We had our reception here and we couldn't have been happier. The grand ballroom is absolutely exquisite with a certain sense of old world charm. A beautiful chandelier hangs from the ceiling with ornate molding that lines the top of the walls. There are entire walls of windows that look out onto the country club grounds, which are lush and full of flowers in the spring and summertime.
The food was absolutely excellent and the service even better. This would be a perfect choice for anyone's dream reception

WCC was our choice for the wedding reception and we were very happy with it. They assigned us a representative to handle our account and answer our questions, which was a big help. She walked us through our options and gave us advice on how to throw a party in their venue. They do have a food and drink minimum but it was waived because we had our wedding on a Friday. They were able to accommodate some of our special requests like a stage for the band and bringing in our own chocolate fountain. Other things were restricted like the use of their staff to cut the cake.We opted for a small dessert and coffee bar and the country club had everything set up nicely. It wasn't cheap but we felt like we got a great value because of the service and the beauty of the place.
About Wayzata Country Club
The country club has a large ballroom, able to seat up to 300 people. There is also a patio off the ballroom that overlooks the pool and gardens - perfect for a cocktail hour before dinner.
