We had a great time working with Ken. He did both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We had over 1000 pictures to choose from for our album, which we were very pleased with. He is open to suggestions on poses and will offer up his own expertise. We would highly recommend this photography to another couple.

Ken, the main photographer, works out of his home. His wife can be the 2nd photographer if you would like. He is very personable, very willing to work with you. He has a few different packages to choose from. Got the online proofs of our pictures back about a week after the wedding, got the actual prints back about 3 weeks after the wedding. The pictures were wonderful. He is very good about letting other people take pictures, does more of a photojournalistic approach, does not pose you too much, unless you want that. You get a DVD of all the pictures and a 4x6 of all the pictures taken. Very ncie to work with.

I had a wonderful experience with Ken from Vita Bella. Our pictures are fantastic. You can just tell he loves what he does. He was so enthusiastic about our wedding and even came out to our wedding location before hand to scope out unique places for us to take pictures. (Our wedding was in my parent’s backyard) He was very professional and accommodating. When we asked him if he would stay longer so we could get some pictures with the fireworks, he did without question. Vita Bella provided excellent customer service and has prices for every budget.

Additional Advice

In your quest for your wedding photographer, be sure to meet with the photographer that will be photographing your wedding. Many times the photography "houses" with more than one photographer may end up switching your photographer at the last minute. This happens because the photographers they have working for them end up quiting and suddenly you may be stuck with a very inexperienced photographer. Be careful! Be sure to have it in writing as to what compensation you will receive if this happens to you. What is the photographer's personality like? What is their background? How long have they been taking wedding photos? How many weddings have they shot? Do they have a referral list you can call their past brides from? Take a look at the photographer's portfolio, in particular, look at the details in the bride's dress and the groom's tux. Is her dress a blob of white? Is there any detail in the dress at all? Is the tux the groom is wearing a solid black coat and slacks with no detail in the lapels? How are the skin tones? Does everyone look washed out or milky looking? Ask to see some of the actual digital files used to create the photos. Really dive in and look to see if the image is really sharp.
