Reviews for Wal-Mart
I went to walmart and found these quaint little favor boxes that had individual stickers for each box. The boxes were plain white and had this amazing little closure to the top of the box. The box lid closed somewhat in the shape of a flower. I bought 300 boxes for thirty bucks and thats more than plenty for each guest to have more than one. I have planned to fill the boxes with the powder heart candies with the different sayings on them like "I love you" and or "Be mine". They also carry them at walmart.
There are so many thing you can buy at Wallmart, ant it's so cheap. Definitely worth trying.
Wal-Mart has so much to offer. They are willing to talk to you one on one and make sure your cake is fixed to fit you and your future spouse wants and needs!
The larger the wedding, the more intricate the details, but if you are planning a smallish ceremony at home go to Walmart and check out their invitations. With your home computer, you can design and print your own invitations for much less than you would pay to have them done. If you have a little bit of time, I highly suggest this. They look just as nice, and every penny helps!!!
pretty good selection of wedding stuff. I also found beautiful silk peonies in my exact color...I couldn't find these anywhere else! Very happy. I also got our guest book and pen and card box from here. great quality...especially Martha Stewarts stuff!
My mother works in the bakery department and she got me a great discount. Their doing a 100 cupcake tower about four tears included. Also a separate (grooms cake) for us to cut and save for our first anniversary and they really went out of their way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.
Walmart has great prices on thank you notes, and bridal shower invitations. I recently purchased gorgeous silver and white Thank-You notes to match our invitations. Walmart has a variety of wedding items including toasting glasses, unity candles, and do-it-yourself invitations at half the cost of a lot of more pricey designer stores/retailers. Great place when you are on a tight budget, but want elegant wedding materials!
We bought out wedding invites on sale at Walmart in Ogdensburg. They seemed to have a lot on sale. The invites were fairly plain however we did go to the Papery on Bank St. to get some envelopes in colour.
I bought basic cream invitations at walmart and they include a template in order to design them yourself along with a web address that gives ideas on way to spruce it up. They were a great price and this way I could personalize them any way that I wanted to. I paid approximately $20 for a set of 50 with envelopes.
great unexpected place to buy invitations but with a wide array of options and matching accessories for those on a tight budget.
I found favor boxes in the clearance area for .10 a piece. You never know when you can find a deal. Check out all your places in your area.
Walmart does it again! We had two flower girls that bought white with red velvet dresses from Walmart's Christmas seasonal clothline. Adorable dreses with great prices. Also bought head piece and socks/shoes for them. Great deal, great cute look!
Wal-Mart offer a lot of options for creating your own wedding cake; books and all the apparatus required. It takes a lot of practice though so is not for someone who doesn't like to bake, or eat the results ;)
I got some really nice invitations from walmart and they have a big selection as well. Beautiful meaniful invitations.
They were do it yourself but they turned out amazing... great format and easy to do again saved alot of $$$$$$ compared to what others charge...
if u are on a short budget but want things to look good and everything i think u should look at wal-mart especially if you aren't color specific!
We ended opting out of getting anything at walmart. The walmarts around here dont exactly host the friendliest crewpeople. We were going to get my fiance's wedding band here. Because they have a decent selection for cheap prices.
We were looking at the titanium bands first because they have the silver look without affect my fiance's allergies to silver. But the lady behind the counter was so dead set against getting us to buy an extremely expensive band, that she made us feel inferior because we didnt want to buy such a band. She was really rude, and we ended up just walking out without buying anything. We made a formal complaint to the HR, but they simply said she was "doing her job".
Wal-Mart we purchased flowergirl basket, ring bearer pillow, garter, guest book and pen, diamond table decor, isle runner, invitations, thank you cards, gift cards for vendors and helping hands, one of the groomsmen bought his suite from here, and he still looked just as good as the other guys!
Even though this is a do-it-yourself vendor, we received such personal attention from the staff member that helped us put together what we needed that we almost felt like we had our own wedding planner.
We saved a lot of money too...so that we could spend iton the ring and the honeymoon:)
I changed my mind on cakes 2wks before the wedding, and Walmart said that was enough notice time for them, they did my cake, 3 layers and it was beautiful, everyone asked where did i get that beautiful cake from
Great selection of affordable invitations that you can print off yourself. I got the Martha Stewart invitations and they were perfect and cute. They had a great selection of weddingy invitations that were not too pricey like other stores.
We didn't know where to go to get our wedding bands. So we just wanted something nice and a little cheaper
So Im a pastry chef and I put myself to the challange! I figured I would make MY wedding cake with only the ingredients walmart offers! I thought it would be funny! Needless to say my guests said it was the best cake ever! What started as a joke ended up being super tasty.
Wonderfull, had a great Selection of items to choose from from kids clothing to shoes undergarments and hair peices.
We are getting everything or our favors from Walmart! They have a great selection of just about anything you can think of! Their bridal area is actually surprisingly large and the prices are unbeatable!
Wal-mart has some very nice children's clothes. As you probably already know it is very inexpensive but good quality. I don;t think you need to spend a lot on t he children's clothes because they don't wear fancy things often and out grow them quickly.
We sent out around 200 invitations. Since we were on a relatively small budget we decided to do the invitations ourselves. We picked up the boxes of invitations at our local Walmart and simply read the instructions and it was as simple as that. Nothing fancy or complicated, but exactly what we needed.
If you're planning a wedding on a budget, I highly recommend WalMart. You can get waht you need, one-stop shopping at the best possible price.
Walmart has a great selection on do it yourself invitations and fovaors. IT also has tons of things you will need for your special day like flower baskets, sign in books, unity candles, bubbles etc. ALWAYS AT A LOW PRICE
I never know what I will find at a Wal-Mart, but this was where I found my guestbook for the wedding. I was grocery shopping at the supercenter and wandered over to look at what they had in the wedding section. They have a huge wedding section, with hundreds of decorations and favors to choose from. They also have the cake cutting knife, and they also had beautiful wedding guest books. The wedding guest book I chose was a Martha Stewart book that had room for pictures and notes, along with signature and other mementos. I loved it, and I thought the price was also perfect!
my sister came she's a pastry artist and cheff so we bougt the food and teh cake stuff at walmart it was pretty cheap for a 35 people simple party.
I have to say that walmart is the cheapest place to go and get your earrings and neckless they have a large selection and also I have to say that I was able to get my fiances ring at walmart and his ring before it was on sale the ring was 349.50 I wond up only have to pay 50 dollors for his ring and it fits him wonderful.
There are a lot of quality wedding stuff that you can get from Walmart. We got our favor boxes, wedding decor...... ect...
I love Walmart and was able to find several things in their wedding section. I bought bubbles (in clear tubes 100ct, ribbon, craft items, and many other last minute items. It helped make my day inexpensive.
Favors were just simple bubbles... but they were cute... they had inter twined little hearts on them... very cute.
I know it sounds ghetto but Walmart did our cake and it was really pretty. We just took in a swatch of fabric of our wedding color and they matched it. The only thing is they only make vanilla cake (but they have different filling)! It was cheap and no one would have ever known, so I would use them again!
Wal-mart had everything we needed to create our own invitations and centerpieces. Very reasonably priced as well.
I purchased our invitations at Walmart. They are very enexpensive. 50 in a box for $20.00 and you can print them yourself. Just go to the website provided on the box and there you go. They turned out beautiful. My fiance and I love them.
For favors, my mother suggested that we go to Wal-mart and buy small chocolates (like a mini hersery bar) and leave them on the tables. People liked having chocolate, they were able to snack while they waited for the meal. Our original plan was to have the chocolates covered with a paper that had our names on it, but we forgot about this and decided at the last minute to put the chocolate out even though it didn’t have the fancy wedding wrappers on them. I think the one problem with putting small chocolates out is that no one knew what to do with the wrapper. It would have been better to have small appetizers circling rather than have chocolate wrappers everywhere.
My mother was supposed to get the guestbook. We had originally seen a style of guestbook at Broadway Papers which I was absolutely in love with, but my mother said she could find something cheaper elsewhere. Or that she wanted to make me my guestbook, I can’t remember. She forgot, and it was a week before the wedding when I realized we still didn’t have a guestbook. My sister-in-law went to Wal-Mart and bought the guestbook there, which was a lot nicer than I would have expected. It was big, fake white satin but still pretty, and it looked like a wedding guestbook. She was even able to get the fancy feather pen, all for under $50. Wal-Mart has good wedding supplies, which is good to know.
We got the cutest matching pair of titanium wedding bands for very inexpensive. They had a very nice selection of fine jewelry, at reasonable prices, allowing me to afford any accessories I'd been unable to get anywhere else.
great way to get the wedding party or you guest gifts, that they will continue to use for a long time.
I bought 1 box of 50 invitations for $20 compared to the exact same at other stores for $50, and printed them at home.
I am a big do-it myselfer so I had the bright idea of doing the invitations all on my own and then was really lost on where to start. It's actually not hard at all! I made all my own 'Save The Date' cards and wedding invitations. Wal-Mart, and even Jo-Ann Fabrics, Michael's and I am sure some other places as well offer wedding invitation kits, but I chose wal-mart. I found the design that I wanted and then made sure I had the right amount with a few extra. In the kit is provided the larger card for the invitation, the card for RSVP, the envelop, I made a card for invitation to the reception, directions, found in the wedding/craft area some silver stickers to seal the envelops shut and even where I could make address labels to put on for return labels and the guest address labels which made it look really nice compared to my hand writing. I printed them off of my computer and they looked like the professional ones my sisters chose to hundreds for and I saved a ton that I could choose to use the money towards something else for the wedding. It was a great budget saving idea and it was awesome once I saw the end result of the invitations to know that I actually made these! I kept one and put it in my wedding keep sake box because in 10 years I know when I open that box I am going to look at the invitations and think, man I actually made these myself!! and I bought them from Wal-mart, who knew?! I definitely suggest it to any budget crunching or crafty bride!!
3 stars for taste, 4 stars for being there! There was a big mix-up with the cake. Brock’s mother said that her sister was going to make the cake, and then when I met his aunt, she went into all these great details over what the cake would have. One week before the wedding day, when everyone is rushing around trying to glue ribbons on chairs and getting the seating arrangement finalized, I get a call from Brock’s mother. She says the aunt is very hurt that no one offered to pay for the ingredients and doesn’t feel up to making the cake. Gah! I don’t want to get into who is right/wrong, but this call could have come sooner! We didn’t have much left in funds, and we remembered reading somewhere that the bride had gotten her cake from Wal-Mart. We drove over to Wal-Mart, and sure enough, for $120 you can get a three-layer wedding cake, stand included and everything, with buttercream roses and other decorations. The only catch was that the cake flavor could only be vanilla and chocolate, and they don’t do vegan or sugar free. We only needed to order the cake two days ahead of schedule, and then we had to have someone pick it up. Brock’s friend took care of that the day of the wedding. The cake looked beautiful, and it tasted like normal wedding cake, and it cost less than something from a fancy bakery. His aunt, in the end, apologized for making a scene, and all was well.
We have lots of friends that have some great cameras, and who are semi-professionals in photogrpahy. We asked them if they could take some nice pictures of our guests at the wedding, and of us. I had a few great photos snapped of me in my dress, which I loved! The other idea I had seen before at other weddings, was when each table has a camera, and the guests just click pictures. We found these really cute and cheap "wedding cameras" at Wal-Mart, which were sold in a box of eight. We then saved some developing coupons and brought the cameras to Walgreens. Walgreens is always having great sales for film development. We had the pictures put on cds (you can always find coupons for free cds, too). We had thirty cameras in total, and most of them were more than half used up. We were not charge for the pictures that weren't taken, which is good.
The invitations for wedding were beautiful. They didnt look cheap and looked like i got them professionally done.
This isn’t a review as much as it is a suggestion: to keep track of all the vendors I was meeting, I got a business card book and would place their business card in the book. I purchased the book for $8.00 at Walmart. It was great because I would mark a little note on the back of the card of why I did or didn’t like the vendor, or notes of what I looked at in their store. My best friend also helped to categories the cards, like a section for flowers and then for cakes. It was really easy to keep track of all the vendors, and now I have all the information in case anyone needs it! It comes in handy, too, when I needed a limousine or some flowers.
I was really, really proud of our favor idea! My fiancé used to be a DJ when he was in college, and he loves music! He’s a big fan of buying and burning cds, and we’ve been making mixed cds for each other for the longest time. For a party favor, we decided that it would be nice to make cds of our special songs for the guests, and wrap them in a custom made sleeve. We bought 200 blank cds from Wal-Mart for less than $40, and then we bought this nice brown paper to make the sleeves. We also bought glue and markers to write on the paper, as well as paint. It took us two weekends to come up with the compilation, then FOREVER to burn 200 cds. It was not an easy task! It also took a long time to fold all the brown paper into sleeves for the cds, with the special drawing (we scanned and then printed the picture on the paper, once I realize how much time it would take to draw on each one). It was a hit! People loved their gift, especially when they realized it was music. It was useful, and we get compliments all the time on how good the cds was.
We had bought wedding favor boxes at another store, but needed to fill them up with something. My mom suggested that we go to Wal-mart and just buy candy. We bought lots of Kisses, maybe about 25 bags, to fill the boxes with. It was much cheaper to get them at Wal-mart than other stores.
I must say that I definitely did not expect to get any wedding stuff from Wal-Mart, but when I was walking in the store the other day, I noticed their wedding section. It was fabulous! All the stuff I needed for a very cheap price! They have ringbearer pillows, flower girl baskets, favors, invitation kits, unity candles, aisle runners, you name it! Why spend $10-$30 more on something when it's just as good at Wal-Mart?
I went to Walmart and purchased $200 worth of high end, adult candy and offered my guest a candy buffet instead of junky ol' wedding favors. The candy was a varity of Lint and Ghirardelli chocolates, along with Almond Rochas, Ferro Roches, Jelly Belly jelly beans, and mints. I admit I tossed in a few of my favorites like Almond M & M's, Strawberry Twizzlers, and Werther's caramels just mix it up from all the chocolates. All 100 guests were provided with a little baggie and twist tie so they could take something sweet home with them at the end of the night. I know the candy buffet was a hit because there wasn't any candy left by the time I left the wedding.
Wal-Mart has a section that sells wedding supplies and DIY wedding save-the-date cards, but they also have a craft section with lots of stationary making kits. The DIY non-wedding cards are cheaper than the DIY wedding cards, even though they are the exact same thing. I bought a postcard making kit, and then came up with a cute design for the save-the-date cards. I think my total cost for supplies, which included the 5 packs of 20 blank postcards, ink, stamps, and paints, was about $80. Once I had my design picked, it took me less than 4 hours to have them all printed up and addressed.
I bought all my wedding gifts and favors at Wal-Mart. I knew that they had a really good wedding section, and for party favors I made little bags filled with chocolate kisses and candy covered almonds. I made 150, which took me several days and cost me maybe 70 cents apiece. It was a fun project! They were cute, and people liked them. I think it’s more of a gesture than anything, and our follow up plan was to send a thank you card with a picture of us on our wedding day.
We bought our supplies for our guest gift bags from Wal-Mart, which included water bottles, trail mix, chocolate bars, a map of Oklahoma City and a few flyers. You can get the flyers from anywhere, it’s a nice touch because it lets people know what’s going on in the city. I bought the gift bags from Wal-mart for $1 each, and then spent less than $40 on the goods we put in the bags. Wal-Mart is cheap for snack foods. We bought huge boxes of cracker jacks for $1 a box. The trail mix was $3 a bag, which is still cheaper than the grocery store. I think this was a nice touch for our out-of-town guests because then they had nice snack food, too.
At Wal-Mart we were able to buy big boxes of chocolate kisses and those sugar covered almonds (I can’t remember what the proper name for the almonds is anymore). We used wedding favor supplies from the wedding section in Wal-mart, and made over 200 little gift bundles. It was really simple to make, and not that expensive. I think the guests liked being able to walk out with a little token in their hands. From previous experience at weddings, I know that I’m also hungry at the end of a wedding and like having a piece of chocolate. I made these with my mother and best friend, and I think it was the perfect price and the perfect wedding favor idea.
My mother hosted the big wedding shower at her home. We have started using Wal-Mart as our one-stop for family events, because you can buy platters of sandwiches, meats, cheese and fruits ready to go. They also do cakes, and my mom ordered three cakes that were really well decorated and really cute. I don’t think anyone could tell that it was ordered from Wal-mart and not a speciality baker. It actually tasted as good if not better than the cake we ordered through our catered, and cost less than a third of the price (3 cakes for $120 with taxes). The food was good, we had lots of fruit trays and lots of nice crackers and cheeses, too. My mother also picked up all the decorations there. She was very proud to tell me that my bridal shower for 50 people cost less than $400.
They have a lot of wedding things to choose from. From candles to lighted arches they have almost everthing you need to do it yourself.
Walmart's wedding aisle has some great finds and great deals. Definitely try to DIY a lot of stuff and it will save you more than you can imagine. Best thing I ever did plus it added the personal touch to all aspects of my wedding.
we got alot of favors and the food for the reception at walmart i love that place it was great for my wedding and for my regular life!
Walmart has some really nice wedding cakes for a very good price. They are just as pretty as they would be anywhere else.
I used walmart for the bridal shower invite they came out pretty good and the paper was great to my cheap surprise. no customer service though it do it yourself
Cheap way to get candy for stuffing bags for favors! Hugs and kisses work awesome in the little satin bags
I have no idea how much i actually got from walmart but i love there stuff and it is such a good price. I loved being able to get stuff from here.
I had a very simple yet elegant favor at my wedding. Hershey kisses!!!!!! I got the boxes from walmart and hershey kisses and ordered stickers with our names and wedding date on them and stuck them to the bottom of the hershey kisses!!!
Walmart was a great place to find affordable and beautiful wedding invitations. They have kits that include everything, even the favor boxes. It's all you need.
I spent $20 on a do-it-yourself card kit at Walmart. It worked wonderful. I spent a few dollars more on ink for my printer but I was able to spend minimal money and make a very unique and personalized invitation for my guests.
The reception was in my man's mama's backyard. We just had a pic nic. Wal-Mart had the best potato salad and macaroni salad at their deli. Ours is a super wal-mart. We got all the acohol there too.
We went to walmart to have our photos taken and we also have family members who are photographer so they shot at the wedding!!
I know it sounds cheesy, but Walmart really did have the best prices and quality on a lot of the small items. I got the ring bearer pillow here, and the supplies for our cookie wedding favors. The selection was impressive and they carried some of the name brands I saw in the pricier stores. Worth the money and the convenience.
We wanted to send out save the dates and not spend a ton of money, so we used the photo center at walmart! They actually turned out really cute and were a bargain! We received them about 2 weeks after our order(fast service) and then we mounted them on solid-colored cardstock and no one ever knew they were from wal-mart. We uploaded a picture on them and wrote a message with our date, with invitations to follow. They turned out perfect...better than some other expensive ones I've seen!
They did an amazing job! They were a pleasure to work with and provided high quality appetizers for the wedding.
Wait staff was very professional and on top of everything the entire night.
A bit spendy but highly recommended.
we got alot of little things to help decorate and for our centerpeices here! Great selection and not pricey at all!
you wouldn't really expect walmart to have wedding stuff, but we bought menu cards, and invitation cards, and we printed them off and overall price was pretty low
For my wedding favors I bought white tulle and cut it into squares and tied it up around tealights. Then put a ribbon around them with our thank you tags. So you get your thank yous and your favors in one.
We bought and printed our own. They looked great and we saved money. The simple elegant silver heart design was easy to incorporate into our colors.
The main focus for my wedding was affordability and Walmart provided that. Although I wanted to keep my purchases under wraps no one noticed because the invitations I choose were exquisite. They were in my price range so I cleared the shelf. Walmart is a good place to go if you’re on a tight budget and still want things to look semi expensive.
i purchased my wedding invitations at walmart and was very satisfied with the price and the quality of what they had to offer. several other vendors had the same thing for more money. i was extremely satisfied!
I purchased some things for the wedding because I created all my owe favors. Which means I had to buy ribbon and things of this nature
I was shocked when I found out how much wedding cakes were! Seeing that I needed to feed lots of people, I momentarily considered just baking the cakes myself. In the end, my mother told me that Wal-Mart made a delicious cake for a party at her work. Wal-Mart makes those general sweet cakes, so I went ahead and ordered that. I think I lucked out because the baker who took care of making the butter rosettes must be really talented, because she made the top layer look like a full bouquet! There were dozens of small roses, and I was so touched by what a good job they did! They provided the stand, too, in the cost. And if anyone asks who made your cake, you can say, “Oh, someone local.”
we found a package of invitations we made ourselves, after we printed them it looked plai but we bought ribbons and got really creative with them
They are very nice rings but it took them 2 times before they got the sizing right.
I went to the Walmart bakery at Store #1062 on El Dorado Blvd. in Friendswood, TX. I couldn’t believe what a beautiful cake we got from Walmart, of all places. The price was amazing, and the tall layer cake they provided had exactly the colors I wanted. The cake looked awesome in the photographs, and of course it was delicious, too. I would whole-heartedly recommend this Wal-mart bakery for anyone wanting a gorgeous wedding cake.
Found everything I need to make my favors in the art and craft department. Even kitchen dept to find the champagne glasses. Very low cost by making it yourself.
I bought my favors there, and ribbon, and many other things for the wedding. They were so good to have a large selection of items and ideas.
Again, I went to walmart, I watched the clearance section I knew what I wanted and I had plenty of time. I got the invitation kit by wilsons, so easy to do, they talk you right thru it. You pick color wording font everything. All it takes is a coulple hours on the computer. I saved over 300.00 doing it myself. They give you practice sheet and everything. I put them together in October and am not getting married til August this year. If you have the time and patience you can make you wedding amazing at low cost like I have done.
We tried to register at Walmart. However, all of the local and surrounding Walmart's registry services were not working. We drove to countless Walmarts to only be told that they may even just take it out completely! I suggest Target (although they too have some registry problems) or Bed Bath and Beyond!
I have to say I am not a huge fan of Wal-mart. Well, I was there one day browsing the wedding aisle when I noticed the Clearance wedding section. I was able to get our invitations for $40 (obviously before printing). They were the perfect color and style. At first I didn't want to print my own invitations before but after finding the right style and the thought of saving $400 I am all in. :)
Wedding isle in craft section has a few favors. Those that they do have are pretty decent. Also a great price.
I loved these Wilton print-yourself invites! They were beautiful but just right for my budget! It was so easy to print our invitations from the comfort of home. I could make them say anything i wanted and the kit came with everything I needed to wow my guests with elegence and style.
One of my best friends made our wedding favors but she got all her supplies from walmart and was able to find everything she needed at a very reasonable price.
sounds like the cheap way to go but they were custom to how we wanted them. and turned out great. the kits had easy directions to follow and came with everything we needed
I found absolutely beautiful fabric in the $1 per yard bin at WAlmart that was the exact color of my wedding. I bought all they had and now have wonderful decoration fabric for the tables. They also have so many other decoration ideas that are within anyone's price range!
We decided, since we were on a low budget, to make our own invitations and they turned out great. We purchased the kits from walmart and they give you step by step instructions on how to prepare them. The had wording choice or you could make your own. I would definately do it again.
You won't even believe how awesome and perfect the invitations that I got from Wal-Mart are! As long as you have common sense of a computer and a creative mind, you can turn the most inexpensive thing into a personal masterpiece. If you don't have ridiculous amounts of money to spend on invitations, go cheap and then let your imagination run wild!
We bought our cake-topper at Wal-Mart. It was a nice simple topper to go on the cake along with the flowers from our florist.
My fiance and I found my diamond band and his ring for one hundred and sixty-five dollars. We never thought we would find suck a great deal. Now we can spend some more on the honneymoon.
Paid 50 bucks for the stereo. DId the job we wanted it to!! PLayed the music for me to walk down the aisle and everyone heard it.
when you are planning your wedding on a budget walmart is a good place to shop. You can look at what they have in the store and compare the prices to different place. It has saved me alot of time and money getting things from here.
Our cake was very simple. Walmart bakery did a great job in decorating to our specifications. The frosting was especially delicious and the cake moist.
I bought the decorations at Wal-Mart and saved so much money as opposed to ordering from a fancy company. Nobody knew the difference.
From Walmart I got our cake mix, and frosting, I also bought our wedding topper for about $10.00. It was worth it, and then you find someone to make it.
I got the printable bookmarks from Walmart for the favors to give out at the wedding you couldn't tell they were from Walmart and I was very pleased with the way they turned out!
I bought my invitations at Walmart, they are print your own, but they did have about 10 different types to choose from, and they were a lot cheaper compared to most other places.
awsome selection reasonable prices convienent very fancy invitations among tons of other stuff youre going there anyways
Walmart had a great selection of invitations to choose from at a very low cost. They were all so beautiful i really could not choose which one to get.
they are a great place to get anything from apples to wedding cake but, yeah they are more then likely going to be where i get my wedding cake from because of the price on it .
We were too young to drink, so we went shopping. I don't remember buying anything, but I know we all had fun and didn't get kicked out.
we all got our shoes there and they called other walmarts and had shoes put on hold till we could pick them up as they were out of season white and silver shoes at reasonable cost hard to find
Sadly, we were running on a budget, so we got our favors from Wal-Mart. We didn't have a definite theme going on, so we bought little favor boxes from Wal-Mart that cost about 12 dollars for a set of 25, and then we bought a bag of kisses and filled the boxes with kisses to remind the guests of the ever-lasting love between the bride and the groom. If you're running on a tight budget, I would recommend Wal-Mart for your wedding needs.
I was able to get my invitations for $7 a box of 40. Wonderful! There were not very many to choose from though. I actually found my on the discount aisle.
MArtha Stewart collection. WHite boxes with clear tops. filled with jelly belly bean. there is a photo of each person in the box top for seating card aswell. Multi perpose.
For the cake, I figured, "why spend so much money on something that's just going to get eaten when there are more fun things to spend it on?" So, I got my cake done at walmart. I had a little personal cake done up for my husband and I and the wedding party and then a big flat sheet cake for the rest of the guests. And you know what? It was great cake for little money. The only downside is they don't deliver, but when you're getting basic little cakes, that's not that big a deal. I defintely recommend going this route with your cake because it was very tastey and very inexpensive.
When it came to getting wedding invitations, I looked at like Davids Bridal and such but it was expensive so we actually just went to the store and purchased some blank ones and made them ourselves and they turned out great
I bought all the make-up I will be wearing from Walmart. I also bought all my hair care products as well. They have a great variety of make-up. All the good brands....Revlon, Cover Girl, Maybeline
this is where my mother and i got the party favors at. we bought a thing of somekind of mesh fabric, some pastel colored almonds, and ome wedding bell shaped candies, some white and blue deco string. and 2 24 packs of wedding bubbles. we layed the fabric flat on the table. place 1 bubble thing in the middle and add a few almonds and some wedding shaped candies. then bring the fabric up to the tope of the bubbles and tie it off with the string. we also bought a small wooden basket and some baby blue fabric and pillow filling. we made our own Wedding favour basket and pillow.
For the DIY bride - check our wal-mart for their selection of DIY invitations. We saved a ton of money!!!!
Believe it or not, Wal-Mart is the one stop shop for weddings. I got so many things from there. From the bouqets to the undergarments from the wedding. It was very convenient!
Great Bridal registry options. Allowing you to put items on your list for those who cant make the wedding but want to send a gift and ship it right to you. Excellent
We bought over 100 invitations and save the date cards for $20.00. They were still very nice and I saved alot of money!!!
We got my ring at walmart and ordered my husbands off a website for men. I think it was called "rings for men". Either way, it was cheap, has fast shipping, and are nice rings.
Lots of little things like card boxes and bubbles that are inexpensive but nice. Well stocked and year round which is helpful for last minute things you may have forgotten about.
We bought all the flowers and did everything ourselves b/c we only had close famil friends so no need to impress and we made it look professional, it's amazing what you can do if you just do it yourself.
So, we kinda went the cheap way as many would call it, but when you live where we do, it's not the money that matters, unless you're flat out broke, it's the love and the heart. So when we got our wedding bands, we chose to go to our local wal-mart. The jeweler was helpful when discussing the fact that our rings had to be sent to be resized and she assured that if they weren't back in time{since we did get them kind of late}, that she would be sure to help us with rings for the ceremony.
I decided to do do-it-yourself wedding favors and bought the candies and the wedding satin satchets myself and had girlfriends come over to help! It was fun! It was easy and cheap!:)
Everything was very resonalbly priced! We didn't have much money and I had the best wedding anyone could ever ask for because of Walmart!
Walmart is an awesome place to get invitations. You get like 20 invites for $19.97. And it means more when the future bride and groom write them therselves.
I bought my flowers from wal-mart and I am letting my bridesmaids put together their own arrangements. We are all very creative and think that it will be alot of fun
Found great, adorable little wedding favors for an affordable price. We found containers, candies, labels, and decorations for a very low price.
We went to Wal-Mart for our invitations. They have many designs to chose from (although some Wal-Marts have different ones-so shop around). The invitions are really easy to do, just get a layout scheme from the website of the brand and then type your information in. Very simple.
I love how you can buy the Invitions and print them out on your own computer that way you know there is no mistakes and you can word your own sayings on your cards.
Surprisingly enough, Super Walmart has an AWESOME(and affordable) selection of wedding invites!! The quality was awesome for the low price.
I know Walmart sounds stupid but its not! My sister in-law and I are both creative and crafty people. She has a giant supply of stamps (ones that you scrap book with) and I had a pile of facny beige paper. We decided to do personal touches on a small "thank you" tolken for people to take home when they left the reception. We went to Walmart and bought out all their 2.5 inch candles that matched my wedding colors. We went home and took stips of paper and changed the "background" stamp. They were all different designs and different colors! Then we stamped "THANK" in the centre of it and added a cut out "U" at the end of it. Wrapped it around and wrote "with love from Jon and Nat" It was cute, personal, and at the end all the extras someone actually bought from us. They liked them that much!
Nobody would think, but Walmart has some cute wedding stuff! I happen to look at their craft section and they had alot of stuff to help me decorate.
This is were we got most of our food from. We made all of the food for our guest by ourself and wal mart is were we got all the stuff to make that food.
ok call me redneck but hell you can't get a better deal on party supplies for weddings or any kind of party than at walmart.
Our wedding was small. We had 100 people attend not including bridal party. It was easy to go to Walmart and pick out invitations and table decorations. Everything was reasonably priced and even if one store ran out the other stores near by carried the same product. I only wish there was more of a bridal selection to choose from. The invitations were beautiful and we added ribbon to give them a personal touch. The store also carried votive fillers and candles for guests to take home with them. My only complaint is that there wasn't more of a selection.
Walmart has some interseting wedding decorations! Some of them are old ladyish, but some are actually really cute. If you are looking to get some cute stuff for not much money walmart is the place to go! I found an awesome wedding guest sign in book. I love it. I went to some other high end stores and didnt like what i saw. But walmart has a good variety on selection.
This is where we got our bridal set. Then got it sized at fast fix jewlers. they have layaway just for that.
Loved my cake! They were super helpful when I wanted to change some things on my cake towards the last minute.
We bought the flowers mostly from wal-mart(we were on a tight budget). We picked some really pretty blue lillies and some pretty white calla lillies for my bouquet. they turned out very pretty! We also bought most of our decorations from there too they were' also good
I selected Wal-mart for my wedding cake and sheet cakes. In the end, I was very pleased with the wedding cake and sheet cakes. However, I felt at the outset this choice was bit risky because they did not have any way that I could taste the wedding cake (this is a different type cake than the normal ones in their bakery) nor did I have the opportunity to see any of their wedding cake work. Despite this, my husband and I decided to go with Wal-mart for our cake needs primarily for the price. I would definitely recommend it if you have a tight budget and do not mind seleting a cake design that they have. An added bonus was that Wal-mart provided an excellent box to use to transport the cake!
Well as almost evryone knows Walmart has almost everything you need and is conventient. My hubby and I through our wedding together in lik 6 days. It was very small but we had a priest who was willing to marry us for free and he paid for our license.
They have a wonderful selection of tings you can use for decorations or favors for your guest and it keeps you within budget
I got the really cute favor boxes from walmart, They are easy to put together and look really nice for not a big price
Our cake was beautiful- just the way we ordered it! Wal-Mart's prices were also better than the local bakery, so we will be sure to go to them for birthday cakes too!
We used the do-it-yourself kit from WalMart and not only saved a bunch of money, but they turned out quite nicely
Walmart was great for me. It was low cost and high quality. I love the products I purchased. Thanks to them my wedding was perfect.
To save some money for my wedding, I made my own butioneers. I am not a craft person and had bever tried it before, but purchased beautiful roses from the flowere department at wal-mart, some floral tape and wire and voila! Beautiful butioneers for way less that a florist would charge. It took about 35 minutes to make all of them and everyone thought they were from the florist. Try it .
They had a wide variet of invitations. I chose a kind by Martha Stewart. hey were easy to print and came with test sheets and ediquette guides that were helpful throughout the whole process. There was also a wide assortment of accessories that went along with the invitations so your whole wedding could be themed for a very low price.
The only downfall is that they only have a few of each item and they can't order large quantities. I went to 3 wal-marts to get all of my invitations and accessories. But it was WELL worth it because they were CHEAP but not cheap looking and i love that everything from the programs, give aways, table decorations, confettit etc match. it's great!
We were trying to find inexpensive invitations for our wedding. So we looked at walmart and found some that you put your picture in the center and they have a cream over lay. They were inexpensive and beautiful!!
I am sooo happy we chose walmart to do our cakes. we chose an unconventional design with grateful dead deady bears and i am sooo happy we did this. they did an amazing job helping us
My fiance and I are in college so we are trying to save money any way we can. I have been to Wal-Mart multiples time to look at their wedding aisle. They have so many items to choose from including aisle runners, favors, decorations, and much more! And of course all the items are much more affordable than specialty stores!
Like previous review: they had a pretty good selection of invitations to choose from, though, if interested in something more modern or elegant, Wal-mart is not your store.
With a small budget walmart helped when i needed a wedding band for my husband he's in the army and i wanted one that was durable and i found an amazing fashionable ring that was also scratch resistant!
need a wedding cake and they make them not sure what else to write got balloons and other rec ideas from there
To save money where I can, I have opted to shop at walmart for my wedding stationery needs. This will help a long way.
This is a great place to buy your wedding invitations. They are very elegant looking and are inexpensive. Plus you get to create your own message inside just like if you were to get invitations made by a company. We are on a tight budget so these invitations really helped!
My cake was a three layered cascading red, white and blue cake with roses on top. They did however mess up on the middle cake but they fixed it right there and nobody knew. The price was right and the setup was easy.
I was able to get the necklace I really wanted that looked perfect with my dress! I also found some great bracelets for my bridesmaids.
It was the best price for a wedding cake. I could not of went anywhere else to get this price for a really good cake.
