Wai-Ching

Chrissy made both of our wedding dresses - we flew out to Seattle in March to meet with her and get measured and pin down the specifics. We got the dresses in July. They needed minor alterations, which is to be expected with a custom piece. The dresses were absolutely gorgeous - completely handmade and one of a kind. They were super light and perfect for our hot weather wedding. I would have liked a little more communication in the way of updates between March and July, but I tend to prefer updates in general. I would highly recommend Chrissy's work - it's beautiful and such an incredible value - a work of art really.

I came across Wai Ching years ago and have purchased several skirts from her. At that time I also fell in love with the Antoinette dress and knew that if I ever got married that would be the dress I had to wear. Years later I got engaged and luckily the dress was still available. She had added even more designs and I almost changed my mind because all of her dresses are gorgeous, but I stuck with my gut and had her create an all white version of the Antoinette dress.

It really helps that she has photos of real client's dresses because everything is customizable and it helps you get a better idea of what can be done. She's really fast at responding to e-mails (you need an assistant if you don't have one!). When I received the dress it fit perfectly and didn't need any altering. She was also able to make a matching tie a few weeks before the wedding which was great. I wish I was rich because I want everything on her website!

Working with Chrissy was a blast. I did some research online and found other examples of brides wearing her work. My fiance and I came up with a look and forwarded our idea and my dimensions to Chrissy. I followed up with a trip to Seattle for a fitting about four months before my wedding - she was professional and efficient, quickly pinning things and making suggestions for a few minor alterations.

I received the dress and wowed everyone at my wedding. It was one of a kind, gorgeous and such a great deal. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

I just got my dress yesterday. I love it! It does take awhile to get the dress.. I ordered it in January. BUT it is so worth it. The process is long to dye, cut and sew a dress all by yourself. So, give Chrissy some time and space and let her do her thing.

The finished product? More beuatiful and unique than I could have imagined. She made my dress, veil, and a bolero. The dress was perfect and fits like silk glove. The veil was gorgeous and the bolero unique. It's simply beautiful.

Chrissy is incredible. She is perhaps one of the sweetest and most talented people ever. She worked with me to create my dress, bolero, and veil. And they were all stunning. My dress was the Panderetta. It was incredibly beautiful and just what I wanted. I got so many compliments on my dress.

She is really busy (for good reason), so call her early. I called in Jan. and had my dress in Sept. and it was gorgeous. I felt incredible in my dress. Like an absolute goddess.

I too received compliments from everyone at my wedding. The dress was so perfect for me. It was a pleasure to wear, so comfortable and light. No problems with broken bustles or tearing seams. The dye on the silk was absolutely splendid. We ordered a matching tie for my groom and it looked awesome! My only advice would be to order earlier than later.

Chrissy was a dream to work with and created the perfect custom dress for me. I was able to work with her on every detail to get something completely unique. I can't say enough good things about her!

Chrissy's creations are breathtakingly unique! If had ANY excuse to wear my dress again, I would in a heart beat. My dress recieved soooo many compliments, and still does! She was able to completely customize my entire dress to my personality, body and style. She also did all 8 bridesmaids' dresses as well as our officiant's outfit!!

My dress was definitely unusual. I couldn't see myself in a white gown, so I figured I'd just have fun with it. It was custom made by Chrissy Wai Ching in Seattle. All I did was send her my measurements and fortunately, it fit like a glove.
