Wal-Mart (Roanoke, VA)

I found 150 favor cups to use as holders for home-made truffles that my grandma and I will make. There was not much of a selection, but I found the favor holders on sale so it really helped budget-wise.

I have never used a grocery store for such and important event. Walmart was excellent. The cake was delicious. Our guest loved it. There was none left after the event was over. The decorations on my cake was light pink, with yellow flowers. The light pink was the color of my wedding gown. I would never doubt their services. I will use them again in the future.

It helps to get lil things there you need. Like saftey pins, lil sweing kits band aids and hair spary and bony pins.

Wal-Mart is AWESOME for bargain deals. I purchased alot of decor from the store, including 75 floating candles, which after extensive research, was even cheaper purchasing from there than online. What's even better is that you can often find wedding related items in the discount section! My advice is to not rule out Wal-Mart because it's not some fancy-smancy wedding store, but to think out of the box and save a little dough for the honeymoon and life after. They have some pretty nifty stuff if you take time to look!

There are many places that you can find those bargainistic wedding favours, but walmart offers the best selection anywhere, especially in the US. The boxes we used had a lovely design on them, and a heart-shaped handle. I had the stickers ordered through weddingthings.ca with our names and stuck them on. I then ordered small jam samplers through Smuckers, and put a jar in each bag, followed by a small wrapped chocolate and filled the tops with tissue paper to match the stickers - to give the look of a gift bag. Each favour only ended up costing me $4.00 per person, but if you don't have that kind of budget, you can buy the large packs of boxes, and buy mints all at walmart and it will only cost you an average of $1.25 per person.

I went to Walmart to find my invitations. They have the print yourself kind and they turned out to be very beautiful and not to costly.
