Waterfront Banquet facility

1. Gersh was out of town and put someone else is charge of our wedding who we never worked with before or ever met. This person said Gersh did not provide them with ANY of our wedding info which we spent over 1.5 hours going over with Gersh at our final meeting.
2. Nothing was set up correctly and they would not help us move it prior - thank God we arrived early and had a wedding planner and a large bridal party to help.
3. People were allowed in the room prior to the start of cocktail hour which they guaranteed us would not happen.
4. They threw out our cake tops - accused us of taking items from the reception hall but when questioned on if they saw us do it they didn't have a leg to stand on. Also apologized prior saying that their cleaning staff threw away the missing items but when Gersh returned they tried to save their own butts by blaming us.
5. Missing several other items that they said they would hold for us until the next morning.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHADY. Beware - or at least hope that Gersh is in town for your event. Complete mess and not one apology or effort to help fix these and the other issues.

I happened to be working the night of the wedding below whose review is less than exemplary. The bride tried to get money back by accusing us of taking/throwing away the items in her complaint...However, when we reviewed our security tapes after fielding her complaint, we could plainly see her wedding party carrying out the items she accused us of throwing away. With that being said, I am pretty sure the rest of this review can be wholly discredited. It's a shame, anyone can say anything on the internet. We should have a directory for ROGUE customers like Vegas does for cheaters, so other businesses can be saved the aggravation from customers like this.

We held our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner along with our wedding ceremony and reception at the Waterfront Banquet Facility. It was a beautiful location. The ceremony was held on the outside patio which sits along the river and has beautiful landscape. The banquet room is simple but elegant. They did a good job setting the place up for us. They only host one wedding event a day which is nice because they focus soley on your event.

My husband and I really liked the location and it was nice for our guests because they didnt have to drive between the ceremony and reception. Everybody has been complimenting us on how well everything turned out

I used the Waterfront for my bridal shower. Everything was nicely prepared and no-hassle. I decided to have a small shower and everyone was accommodated. We had an omelet station and buffet style brunch. The room was neat and clean. The event was perfect and I would recommend the Waterfront for any special occasion.
