Dawn was great at the rehearsal and the ceremony. She's very experienced and knows what to do, and had a great selection to choose from for the vows.

Dawn was amazing! We chose her after our wedding coordinator Ashly, recommended her to us. She was so sweet at the meeting we decided to book her.
She came over to our side (Yorktown) for our rehearsal and I am so glad she did...she definitely helped put my mind at ease. Dawn was also very flexible and allowed my fiance and I to write our ceremony ourselves. A couple wedding officiants I talked to before Dawn told me they wouldn't let us do that. Dawn had no problem with it and helped us figure out logistics and an order for the ceremony.
She was great! And I'm so glad we had her!

Reverand Dawn just married my husband and I on 10/24/10. It was perfect! She was very nice and fun to work with! Def. recommend her!!
My wedding was 10-10-10,which was a very busy day for Rev. Dawn Kenny. She very polite and helped out alot. The day of the wedding didn't go as planned but she went with the flow for us. She is a great officiant. I definitely will recommend her to everyone that is getting married. She also sent us a thank you card, which I thought was very sweet!
Rev. Kenny was so sweet, affordable and makes sure that you are ready with your vows the day of. I like the fact that she provided us with a template document where we could pick and choose exactly what we wanted to include in our ceremony. She arrived early the day of the rehersal and was very patient with us when we were running late. She made sure that everything and everyone was in their proper place for the ceremony. A very calming influence that I would highly recommend if you want some simple and elegant.

In the state of Virginia a wedding license is required. A license can be obtained at a Circuit Court clerk's office in any locality in the state of Virginia.
**There is a fee for the license. You will need cash to pay for the license. $30-$40
**Most licenses are good for 60 days.
**Both parties must be 18 years of age and have an I.D.
**No blood test is required.

Fees: $150-$195 for a wedding in the Virginia Beach area. This includes a meeting with the couple, help with writing vows and performing the ceremony. There is an additional fee of $50-$75 for the rehearsal. All fees increase with additional meetings and/or travel distance is added. Day of the week and holidays are also a consideration.
An online wedding ceremony samples booklet is available once a deposit is made and the wedding is scheduled for my services.
