Warren Priske Old Hollywood Jazz Band
Hi Warren. Becky and I wanted to thank you again for doing such a wonderful job at the wedding. The music was perfect, and your emceeing and coordinating efforts made the night. You were doing such a great job keeping everything moving that at one point in the evening I looked over at Becky and said "what if this guy wasn't here?" You really kept everything together and made the night a lot of fun. You are an amazing emcee.
As I mentioned before we hired you, Becky and I are both professional jazz musicians. We interviewed so many male (and female) singers, but no one came even close to your talent level for this genre of music. You seemed so comfortable and effortless, and we received numerous compliments on the band throughout the night. You fit in perfectly with our Old Hollywood theme.

I'm so happy your day turned out as you had hoped. I'm glad I could be a part of it. You two seem like such a great couple. Take care.
Music was impeccable, Never heard anything so smooth. They didn't get in the way and neither did the cost, Very nice. Highly suggested to anyone getting married.
I had Warren and a 5-piece jazz band at my wedding on May 8. I wanted the entire big band, but it was just out of my budget. It was just him, piano, bass, guitar, drums and saxophone. I couldn't believe how much sound these guys made with this small band. Warren actually sounded better than he does on his demo I heard online because it stood out more in the smaller jazz combo. The look, the sound, everything was perfect-- and all my guests LOVED his personality (especally my bridesmaids)!!! He was probably the best emcee I'd ever seen at a wedding, and he wasn't cheesy or corny. He took care of all the announcements enthusiasm and class. He was able to get people laughing and having fun while keeping things elegant at the same time.
Warren helped us plan our wedding reception in advance and basically coordinated the entire reception. We were too busy greeting guests to worry about the schedule, so he just tapped us on the shoulder now and then to see if we were ready for the next event. The best thing was that he really kept the night moving and never let the party lag (one thing I hate about most weddings). He and the band kept the dance floor packed most of the night until it was time for the next announcement.
Warren-- Of all the things we did for our reception we got the most compliments on you and the band. My mom won't stop raving about you. I think we might have to have to have you back for their 30th anniversary in November. Thanks again, Warren! You guys are AMAZING!!! Stay in touch.

Thanks guys. It was great getting to know you and your family. Jessica, your mom is a riot! So fun. Please tell her I said hello and she owes me another dance.
After my wedding , People told me that we had the most amazing band.
They cater to all age groups by playing all types of music; and they had
no problem playing all of the songs that we requested. We could not have
been happier. I don't think that there was one time throughout the
whole reception that the dance floor was not filled. We highly recommend
them! They were very professional and went above and beyond. Thanks!
On time Classy and they had the house moving all night Pierre
Wow is pretty much all I can say about Warren and his Jazz band. They are professional and the music is well arranged and performed. Your guests will be talking about your event for years to come. Let them "fly you to the moon" with their smooth sounds and classic jazz.
It's that Old Hollywood feel you have been looking for. Classic standards from the 30s, 40s and 50s. Frank, Dean, Bing, Nat 'King' Cole, Mel Tormé, Bobby Darin, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble, and so many more. Warren preserves the timing, swagger and traditional style that made these songs so irresistible. He performs this timeless material in a flexible variety of ensemble sizes suited for your event. From a Duo to a 6-piece combo, 9-piece Swing Band, to a complete 18-piece Big Band.
Warren specializes in entertaining sophisticated clients and their guests with the perfect mix of energy and elegance. Weddings are his specialty. He recently received the coveted "Brides Choice Award" from Wedding Wire and was recently selected by celebrity wedding planner David Tutera to perform on his hit TV show "My Fair Wedding with David Tutera."
In addition to his warm sound and vintage vocal style, Warren is a gifted and versatile emcee who can handle all your special announcements and introductions. Whether you are planning an exquisite ballroom reception or an edgy roof-top cocktail party, you can count on Warren and his band to arrive with the appropriate energy, demeanor and attire. Female singers are also available to accompany him to your wedding. Be sure to ask Warren about disc jockey services to take over later in the evening or between band sets.
"Hi Warren. Mike and I just wanted to say we absolutely LOVED your perfromance at our wedding. We are so happy and so relieved. We looked all over the internet and could not find ANYONE who sang this type of music the way you do. We were afraid we were going to end up with a cruise ship act or a Vegas lounge lizzard. We were just about to give up when the Wilshire staff told us about you. You are a class act, and we received nothing but compliments from our guests throughout the night. You are the first thing that comes up when we run into anyone who was at the wedding. You have something special here. Keep it up. "

The Singer: In my opinion most local male jazz and big band singers really ought to bill themselves Frank Sinatra impersonators. There is nothing wrong with that, but one of the things that makes me different from most is that I have my very own style. I do try to keep a vintage sound and feel, but without immitating any one singer in particular.
The Emcee: You probably won't realize the importance of a good emcee until the day of your wedding. It is the most important, and most overlooked, part of a wedding. If you don't believe me just ask the your weding coordinator or the venue staff where you are having a wedding reception. I have emceed weddings for more than 18 years. I understand the format, and know how to keep your special events organized and your wedding guests entertained-- and without looking like a gameshow host. The emcee is the voice and the face of the band. He is also the most dangerous guy in the room. He can make your wedding day upbeat, organized and elegant, or he can make it just the opposite.
I would be honored to play at your wedding. Thanks for looking, and good luck with all your wedding plans.
