Volles Bridal Boutique provided wonderful customer service. The staff made my mother and I feel very comfortable. The bridal consultant really listened to what kind of dress I was looking for. Every dress I tried on was just beautiful! The best part was I found my dress that day and Volles was the first Bridal Boutique I had went to. I would definitely recommend this boutique to future brides. They make every women feel like one of a kind :)

Volles is by far the best possible place to get your wedding dress! I know at least 5 brides who have found the perfect dress at volles. They are pleasant and make you feel important and have more variety than it seems. Their staff is dedicated to helping you find a winner, and my dress was positively perfect for my wedding. Great place. Highly recommended.

Volles Bridal is a cute little bridal boutique. I had tried on my dress at a different bridal store and loved except for this one piece on it. This piece was pretty big too, so I had decided not to buy it at other places. When trying on dresses at Volles I found another one I liked but decided to try on the one that I loved(minus one part) to see which was better. When I explained to the person helping me that I loved the dress but this one part, they immediately brought up the seamstress that they have on sight and she cut it off. I was stunned seeing as how I had not purchased the dress yet... They were so willing to help me make my dress perfect it was amazing. We then began to explore pieces to replace it and found one! So of course I purchased it. I was very pleased with the price of the gown. At other stores it was the same price but did not include any altering. Here at Volle's that price included altering, which many people will tell you can get very pricey. The people there were always willing to help. I did have trouble getting in contact with the alterations department once or twice but it was never a big issue. I went in for three or four different fittings. (they all started to blur together) I do however remember always leaving very satisfied and never worried that something was going to happen to the dress. The last fitting I gave them a piece to sew on the dress to make it perfect and they did it with out a question. They were very helpful and trust me when it comes down to the wire you want that! They even steamed my veil, which I did not get from them (I borrowed someone's) for free! Super Great! They also gave my father great instructions of how to care for the dress on the way home and what to do when he got home (how to hang it up and lay it out) Overall great people to work with.

I purchased both my wedding dress and all the bridesmaid dresses here. From day 1 they were great in helping me find my wedding dress and veil. I loved the service and thought I got great treatment. I do feel th alteration and "extra" fees are a bit much. I barely got anything done in alterations except the bustle. I guess that's just the price you pay now. The bridesmaid discount was nice but they still kill you in alteration fees. One of my bridesmaids went in to get her bra added to the dress and came out with $75 of "must have" alterations. A bit much if you ask me. The free steaming was a hit, finally something free! I had one bridesmaid who was measured wrong and had to have her dress re-ordered. Definitely their mistake as it was inches off. Too drastic for a weight loss. I would still recommend them and use them again. Great service and professionalism. Just have them double check their measurements.

The service at Volle's was amazing. They made sure to be there and worked around my schedule. They did a great job with alterations and the bustle. They really listened to what style I wanted and pulled exactly what I had asked for. Soooo happy with my dress!! Also, we ordered our bridesmaids dresses through them because we got a great discount!

My first appoints at Volle's, I had a great consultant, who listened to what I wanted and did not want in my wedding dress and brought out styles for me to try. We narrowed it down to what flattered my body and I found my perfect dress, for less than $700 I might add. I also purchased a belt and a veil at the same time. It seemed service went down hill from there. For my fitting appointments, I had to wait for 30 minutes before I could go upstairs and put on the dress for 5 minutes with the seamstress. What is the point of having an appointment if you keep someone waiting for 30 minutes. When the day came to pick up my dress, they were not going to let me try it on, because they did not have a room available. I said 2 days before my wedding I am trying this on! They said hold on let me see what I can do. Another 20 minutes of waiting, and finally they let me try on my dress. And good thing I did because the seamstress had made a huge error when she fixed the bust area. She had to take it in, so when I put it on, the rouching was completely messed up and misaligned across the bust area. They fixed it right then, but not after making me feel like I was being a hassle for wanting to try on my dress and make sure everything was OK.

My dress was beautiful and the alterations made it look like it was made for me alone. The dress was ready on time and looked flawless. The service on the other hand could stand some improvement. The staff is not as pleasant as you would find at other wedding shops. To tell you the truth...I received a better attitude from the attendants at Davids Bridal and all I purchased from them was a garter.

I would normally not go out of my way to write a review of a vendor that I thought was bad, but the service I received at Volle's was particularly horrible so I felt compelled to warn other brides.I found my dress at Volle's after two or three appointments (after the first one, I had to request a new consultant because the first was so awful- brought me dresses that were the opposite of what I asked for and was eccentric to the point she scared my bridesmaids). I decided to buy my dress there anyway because it was the only store that carried that style in a 30 mile radius of my house. I was told it would arrive at the end of May, beginning of June. The first week in June I had not heard a peep from them since January. I inquired about where my dress was and they said there was a delay with the designer. That would have been fine, except I had to keep calling them to find out an update; never was I called to be told where my dress was less than two months before my wedding.I scheduled my first fitting and everyone I encountered over the phone and in the store was crabby and rude. At my viewing, the woman scheduling my first fitting snapped at my mom when she asked a simple question about scheduling the next appointment. On my third fitting appointment, I walked in and a bride was sobbing in the lobby because they wouldn't let her try on her dress when she picked it up-great backdrop for the happiest day of your life!In addition, I paid $350 for "basic" alterations. No length was taken off the bottom of my dress, nothing was taken in on the sides. It pretty much fit like a glove when I tried it on the first time. And yet I was charged an additional $25 to have cups added and an additional $40 for a bustle that I was told I "had" to have by the alterations woman, but was not told about the additional cost until after it was done. What I thought would be my final fitting appointment was awful- the way they did the bustle showed all the buttons and hoops through the tulle at the bottom of the dress and was so obvious as I walked in it. My mom was shocked that they were telling us it was the only way it could be bustled; only with further persistance did they concede to fixing it. That's what I got for over $400 in alterations that were minor. In the end, I loved my dress, but if you are looking for "the experience" with your dress shopping, DO NOT go here. You will be met with rude, crabby women who do not share in your joy of your wedding day. Because I wanted my dress experience to be positive, I tried really hard to like Volle's, but the poor service and bad attitudes were just too much to overcome. You would think after paying several thousand dollars for a dress that you would get friendly people and service in return, but that was not the case at Volle's.

We are sorry you feel you did not receive our legendary service. We strive to meet the unique needs of every bride who walks through our doors. We accommodated your every request including introducing you to a second consultant who was a better fit for your personality. Your basic alteration fee of $315 included four fittings, altering the bodice, adding boning to the sides and bust line, hem work, and two hours of hand pressing. We bustled the gown and completely changed the bustle per your request during one of your fittings. Bra cups are an extra charge just as buying a bra would be. As far as the bride who was crying, there were extraneous circumstances we are not at liberty to discuss. In the end we are delighted that you were thrilled with your gown and hope you had a beautiful day.

I had been to several stores before walking in to Volles, and I could tell that i would find my dress there right away. We made a private reservation on a Sunday (absolutely recommended - they get super busy on the other days) so we had the place to ourselves and really felt like we were the only ones they cared about. Flo was really great at helping to figure out what it was that I wanted and what would look good on my body. We even had the owner helping us! What was great was that they were not trying to upsell me into the more expensive dresses; they all agreed the cheaper dress looked more like "me" than the others. They were also very willing to work within my budget and had an amazing selection of dresses. As I was an out of town bride (Maryland) it was difficult to arrange fittings as they typically only hold one Saturday a month for fittings. This was probably the only real challenge I had with them as they were not very flexible in my situation, but it all worked out just fine. As i said earlier, make sure you go on Sundays because otherwise they get really behind with how busy they are. The seamstress Theresa was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly, caring and genuine and really helped make the dress look perfect (it was about 3 sizes to big when it came in).I would absolutely recommend Volles; they were such a pleasure to work with.

I found Volle's when they were having a trunk show for Maggie Sottero whose style I really liked. I got a great deal since my dress was a discontinued model and I bought the sample. Because of that I was able to get a gorgeous dress and alterations all for within the budget I originally set out for myself. The alterations team did a great job--it fit me like a glove--never needed a resize. They weren't able to get all of the pock marks out of the dress, but it was a risk of using a sample. However, that didn't detract from the overall beauty of the dress and won't show up in pictures. I love my dress and only wish I had more opportunities to wear it again.

wonderful store-with a ton of variety, staff is very helpful. Only issue is expect to wait it seems like they are always running behind.

Volle's is located in the town I grew up in so it was the first, and only place I ended up shopping for my wedding gown. The consultant I had was helpful and listened to my ideas and presented a variety of options. Totally cliche, but I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. I ended up getting my bridesmaids dresses here too and my mom bought her dress as well. My biggest criticism of Volle's is with their alterations policies. I paid a flat fee for my alterations and all they really did to the dress was hem it; the bustle cost extra. I also found them to be very pushy with alterations. Not all of my bridesmaids chose to have their dresses altered there (mostly because of the high costs) and every one who chose not to received attitude from the sales people. All in all however I had a positive experience. Everything came in on time, in the right sizes and colors and at the end of the day that's the most important part.

I had a very good experience at Volles. I got my wedding dress from Flo. She was very kind and considerate of budget and my taste. The alterations department was amazing. My dress fit me like a glove. I fainted during my first fitting because I had not eaten (eat before) and they were extremely kind and helpful. I used them for my bridesmaid's dresses. The dresses came in on time and they were willing to make straps for the dresses. They turned out great! I would definitely recommend using Volles Bridal! Thanks Flo! It was so nice working with you throughout the entire process!:)

I purchased my gown from the one and only shop I visted, Volle's! I went to Volle's after a friend had a successful experience and opted to go for a Jim Hjelm trunk show. At first, I was a bit disapponted that some of the styles I liked were out of my budget range, but my stylist kept trying to find gowns that met my preferences. We finally hit it it when I found a gorgeous Jim Hjelm design that mixed modern and vintage and would be the perfect look for my outdoor garden setting. They helped me adapt the sash into a color I wanted and were so kind during the process. The dress arrived earlier than expected and I was able to excitedly begin my fittings. I always got an appointment when I wanted them and felt like I was valued each time I returned. Alterations was amazing and calming and made the dress fit like a glove. Day-of, I felt perfect in the dress and received so many compliments from those who attended and even those who just saw pictures afterward. It was a pleasant and positive experience all around!

I purchased my wedding dress from Volle's. Overall, I was pretty happy with the service. I went there because they carry many Maggie Sottero dresses and there was one in particular I was looking for. I called ahead and knew they carried it. I only tried on 3 dresses and ended up purchasing the dress I had called about. My only negatives would be that they frequently ran behind on their appointments/fittings and would not mention that when I arrived. I think during my first fitting I waited 15 minutes passed my appointment and at my final fitting I wait 20 minutes passed my schedule appointment. Again, it would have been nice to have been informed that they were running behind. I would recommend them to brides because they did have a wide selection of dresses and their prices were pretty reasonable.

I purchased my wedding dress from Volle's in May 2010 at a trunk show. I live in Wisconsin and came to Volle's because they were the closest retailer to offer a wide selection of Jim Hjelm designer dresses. My first experience was great. Flo, my consultant, was insightful and patient. She listened to my preferences suggested dresses I loved. The dress I ended up selecting was there as part of a trunk show; however, they assured me that they would be able to hold the dress until the following weekend when I was to come back with my mom, mother in law, and sister.Unfortunately, this was not the case. We found out when we arrived that the dress was no longer in the store. I am certain they told me this to close the sale. Instead, we looked at bridesmaid dresses and MOB/G dresses. The selections for the mothers were very dated. A different consultant was helping us, and she was very pushy. My sister tried on 20+ bridesmaid dresses. However, the consultant was very scattered. She kept telling us certain colors and sizes were available when they really were not. She promised to follow up with me the following week and never did. I called and left a message for her, but she never returned my call so I took my business elsewhere.I was told my dress would arrive in six months (beginning of December 2010). In actuality it did not arrive until the end of January 2011. I did not hear from Volle's at all during this time. When I called at the beginning of January to inquire as to the status of my order, I was told they did not have any idea when it would arrive and they were not able to check. When my dress did finally come in, I was not contacted right away. The alterations manager contacted me the following week to schedule my first fitting, and at that point I was told it had been in for awhile.Living two hours from Lake Zurich and working full time, my fittings could only be done on the weekends. Here Volle's was accommodating and worked me in on the Saturdays their seamstress worked. She was very nice and pleasant with which to work.

I just wanted to thank you for making my wedding dress shopping quick, easy, and fun! Your staff;s knowledge and professionalism, as well as their enthusiasm, contributed significantly to the positive experience I had at Volle's. It was great to feel that you were genuinely interested in my happiness as I plan for the big day. I look forward to working with you again for the rest of my wedding selection.

Volles Bridal was a dream come true. They helped me to find my perfect dress and didn’t push me into purchasing a dress, the first time I was in the store I walked out without a dress, I wanted to sleep on the decision and make sure it was what I wanted to do. The alterations department was amazing! They were able to fit my very heavy strapless dress so well that it didn’t move an inch during the reception, even with the cathedral length train bustled and my jumping around. They were very responsive to my concerns, moving the bustle buttons in 2 days because I didn’t like the way they were placed. My mom also got her dress there and it was perfect. They also did alteration for two of my bridesmaids even though they did not get their dresses there.

My experience with Volle's was good.Positives: my consultant was able to see my vision for my desired wedding dress and found a dress perfect for me within my desired budget. My experience with the various staff members (alterations, ordering, etc) was good and everyone was fairly pleasant and helpful. My dress was received in time and the alterations looked wonderful.Negatives: the only minor negative is I had to wait for a few appointments (no more than 10-15 minutes late). Most were on time.

I really hesitated in writing this review, because I would like to believe that one bad experience shouldn’t define a store. But after 6 months, it still hurts to think of the day I went shopping for my dress at Volle’s. They treated me well when the store was empty, but it was a completely different story when there were other customers around. I went to Volle’s immediately after getting engaged, by myself, get an idea of what I liked: I never intended to find the dress. When I went that time, the shop was almost empty, and the sales person (Katie) was incredibly helpful. I tried on a dress, and knew it was the one, but I was sad, because I had always meant to find it with my Mom. I didn’t want her to be disappointed, so I asked the Katie if, when we came back, she could pretend that I was a new customer, so I could “find” the dress again. She said that was no problem. When I came back, she had already pulled the dress, and told my Mom that it was the one I had tried on before. My mom’s face fell, I could see how hurt she was. On top of that, Katie also pulled some jewelry she had asked me to try on during the first visit, and told my mom that these were the pieces we had “decided” on earlier. My mom now thinks that I was trying on dresses, and shopping, for months before I was engaged. That I basically lied to her, and that I don’t want her involved in my wedding. She still brings it up, and refuses to help with any aspect of my wedding. If that were the only issue, I might have been able to let it go. But Katie obviously thought the sale was closed, and treated me as such. She wouldn’t get me a bra, saying that it wouldn’t work with the dresses I was going to try on, they were too low-cut. This was not what she had said on the first visit, I personally think she didn’t want to spend the time. Then, when I went out to the big mirror to look at the dress, she ditched us to talk to another bride who was already being helped, and ignored us until we were ready to go back into the dressing room. After I had changed back into my clothes, she said she would meet us downstairs. But then, when we were waiting for her, she walked right past us to talk to another girl looking for a prom dress.I ended up buying that exact same dress, at another store, for more money. I still have to buy my bridesmaid dresses, and arrange for tuxes for the guys. But I will not be going to Volle, and refuse to spend a dime in that store.

I found a gorgeous dress here and bought it. I had a few hiccups though. When I ordered it, they forgot a piece (I don't know if it was them or the manufacturer) but they were able to correct it. However, they never called confirming that the piece was in but only left a message saying that I needed to pay off the balance which made me a little confused and angry. But again, they apologized promptly and it all worked out in the end. I realize that they can make mistakes but are quick to make it right. Everyone is very friendly. The alterations experience was awesome. And I also bought my veil here and was able to get a great price on it. Just so people know, they do have odd hours of business so make sure you know when they're open before you go. And the only thing is at the end, there was a piece of the dress that looked a bit off at the train...but I think it got ripped off during the dancing, haha!

My dress turned out beautifully and the seamstress was amazing! There were a few communication issues, but the end result was fine!!

I love how they made me feel like the only bride in the world..and they are going to customize my dress how i want it :)

Shopping for bridesmaids dresses there was a good experience, but many of my girls had little issues and problems with them when it came to ordering and alterations. Including the women looking at the wrong book when ordering the dress for my plus sized and pregnant bridesmaid and embarrassing her by telling her it couldn’t be ordered large enough for her and they would have to order fabric and custom make it for an obscene amount of money. (Of course when I selected the dress I made sure it came large enough). Thankfully they figured out their mistake and got it ordered.

HORRIBLE!!!!! The service was horrible...first of all the person who sits behind the glass is RUDE and very, very UNPROFESSIONAL. I waited almost 3 hours for an appointment and no one there could tell me what was going on. Then I was so embarressed when my bridemaids came to try on the dresses. The person on the phone wrote down the wrong numbers of the dress so of course the dress was quoted twice as much...go figure. Deanne the manager didn't ever appoligize she was also rude and very unprofessional as well. At that point I wanted to say FU!! I can't believe how they treat people and are still in business. My dress was over four grand and another couple grand for the bridesmaid dresses....and we were treated like crap!! I will never go to Volles again!! and I will definitely spread the word what a horrible bridal shop it is!!!!

Volle's was the first bridal/special occasion salon that I went to in search for my wedding dress. When I arrived, I was greeted and calmed by my appointed attendant, Katie. She was awesome! Sweet, friendly, calming, and she listened to what I wanted and what I DIDN'T want. The dresses she brought back for me were all beautiful, and all pretty close to the pictures from magazines that I had brought in. Katie hit the nail on the head. It was amazing that I found my perfect dress on the 3rd try. I booked my appointment on a Friday which was great because I felt like the only person there. They suggest going during the week because it's very busy on Saturday and Sunday. My mom and a couple family members came along and had plenty of room out in the "showcase" area to sit and be comfortable. Katie also offered us a nice discount. It was a great experience. Now the only reason that I didn't give a "5" for everything is because I had made a special order for little pink flowers to be made (by the owner, who is very nice) and they were not ready by my last fitting (which I was told was due to the business of prom season)... Volle's had a couple months to do this and it was not done in a timely manner, so I just said forget it altogether. The other issue was that the flat alteration fee which is over $300, did NOT include the bustle--this I think is ridiculous since the bustle turned out to be another $175 (how??). I just found this annoying and greedy. Overall, though, I would absolutely return to Volle's. I had a great experience and I felt like a princess on my wedding day. Very happy!!!

Didn't have the best experience mainly with a front desk staffer. Lady was very rude and unprofessional when an issue arose. Couldn't believe how unprofessional the lady was.

I live in Phoenix, but bought my dress at Volle's, while visiting my family in Illinois. They had a huge selection of dresses and veils, both of which I purchased here, after trying on way too many. I loved the atmosphere of their boutique and the helpfulness of the staff.
When the dress came in and it was time for my fitting, I came back to Illinois and they were extremely flexible with getting my alterations and bustle finished in one day, since I was in from another state. I appreciated their flexibility so much and could not be happier with the gown I brought home!

We got the dress of her from Volles Bridal Boutique, and overall the service they had was definitely good. The dress turned out very beautiful, and in all we were both pleased.

Volle’s Bridal and Boutique is an amazing place. The people that work there, specially Deanna treat you like you are the only bride in the world. The make sure you get all the appointments and time that you need to find that special dress that you are looking for your wedding. They make you feel that every single detail that you have in your mind for that special day is as important to you as it is for them. They are very professional and charismatic people. Thank you Deanna for help me find my dream dress and for being like a friend to me =o).

I LOVED working with Volle's! My saleswoman on my initial visitwas outstanding. She hit the nail on the head with everything. I came into the store with a very clear picture of what I wanted, adn left purchasing something completely different and I couldn't be happier about it. My dress was perfect. I also used you for my alterations adn never had any problems (I lost 45 pounds after ordering my dress so you really had your work cut out). Thank you Volle's for making my special day so memorable.

I recently purchased my wedding dress at you store and rented our tuxes next door for our recent wedding. I'd just wanted to thank everyone for their attention to detail, friendliness, and expertise. My dress was absolutely beautiful and my husband looked so handsome in his tux. We had such a great experience working with you guys. My mother and mother-in-law also got their dresses at your store. Their dresses were beautiful as well. You guys did such a great job and we can't thank you enough!

I am from Texas and had been looking for a certain style gown by a specific designer but no one near me carried it. I was in the Chicago area for work and found Volle's from the designers website. I called to see if they had the style, and even though the didn't they jumped through hoops to get the dress in from the designer while I was still in the area. The designer wasn't able to ship it in time as it was out on a trunk show, but I appreciated their help so much I just stopped by to try on some dresses...and I ended up finding a dress! The dress was very similar to the dress style I was searching for and I still couldn't shake the idea of the dress in my mind so to let me know for sure, they were willing to ship the other dress to me to trial before making a final decision. I have been to a several boutiques to try on dresses and this was by far the best place I have been. I love it when people just try to help people and the staff at Volle's bridal (Katy and Flo) and the owner Deanna went above and beyond for me.

This was not my first store, and overall I was happy with my experience with Volle's. My dress was beautiful and in perfect shape when I received it. I loved my dress! I will explain my ratings below: Quality of Service: When I was shopping for my dress, Trish was wonderful and really listened to what I was looking for. She was patient and never once pushy. We really appreciated how she respected our budget and worked with us. Theresa with alterations was also wonderful. She patiently listened to what I wanted and needed to be done. She really made sure I was comfortable and happy with the end result. Responsiveness: I never had any issues, my questions were always answered and I was easily accommodated when making appointments, whether to continue to look at dresses or for alterations. Professionalism: As mentioned in quality of service, the people I worked with the most were wonderful. What really got me was I felt like there were hidden costs. No one said that bustles weren't included in the flat rate for alterations. Every time I came for a fitting, I swear there was another girl shocked by the same thing. Or one time it was a girl shocked by how much they increased her alterations for her bridesmaid dress. If it had just happened, to me, I would've brushed it off and assumed I missed something. But seeing multiple people be confused when they came in to pay about their final prices, seemed too strong of a trend. That being said, my alterations cost like $300 and everywhere in the city I was quoted $500. For my first viewing, the front desk acted like I didn't have an appointment. It was odd. The people showing me my dress knew I was coming, but this woman didn't have me on the books apparently, and then I had to wait over 30 minutes to see and try on my dress. Value of Cost: After looking around, I knew I had gotten a fair price on my dress and felt that the flat rate of alterations was a good price. Knocked down a little because they tried to charge me for my very small bustle when they never mentioned that it wasn't included in the flat rate alterations. Ultimately it was resolved quickly. Flexibility: The store isn't flexible at all if you live in the city. Alterations really should be done on the weekends. Getting all the way to Lake Zurich when you live in Chicago is HARD. Because of the brands carried, and that I grew up in the suburbs and the lower taxes are why we went to the suburbs to look, but only Tuesday and Thursday evening hours for alterations was very difficult.

Thank you so much for allowing me to look at gowns even though I didn't have an appointment.I am gracious for your courtesy. I found the dress of my dreams at your store. Thanks for making one of the best days of my life wonderful!

They have some great staff people!!! Allison was a sweet heart from day 1, an honest keeper in that place. The seamstress, Theresa is a doll also. IF it was not for Allison and Theresa i would not have many very nice comments to say about this store. My experience started out wonderfully, with complete satisfaction. The salesperson, found a dress for me that was incredible and she worked diligently to find.. "the dress." and she did. I am sorry to say, i did forget her name, but i am grateful for her help! After that, service went somewhat just down hill. and NOT because of Allison or Theresa, but management and the front desk staff. The front desk staff can seem cold and snotty, and not very welcoming at all. The store has a great selection of dresses for moms, brides, bridesmaids, but the hours are restricted. Appointments for tailoring were complicated to squeeze into a working schedule and the alterations are not allowed to begin before 6 weeks....so needless to say, my dress was done, 2 days prior to my wedding day. which made me unhappy since i had worked hard all summer to ensure my last week before the wedding was worry free. these alterations made me very nervous and for a major part of such a big day, and a large expense too. I had to go back for alterations multiple times, which i knew would happen, but i was shot down when i asked back in june to start the altering process early to avoid a last minute issue such as the one i had. Go there, see the dresses, jewlery and veils and find a good tailor elsewhere if this place is far from your home.

I just wanted to write a note of thanks for the help we received for my daughter's bridal dress shopping experience. She found the dress of her dreams and she is so very, very, happy. What more could a mother ask for? Our experience was very positive and we will definitely give other brides-to-be and wedding parties your name. We had received your name from another happy bride. Thank you for making a special mother/daughter shopping experience special for the two of us.

My wedding was a phenomenal affair and you had a tremendous role in this wedding. First, your wonderful selection of dresses allowed a final wedding choice on a first visit! How many people can say that ? The dresses were all stunning, with the bridal dress as the true centerpiece. Next, tailoring efforts were first rate and your attitude in making the adjustments was warm and caring. Finally, you became a trusted adviser on the entire event as myself and the women of the family were all dreaming , planning and thinking about the wedding throughout the visits.Thank you for both the magnificent effort and for caring so much.

I want to thank the wonderful staff at Volle's for finding and perfecting my gorgeous wedding gown when I visited the store last July with my mother and maid of honor. I simply knew I would find the right gown there. You were so welcoming and truly listening to my ideas. I really appreciated the special attention you gave which is probably just standard practice for you, however, a cut above most. I have been telling every girlfriend I have to visit Volle's when it is her turn. Thank you for a pleasant experience and a memorable wedding day!

Volle's is a nice bridal boutique and I know many people have been very satisfied. I liked my experience and my dress was beautiful. The only issue I had was that the dress was not ready 2 days before the wedding. I had to wait the morning before the wedding for 45 minutes while they finished alterations. Also, the bustle came out in the reception which was dissapointing. All in all, they are a nice store and I would recommend visiting them when dress shopping.

I had a very positive experience with Volle's. It was quite far being in Lake Zurich and having to drive in from Chicago, but overall I think it was worth it (cheaper tax!). I was a bit scared after hearing horror stories on the Internet about the experiences of other brides, (dresses coming in late, looking worn etc. etc.,) but thankfully none of that happened to me. My dress fit me perfectly. They also offered to steam for free the veil I borrowed from my friend which was a big help. One less thing to worry about is a blessing for a bride. The staff was all very friendly and personable, from the staff that answered the phones, to the salespeople and especially the seamstress. The only issue we had was trying to bustle the dress - I don't know if it was us and being a bit inexperienced??? - but we all thought it could have been marked a little more clearly. I hear some dresses are color coded? Anyway I had 3 or 4 girls under my dress trying to figure why the numbering wasn't working quite right and we all double and triple checked the pairing of the numbers, but I guess I hear that happens to a lot of brides. In all, I would highly recommend Volle's.

I got my wedding dress from Volle's Bridal and I loved it!! It was so unique and exactly what I was looking for. Everyone there was great to work with and really know their stuff!! The bustle for my dress they created looked stunning!!

LOVED working with Volle's! My saleswoman on my initial visit (I believe her name was Alice) was outstanding. She hit the nail on the head with everything. I came into the shop with a very clear picture of what I wanted, and left purchasing something completely different and I couldn't be happier about it. My dress was perfect. I also used them for my alterations and never had any problems (I lost 45 pounds after ordering my dress so they really had their work cut out for them!). The only reason I didn't mark a full five stars on professionalism was one small thing - I went in for my second fitting at the scheduled time, was sent upstairs and still waited almost 20 minutes. I saw the receptionist call to let them know I arrived but they said no one called. A small thing, but something that stuck out to me....

I bought my wedding dress at Volley's. Buyers beware!! First they were very pushy, but after we decided it was the dress I wanted, it took our lady forever to enter the order. She acted like she never did it before which made me scared. Two months after the order, I received a strange phone call asking me which dress I ordered. Months later when I received the dress, it was the wrong color! When I went for the fitting of the dress, my lady would not give me the time or day because she was trying to sell another one. I had my mother come ack with me to explain the problem, since over the phone they kept saying the problem was with the veil and not the dress. They would not return the dress, but did say they would get the dress I tried on from the truck show. I received that call while I was on my honeymoon and never had a chance to go back. Not that it would matter! I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about buying a dress there not too. You can always find the same dress somewhere else. I had to purchase another dress and wounded up at David's Bridal just a few weeks before my wedding. The lady that helped me actually had worked for Volley's previously and has heard the same story several times. She said to hire an attorney.

This bride did not like the color she ordered when the gown arrived!Brides must sign off on color, size and delivery before they leave the boutique when initially special ordering thier gowns! This bride did all of that and followed contract proticol perfectly. We showed her the EXACT sample gown she approved BEFORE she ordered and we brought EXACT sample gown for her to see, after HER gown arrived from manufacturer! SHE refused to come back to the salon to verify sample gown color to her dress. Again, we did everything we were supposed to do, and tried our best!

I absolutely loved my dress! This was the only bridal boutique in the chicago-land area that carried it so I was forced to buy it here. The people are nice to work with, especially Katie. Also, the seemtress is amazing! She is so sweet and really knows what she is doing (I forget her name, but I know she's from the Caribbean). Except, for one minor thing. MAKE SURE that when you are scheduled for your second fitting and dress pick-up you call before hand. Don't assume that because you scheduled it they will really have it ready. I made that mistake and when I arrived, they informed me that someone forgot to put my name down when I called in. So I drove an hour to get to this place to find out that I had to come back the next day since my dress wasn't ready. Other than that, this place is good if you know exactly what dress you want!

Volles was great. I had shopped at lots of places and didn't fall in love with a dress until Volles. My now mother-in-law brought me to Volles when I was visiting my husband's family. I described what I was looking for and the sales woman went and pulled several dresses. I didn't think I'd like first one she had me try on but as soon as I had it on, I knew it was the perfect dress. I bought it that day. When I got back from shopping, my husband thought I was crazy for buying the dress so quickly. It was nearly a year and a half before the wedding but I never thought twice about it and when he finally saw it, he loved it too. I live in and was getting married in DC but they were pretty good about working in my fittings when I was in Chicago instead of the typical fitting schedule.

The employees at Volle's were wonderful. I went to many different stores to find a dress and the service at Volle's was a step above others. Everyone was very helpful and patient throughout the whole process. The alterations on my dress turned out wonderfully and many people said my dress looked like it was made just for me. The only difficulty was that the alterations department wasn't open every day and not Saturdays which made booking alterations a little tricky. I also purchased my bridesmaids dresses there and once again it went great. We were there for many hours trying to make decisions and I never once felt rushed, compared to other stores. We also had some major alterations done on the dresses and Theresa did a great job with the changes. I felt very confident with Volle's and never worried about my dress coming in on time, or things being correct. Being able to feel that way was very important during all the stresses that planning a wedding can bring.

I went into Volle's with the expectation of just perusing...trying to figure out what's out there. I described the type of wedding I was having and within 10 minutes, my assigned consultant had picked out 7 dresses for me. The second one I tried on I ended up buying...we all agreed it was the dress that looked best on me. They also had excellent recommendations as far as accessorizing. I did not buy accessorizes there because they were pricey but I still appreciated the recommendation. When my dress came in, I was only notified by mail...a little disappointing but nonetheless, it was a great experience.

My dress was beautiful- I felt like a bride from the moment that I walked into Volle's. They were very accomdating with my alterations.

I found the dress of my dreams at Volle's, unfortunately. I had originally called when I first started planning to ask questions about what designers they carried. The lady on the phone was extremely rude to me and provided no answers to my questions. I decided to visit the boutique to look around and waste some time, not intending to buy my dress from there. I ended up falling in love with one that I knew was "The One". I also chose my bridesmaids dresses from there. Volle's has only week day hours for fittings, so brides who work or live out of state (like I do) must take time off to make the fittings. Once you have selected a dress and are ready for the fittings, you are on an in-and-out basis. They are not so cordial and want you to take up as little time as possible. Two of my bridesmaids lived out of state and were measured by tailors in their areas. The women at Volle's did not want to process the orders because the girls were not fitted by their employees. It was a struggle to get them to agree to the sizes. They also waited over a month after receiveing all deposits for bridesmaids to place the order, which gave them a deliver date later than my wedding. They did not have their paperwork caught up to show that all sizes and payments were in to place the order, even though I called to verify everything was set. Once the bridesmaids' dresses were in, we discovered one was three sizes too small, and a size the girl did NOT order. Volle's did nothing to repair the dress or help in anyway. They said it was not their problem. They did, however, order fabric from the manufacturer for us, but then never shipped it. Luckily the bridesmaid was able to get fabric from the company and have a seamstress fix the dress so that it was wearable the day of the wedding. I would have rather gotten a David's Bridal dress than go through the hassel of dealing with Volle's.

The facts are........her bridesmaids where measured incorrectly by an outside source. Volles ordered the sizes these bridesmaids told us to. We have signed contracts by the bridesmaids with the sizes they contracted us to order! The dresses came in TOO small for them. We offered to order material, FREE for them. We did this and shipped it FREE for them! We did everything we could to make the best of the situation!

Great to work with. Did a wonderful job on my dress. They carry wedding dresses that are on the more expensive side.

They ordered a dress for me that I had found at another store. I wanted to order from them because of their great reputation and I just did not like the woman at the other stores I had gone to. Volles was able to get me a competitive price on the dress. They did not carry my bridesmaid dresses though so I had to go elsewhere for those but it worked out ok. Alterations woman was amazing, got it fit to me like a glove in ONE TRY!

They have very flexible hours which was a plus. They also had a lot of dresses to choose from by a wide variety of designers. They were much more helpful and attentive then the sales people and many chain stores. My dress was amazing and perfect.

I ended up buying the first dress I tried on. My attendant was really great and actually listened to what I wanted. I got it for a STEAL because it was discontinued. My experience with them after I bought the dress could have been better. A couple of times I left thinking that it was a negative experience, people weren't that responsive and communication was dropped here and there.

Volle's Bridal was the first and best bridal salon that I visited when shopping for my wedding dress. They were so helpful -- I didn't have to rake through racks and racks of dresses that were out of my budget, style and size limits because they brought them right to me after asking a few questions. The well-lit dressing rooms are large and comfortable, and the attendant helps you in and out of the dresses like a pro! Volle's was very flexible with me and my budget, and I found my dream dress there, which they even had altered from a strapless dress to a halter-style dress to fit my personal style. They do alterations in-house, and they do such a good job that your wedding dress will fit you like a glove when they are finished! The service is wonderful -- professional, friendly, personal -- it's all there. I highly recommend Volle's -- you don't even need to go anywhere else :)

I got my dress from Volle's and it was beautiful. When I went to choose my dress they were very nice and professional. They spent a lot of time with me and I loved the private rooms where they bring you dresses. In addition, I went back three times to make sure I liked the dress and the staff was very nice about it.However, when I went to pick up my dress to take it home the day before the wedding, they were so overbooked (and I believe one of the staff members was sick) that I had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time. After that, they literally gave me my dress and said good-bye. I had to ask them to take the time to show me how to do the train and how to store it.Overall it was a great experience except for that last day when I went to get the dress. They even have an occasional sale where they offer 20% off. That is a great deal!

Volle's made my gown buying experience truly amazing. I told them what I wanted and three dresses later, they found it...but it was better than I ever could have imagined!!! The prices are great for couture gowns and they custom made my dress to fit what I wanted.I also used Volle's for my bridesmaids, and while the dress we picked was gorgeous, they did not treat my bridesmaids in the same manner they treated me. When my girls had problems, I would have to call to fix them, but as soon as I did, the situations were rectified.

I went into the boutique with some pictures of what I thought would look good on me, sorted in order of which I liked best. The consultant sat down with me and we chatted for about 15 minutes about what the wedding was going to be like, what words I would use to decribe myself and my sense of style, etc. She never wanted to look at the pictures I brought, and I thought - "OH, thinks she knows everything, huh?". Guess which dress she brought out first????????Unbelievable! I put it on and actually teared up (hokey, but it happened)! It was not a cheap dress, but you know, I felt like an absolute princess that day (if you knew me, that is NOT something I would normally say either...)
GUEST

I guess I would recommend them. I felt rushed to get a dress. I had been there so many times and just couldn't decide on one. I never fell in love with one particular dress. At the end, I did feel pressure to just pick one. I didn't have family or friends going with me to help me and I wish they would have done more with a dress better suited for my body style. At the end of the day, they were nice. They honored other requests such as ordering the fabric of my wedding dress so I could get one made for my flowergirl.
