We searched and did research at several places for our bridal ring set. Wal-mart came well below the competition. The set we got was a discontinued item so it was reduced in price. Several jewelery stores had the exact same set for much more. Ashley who helped us with our selection was a delight to work with. However I cannot say the same for the manager of the department. She was rude and unaccommodating to us. We were never notified when the rings came back from resizing. We found out by stopping in the store. The only other draw back is that Wal-mart does not provide any warranty on their jewelery.

We had placed small disposable cameras on each table for the guests to take pictures. They sold a huge box of the white wedding disposable cameras at Wal-Mart, and buying them in a box of 12 was much cheaper than any other options. I liked the pictures because there was some fun candid shots of our friends, and it was fun to see what other people were doing during our wedding. I also like the Hudson ave. Wal-mart better than the other Wal-Mart Supercenter in town.

We got our wedding invitations from WalMart and printed them ourselves... they turned out great!

I bought my flower girls' basket here, as well as bubbles, rose petals and a few other minor details. Walmart is so cheap, you really can't beat them - sometimes you just have to get creative!

I hated my wedding cake. My mother-in-law is rather cheap, and talked my husband and I into getting a Wal-Mart cake for our wedding. The cake cost $200, and we still needed to buy the topper that we wanted for it. My complaint was that the cake did not taste that good. It was like eating a Betty Crocker Cake, or some other box cake. It looked okay, the colors weren’t exactly what we wanted, and the icing ended up being smeared because of the box it was transported in was cheap.

My best friend bought my cake-topper from Wal-mart. It was tacky but it got lots of laughs. It was a plastic bride that was dragging an unwilling groom. I think most of our friends saw the humor. I think she paid less than $10 for it, and it honestly looked very cheap. But it’s now sitting in our freezer.

The cake turned out great and was very reasonably priced. Didn't look like a cake from WalMart at all - great quality!!!

We originally wanted to do custom-made Jones soda bottles for our guests, but that was outrageously expensive. Instead we settled for making out own bottles of water and mini chocolate bars. We bought the water bottles and mini-chocolate bars from Wal-mart, which is cheap and easy, and then printed and glued each label ourselves. We used photoshop and some other software to create the labels, and it was really easy. Having extra water bottles was good, too, because then people didn’t have to ask the bartender for water.
