Walmart (St. Louis, MO)

Wal-mart has a decent aisle dedicated to wedding essentials. They also have do it yourself invitations. All you have to do is go to the website indicated on the box, customize and press print. My suggestion is to also take the time to buy some ribbon and flower crafts to further decorate your invitation.

Being able to make our own invitations was really nice. We were able to print our own design on the background to give them our personal touch.

If you are going to the beach for your honeymoon, hit some of the clothing stores at the end of summer and get insane savings on sexy swimwear! Sometimes you may not be so lucky because they won't have your size in the clearance section - so have a backup plan. But I had the best luck at Wal-Mart! (go figure, and I hardly ever shop here) I went here at the end of September (I live in AZ so that is toward the end of our summer) And I got 2 complete 2-piece swimsuits for under $30. And very cute!!!! I was pleasantly surprized!

I made my favors out of on sale Valentine's Day items from Wal-Mart. I purchased the items a few days after Valentine's Day so that it was 50-75% off. I had heart buckets that I filled with candy, silver heart baskets that I filled with candles, table cloths, stuffed animals for the kids, etc. It is amazing how much you can save by creating your own favors!

We didn't have much of a budget for invitations so we decided to buy a kit to make them ourselves. Wal-Mart has a beautiful selection for a great price.

I got so many little things I needed at Walmart for great prices; from the face wash I used the morning of the wedding, to ribbon.

The invitations were from Wal-Mart, so all we had to do was print them out on our computer. The kit came with thank you cards, so we didn't have to buy any extras.

The bakery was awesome. i had to pick the cake out from a book in South Carolina. The problem was that i was getting married in Missouri. They were so helpful in making sure that we had the exact cake that we wanted.
