The team at Walter Knoll Florist on LaSalle Street was outstanding. They were able to take my vision for what I wanted for my wedding flowers and make it even better than I had imagined! The quality of their work was also superb. My bridal bouquet still looked great the morning after the wedding despite being out in the heat the day of the wedding. I would certainly recommend them to friends/family!

I only bought 26 flowers so I was able to buy them wholesale which I was excited about. My MOH picked up my flowers and some of them were already turning a little brown which I felt is extremely unacceptable. Also, the hydrangeas weren't as full as they could have been, and yes we watered them from the top like we were supposed to. They looked good through the ceremony, but we couldn't bring them into the casio to take pictures because they were already dying.

I called Walter Knoll less than a week before the wedding and asked them to make my bridal bouquet. I figured they wouldn't be able to do it just days before my wedding...they did! I gave them just a few things that I did not like (ie: the typical look that most bouquets have and Roses) I also told them I wanted it to look rustic. When I came to pick it up...I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I could not have imagined anything more beautiful. They had tiny pumpkins, fennel head ferns, calla lillies and more. My photographer mentioned to me that she had never seen a bouquet that was more stunning.

I worked with Judy at their Tesson Ferry location. Each time Judy wrote everything down, asked pertinent questions, and the outcome was stunning and oh-so perfect. From speaking with our floral design planners I had a clear understanding what I wanted but Judy was able to take my notes and drawings and bring it to life. We are very happy with the service, flowers, and final bill. What a very positive experience. Highly recommended. Two Thumbs up!!!!!

I had no idea what I wanted. I'm just not that great with flowers. Walter Knoll Florist made me some of the most gorgeous bouquets I've seen (and I looked at a LOT of bouquet photos) with my vague descriptions of what I wanted. They worked in my budget and didn't skimp on the gorgeousness! The customer service was top notch as well! I had gone to another florist who made me feel stupid and didn't listen to anything I said. Walter Knoll listened to every word and made me feel very comfortable.

We only used fresh flowers for the ceremony, so I can't comment on centerpiece design. We used the whole sale flowers for the vases and had Walter Knoll make the bouquets! I gave them pictures of what I had in mind, and the bouquets turned out better than expected! If you are looking for low cost, go with the wholesale! If you need help with designing centerpieces and bouquets, then I think the value is worth the stress it saves! Great quality and service!

This is the florist you want to go to where they won't charge you an arm and a leg. The service was okay; I ended up dealing with several reps because my original rep was incognito (Took days to respond to me by phone and e-mail).
I chose a spring flower for a late summer wedding, and it ended up not working out due to quick wilting. WKF was able to contact me right away and inform me of the issue; also helped find a replacement.
The reason for the low value rating is because my bouquet had brown edges. Luckily, they did not show in the photos.
I would recommend WKF to a friend/family member only for the price aspect. $40 for an in-season bridesmaid/MOH bouquet. Single rose corsage was $10. In-season boutonniere was $8.
Hope this helps brides-to-be!

The flowers were amazing! I worked with Stephanie at their S Hampton location. I didn't have a great "vision," per se, but I did know what I liked and didn't like. She wrote everything down, asked pertinent questions, and the outcome was stunning and oh-so perfect. She even weaved in special flowers and peacock feathers that were super fun. I had checked around with a few florists and no one could beat WK's prices. The only reason for not a perfect score was the wedding day -- we had some serious miscommunication with WK staff who tried to give my dad the whole load of flowers when he only needed to pick up a few stems -- despite the fact that we'd paid for delivery. And, we'd ordered 3 pedestals for the ceremony and only got 2 delivered. That said, they made right on their agreement and delivered a third pedestal in time for the ceremony. So, really no harm done, but I'm also not a bridezilla who freaks over the little stuff:) Loved them.

These guys were AMAZZZZIIIIINNNGGGGGG :)
I went in not knowing what in the world I wanted and they sat down with me and was so patient! We picked out flowers I have never seen before and it got me so excited about my flowers when I wasn't origially so :) I basically let them work with what I wanted and they were so professional and creative!!!
I planned all of this before my husband came in so I asked for a quick meeting to show him what I was up to. I was worried because it was such a busy time of year but the owner made time for us-EVEN THOUGH she had 3 weddings that day!!!
My flowers ended up being one of the most beautiful and exciting parts of our wedding day and I will for sure use them for any flower need from now on.
GO TO THEM!!! They are brilliant! :)

My flowers were so gorgeous. I didn't use them for decor b/c my wedding planner took care of all of that, but Walter Knoll did take care of all flowers for the wedding party and they looked exactly like the pictures I took them showing them what I wanted. I was very pleased.

I had a great experience with Walter Knoll. Candace at the Hampton location had great ideas during my consultation. Flowers were important to me, but not the biggest expense I wanted to incur. She took my cost considerations and married them with wonderful solutions to give me the looks I was going for. It took a couple of tries to get the centerpieces right, but Candace was on it and delivered on exactly what I wanted.
None of the flowers wilted and they looked gorgeous, well beyond the reception that evening. Thanks, Candace and thanks WK!

I love this florist! They have beautiful flowers and the workers are awesome! The one reason why they got two 3/5 instead of all 5/5 was because the lilies in the bouquets still had pollen on them when they were delivered - pollen can rub off on the dresses and have hard to get out spots on the dresses. We took pictures before hand so some of the girls got pollen on the dresses. Luckily a man from another florist and took the pollen off. So make sure if you choose lilies that whoever you go to for flowers - make sure they take off the pollen! Other than that - LOVED the service and great place to work with! It was exactly what I wanted!

We were told that Walter Knoll was the the best in St. Louis. We worked with Louise from the O'fallon location and were somewhat dissapointed. She was friendly and for the most part, professional. We did all of our wedding preparation from across the county, so we asked if we could make an appointment to come see an example of the bridal bouquet before the wedding. There was nothing prepared when I came in. They just showed me a couple of flowers that were kind of close to the same colors of the flowers that were going to be in the bouquet. Also, when I signed the contract I was told by Louise that the person bringing the flowers to the wedding would be pinnning all of the flowers on the bridal party. At the wedding, Louise brought the flowers (while they were beautiful, many of them were turning brown and wilting--no joke) and informed me that some of them were not the ones I had ordered because they 'were stuck in another state'. They did bring other beauiful flowers to use to replace the ones missed. Thank goodness I wasn't a bridezilla, lol. Also, when I asked her when she was going to pin the flowers on the bridal party, she informed me in a very matter-of-fact manner, that it was 'not her job'. Wow! Needless to say, I was dissapointed.

Decent pricing and everything was nice and done on time. No problems.

We used Louise Krueger from the O'Fallon branch of Walter Knoll and we could not have been happier! I went in knowing only the wedding colors and that I wanted something different, highly textured and with not a single sprig of baby's breath, green leaf or red rose. I did have a few ideas but they were sadly out of season--however, I mentioned that I loved orchids but didn't believe I'd be able to afford them, and Louise proved me wrong! I told her our colors were copper and eggplant, and she immediately gave me a list of flowers she thought would work. They were inventive and a little funky--twists on traditional flowers (vampire blood orchids for the main flower, plus brown hydrangea, hocus pocus and black magic roses, orange dahlias, hypericum berries, and Schwartzwalder mini calla lilies). After meeting her one time, we ran into her at a bridal show and she remembered every detail of the meeting, down to the specific colors of roses and that I was worried about it looking like a Goth wedding. :) The fact that she remembered us that well really made us feel sure about contracting her. When I decided I wanted to make my own boutonnieres, she didn't complain, and actually asked me for some of the white tallowberries I used for my husband's bout to include in my bouquet. I was super nervous because I had no idea how it was all really going to work together--and when my mom handed me my bouquet, it took my breath away. It was absolutely perfect! She had even used pearl pins to hold on the ribbon wrap because she overheard me telling my mother that I was looking forward to wearing my pearl necklace and earrings for the wedding. The bridesmaids all loved their bouquets and the altar arrangement was stunning. All in all, we had a perfect experience!

we used Walter Knoll at the Lasalle location, we ordered the flowers and rented table space and a designer to help us create all of our flowers. It was the most fun you could have it was such a stress breaker, we were allowed 4 people and we paid extra for 4 hours and 2 hours with a designer and they kept the flowers in the cooler for us and delivered them to our hotel on the wedding day. Everyone there was great and they helped us even after our two hours. The flowers turned out beautiful and so way below budget we had calla lillies and blood red roses with gerber daisies they made it so easy for us. I would highly recommend them not only for their do it yourself service but also for just purchasing their normal flowers. Seeing how it is done in the background gives me such a respect for what they do.

My flowers were amazing and exactly what I had invisioned! Perfect touch to my wedding! So glad I went with Walter Knoll!
GUEST

Wonderful to work with! We worked with Erica at the Tesson Ferry location and she was awesome!!! She created beautiful arrangements for our outdoor wedding which were exactly what we were looking for! She had great ideas and WKF was so easy to work with throughout the process! The price was much more affordable than any other florist we looked at too!
GUEST

Wonderful service! We worked with Elizabeth at the Lasalle location. My flowers were everything that I could ever dream of and the price was just right for me. Thanks for all your help! You made our wedding day perfect!
GUEST

I was referred to Walter Knoll by a friend who used them for her wedding. I spoke with Louise at the O'Fallon store and she was so friendly and understood exactly what I wanted, even before I showed her the pictures I had found.
The actual cost for the flowers I wanted was well below the budget I had anticipated and the quality was still exceptional. They had no problem with making one of the bouquets silk due to my friend's allergies and they even recommended making the accompanying groomsman's boutonniere silk as well (I would have never thought of that!)
GUEST

They were great but in my opionon they were a little expensive for what we got. If I had to do it again I would definitley do more research.
GUEST

Walter Knoll did a great job of listening to me and figuring out what I actually wanted (because I was one of those brides that did not have any idea!). They flowers were delivered on time and were beautiful.
GUEST

Walter Knoll, in O' Fallon, was great. The flowers were beautiful and the guidance that Louise, our florist, gave was great. She helped me decide on bouquet styles, centerpieces, the colors of the flowers and so many other details. Everything was delivered/setup on time making for a stress free day.
GUEST

I chose to order my flowers and have someone else make my bouquets. This worked out great because I was able to save a lot of money on flowers. However when you are ordering flowers at Walter Knoll make sure you get someone who will help you I was in there several times and one lady was rude and very unhelpful and her knowledge of certain flowers and their colors was well below par. It is scary to order flowers based on someone else's recommendation on what color certain flowers come in. Thankfully you do not have to accept the flowers when you go to pick them up if they are not what you had in mind so make sure to have a back up if you are ordering unusual flowers.
GUEST

Walter Knoll was incredible. Our rep was Bob down at the LaSalle St. location -- he listened to all of my suggestions for fall flowers/colors and came up with bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages that far surpassed my expectations. He even threw in a couple of extra boutonnieres, just to make sure the entire party was covered. We went with all chrysanthemums, and he took me back to the fridge so that I could hand-pick the exact flowers I wanted. Also, he incorporated my grandmother's handkerchief into my bouquet. Thank you, Bob!
GUEST

I had a good experience overall. I had a lot of problems getting my rep to call me back. I would call her probably 5 times every time I needed to talk to her before getting back to me. I wanted something really different and funky, and they seemed to be very traditional. I told her I wanted cool flowers that were unique, and I got bouquets of red roses. The flowers were beautiful, but not really what I wanted.
GUEST

I actually put together my own flowers at Walter Knoll Florist after another local florist screwed me over. I LOVED the service there. Everyone was so helpful. They made the experience so fun. They delivered the flowers on time and everything was exceptional
GUEST

I was almost completely happy with Walter Knoll. They were very attentive and helpful during the whole process. We met with Karen at the Olive store several times to discuss the flowers and she was more than gracious and helpful each time. I ended up changing my mind about the flowers a month or so before the wedding and she had no problem discussing the changes and helping me pick arrangements that turned out beautifully. We were very happy with the flowers we were provided with on the day of our wedding. My bouquet was beautiful! We did end up with 2 extra bouquets that day which was annoying to pay for flowers that no one used but in the end the flowers we did use were absolutely beautiful.
GUEST

We were thrilled with our florist. We were able to sit down face to face with a florist and design our bouquets etc. He even let us walk through the coolers and just pluck up flowers we liked and then figured out a way to put it all together. We were also pleasantly surprised that they were the same cost if not a little cheaper than some of the other florists we spoke with.
GUEST

Walter Knoll was very understanding with us. However, I was very disappointed with my bouquet. I had asked for anything but "cardinal red" roses - I wanted an orangish rose. She asked me twice if I wanted cardinal red, and I said NO! NO! NO!.. and what did I get? Cardinal Red Roses. It's a small thing to be upset about but, c'mon, that's ridiculous. Oh, and we special ordered my husband's boutineer and it was MISSING one of the EXPENSIVE flowers. And I bought a toss bouquet and they forgot it! It was just an extra hassle. They didn't even do anything to make up for the fact that they screwed up his boutineer. If I was to redo the day I'd pick a better florist. The lady who did our centerpieces was a family friend and she did ten times better than them.
GUEST

They were very friendly and did a fantastic job of helping us pick out our flowers. I didn't feel overwhelmed with making another decision because of there expertise.
GUEST

My flowers were exactly how I wanted them. They even made a mock bridesmaid boquet up for me before hand so that I could see them before the wedding.

Walter Knoll has several shops in the St. Louis area. Since we were having such a small wedding (one attendant each), we opted to order flowers wholesale and assemble them ourselves.
I first went to my local WK shop to see if I could order the flowers. They were not very helpful. Eventually, I went to the wholesale site and found exactly what I wanted. We ordered several dozen mokara orchids for centerpieces (put into vases from Michael’s with river stones from the Dollar Store). I was a bit upset because the price went up significantly (and for no apparent reason) between the time I put down my deposit and the time they ordered them (this is when I was still attempting to work with the local shop. I eventually cut back on my order to save money), but they did at least inform me prior to ordering them at the inflated price. Flowers came in on time and we had no problems with picking them up. I understand they also have tables available for rent if you want to assemble your centerpieces at the location itself.
For our bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, we bought seasonal single flowers; Walter Knoll sells cut flowers at ½ price every Saturday, so we got a real bargain!

This is one flower company that you can not only trust to come through each time but also a flower company that offers a wide selection of wedding flower arrangements and other wedding displays. Walter Knoll Florist really put together a nice couple of displays of dozens upon dozens of flowers for our wedding. The wide selection and also the smart and intelligent people were great to work with and learn some of what they did and how well they did it. I am satisfied in all of the flowers that they provided for my wedding.

Walter Knoll did an exceptional job on my flowers! Everyone that sees my pictures asks where I got such beautiful flowers.
GUEST

Absolutely loved everything that Walter Knoll did. My flowers were gorgeous. The only complaint I would have - and it's not their fault, some of the flowers that were ordered for my men's boutineers were had not bloomed enough, and they wanted to use roses. I had not wanted any roses in my wedding and was upset about that. But they did their best to make the flowers gorgeous. I appreciated that they called and asked if it would be okay - and I said so. Overall their ideas and creativity were top notch.
GUEST

Walter Knoll was okay!!! A few things went wrong though!! Part of my ceremony was written to include daisies to be handed out to my parent's during the ceremony, and the florist gave us some blue flowers instead. Also, the florist, I originally began working with, must have gotten fired or something, but no one called to tell me about it. I found out when I called to discuss some changes!! Over all, they do good work, they have beautiful arrangements, the prices is right, but make sure to go over things detail by detail.
GUEST

We knew nothing of flowers and he pushed us into all these different things... making the bill higher and higher. Later on we found out that the flower's were really over priced. AND he gave us an estimate with all the stuff we could ever want on it... so we took that and cut out quite a few things... and low and behold, the bill was even higher than the estimate... even with all the cuts! The flowers were beautiful but you can get beautiful flowers at any florist!
GUEST

Knoll Florist was great! My grandmother worked for them for a long time, so of course I went to them for my flowers! I got two bridal boquets, 7 bridesmaids bouquets and about 10 bouteneirs (sp?). They delivered our large order right on time and they were simply gorgeous!! Good price, good product, listened to what I wanted and even though the specific flowers I wanted weren't available, I got exactly the look I was going for!
GUEST

We worked with Bob at Walter Knoll for our June wedding in 2007. We loved him! He came up with the perfect floral arrangements for our entire wedding party, and used flowers we'd never even heard of! Not only was he a great guy to work with, but he was able to arrange our dream flowers for less than we'd budgeted for. I highly recommend Bob and everyone at Walter Knoll to every bride I know.
GUEST

Walter Knoll Florist was a one of my favorite vendors. I was extremely involved with the entire process from getting to see the flowers in their freezers, to visiting their greenhouse, to picking out our centerpiece containers from a huge selection. Margaret was extremely helpful, broke down our prices arrangement by arrangement, made suggestions and we ended up with a beautifully decorated ceremony and reception all within our target budget. They arrived on time to each of our locations on the day, and a staff member was their to pin boutonnières and make sure all the arrangements were placed correctly. There was on mistake when they accidentally forgot our head table arrangement but were on the phone in seconds and a new (more elaborate arrangement by the way) was assembled and arrived at our reception site before the ceremony even started. I love Walter Knoll.
GUEST

Walter Knoll was great in that we got beautiful flowers at wholesale prices.
We booked them because we could save money by doing some of our own arrangements in their warehouse. I paid about $120 for the bouquets of 7 attendants and our total flower cost was less than $500. This included my bouquet, the female attendants, a mother in law corsage and the men's flowers. We used roses, bells of ireland and yoko ono poms.
Doing our arrangements went smoothly. The staff were there to help us and we ended up with nice hand tied arrangements that looked better that ones I'd seen my friends pay to have done professionally. They charge $25 and hour to do your own arrangements but we were never billed--a nice surprise.
My bouquet alone only cost $120 and it was a huge arrangement of roses, bells of Ireland and staphonosis (sp??). It was big...but it was also heavier than anticipated and it felt like the handle could snap if I wasn't careful. The ribbon on the handle came untied and showed in my pix but in the scheme of things---not a big deal.
My main issue with them was that I told them repeatedly that our wedding was downtown on St Pats Day. They assured us that delivery was no problem (there was a parade going on that day) The night before my wedding they called and said they were not able to deliver because of the parade. I don't know what transpired because my wedding planner handled it but that was not the message I needed to get 15 hours before my wedding.
Aside from that----great flowers and great price.
GUEST

we originally chose WKF for their prices, but came out loving them. They were very helpful and responsive to our last minute changes. Great service, and beautiful flowers. I am still getting compliments about the flowers on my cake, 1.5 years later!
GUEST

Suzie at Walter Knoll off Olive Rd did a great job. Especially when I had already negotiated the deal, then my parents decided to essentially double the order. One issue was a misunderstanding about the number of lapel pins, so one guy had to go without. Display on the cake was great, flowers at each table were lovely, and the bridesmaids could use their bouquets as centerpieces on some of the tables. It was a much better value than Ladue Florist.
GUEST

Walter Knoll Florist was wonderfull to work with. I went in not knowing what I wanted, and they took the time to help me. I was never rushed or told what I should get. They showed me pictures and some samples they had in their shop which was a huge help. When it came down to my wedding day, the florrist showed up to the church 45 min before I did. She put everything together for me and waited to see if we need help with anything else, lucky for me because I forgot a flower for my husbands godfather. So she made one call and 20 min lator it was there and know one was the wiser. They were so great to work with, I tell everyone who needs fliowers for anything to go to them they give you exactly what you want at anytime.
