedding to replicate the same seasonal state of your skin. If you are pleased with your trial photographs, you can book our services at any time, but we recommend booking at least six months in advance due to the large volume of business we conduct.
On your wedding day, VIP Chicago Brides will arrive on site at your home, hotel, or location and create your look on the spot, saving you a time consuming trip to the salon. When you are busy making final preparations that morning, the luxury of having your salon come to you will help to greatly reduce your stress. We can also serve the entire bridal party for special group rates. Small traveling expenses are covered, but a travel fee will be arranged if your location is more than twenty miles from the artist’s origin. We make a whole file for each of our clients with detailed notes and pictures. Every artist is booked for only one wedding each day, and bound by a contract, ensuring quality, reliable service. Your personal artist for the day will arrive right at your own residence to deliver Chicago’s best beauty services- making you a “VIP” bride indeed!
After the ceremony, our artists are available to stay on location for touch ups at an hourly rate, fixing running mascara and restoring your look for pictures. If you don’t wish to use this service, we provide you with a personal touch-up kit to ensure you can maintain your look throughout the day. Do you stay for touch-ups if needed?
Yes, we do provide this service and it is offered as an hourly rate. Many of our brides have us stay until their dances are over, because all of the emotional stuff is pretty much complete at this point. So, this means we are there during all of your pictures/portraits and fix you accordingly just like we would at a photo shoot, to ensure you look perfect! And just in case there is any crying we make it look like it never happened so you don't have mascara running down your face.
BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST
***Important***Be sure to book artists/companies that provide you with a contract. First of all, the artist is way more professional and without a contract there is no guarantee that the artist that you booked will show up on the day of the wedding. We have heard so many terrible stories from some of our clients calling us last minute in panic.
Make sure the artist makes some kind of record to capture your look/colors so that you get the same thing on your wedding day. A lot of artists take time out to make sure the trial is spectacular so the client books. However, on the day of the wedding they do not provide the same quality of service, because they are rushing thru it. To make sure the artist does not rush thru you and your bridal party or that they do not arrive late, ask them if they have another wedding booked on the same day as you.
Also, remember that you always get what you pay for! There are different levels of artists based upon their talent, training, and experience. You are not going to find a higher grade of artists, it's our guarantee. VIP Chicago Bridal Team has been trained in Chicago among the best of the best! We also provide you with a contract, we make a whole file for each of our clients with detailed notes and pictures, and lastly, each of our artists only do one wedding a day so we can stay with you as long as you need us to!
