I thoroughly enjoyed the photographer that was assigned to me by the Wedding Bug. She was very attentive to what I wanted and asked lots of questions to ensure I got what I wanted.
She did ask if I wanted pictures taken that were not checked on my "must-take" list, but it worked out pretty well.

The photographer they sent did a good job, however there were several photo shoot we requested in our original submission of paperwork that didn't happen. It was a great disappointment, since we can't go back and recreate those event. My only suggestion would be to have someone monitor what still shots are being taken to see if you get photos of those special moments.

Wedding bug is probably the BEST decision we made for our wedding! The price was amazing! the consultant Lynne was always prompt in getting back to me through email or phone calls. My photographer Leah was great! And we got married Saturday and our photos are already online for us to view (it's Thursday). They are great photos! Very pleased

Our DJ was great up until the reception. He didn't play any music hardly, the only time he engaged with the audience was passing out business cards and trying to ask friends out to concerts. Our experience was terrible and I'm still fuming over it.. It went from really fun evening to silence half the time because he was constantly fiddling with his equipment. Well you get what you pay for in this instance.

I originally hired wedding bug for photography, but later decided I wanted DJ services instead. They were very flexible in allowing my to shift my deposit to the other service. I was very pleased with their online interaction while planning my wedding long distance. The DJ never contacted me, so I called him the day before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page. The phone call ended well, and I was comfortable, but the next day the DJ didn't show. He didn't answer his phone, and I didn't have contact info for anyone at wedding bug to deal with last minute fiascos. I got a call Monday morning from Wedding Bug apologizing for the inconvenience and promising my refund check was in the mail. I don't know that they could've done anything else, but it would have been nice if I could've talked to someone sooner. For the price, I didn't expect much, and it definitely seemed like my experience was the exception to the rule. I hope so.

First what they don't tell you initially is that they sub contract. I had someone from another company as our photographer and he was horrible! I didn't receive a phone call from my photographer until the DAY BEFORE my wedding. Then he had the balls to come to my parents house and say that I should've contacted him sooner. I wasn't able to get his number even after numerous phone calls to Wedding Bug. He seemed like he was bothered to be there. He didn't get any good pictures of the pre wedding festivities. At the church after our ceremony he told my husband and I to stop walking down the aisle of the church and back up so he could get a good pic.
At the ceremony he kept trying to pull me out side while the DJ was announcing the Father/Daughter dance. He took more pictures of the food than anything else. He didn't stick to my check list AT ALL! He pulled the whole entire family away from the wedding to get a picture that took about 20mins to do. A few of my guests complained that he was eating more than he was taking pictures and the he was walking around with FOOD IN HIS MOUTH and taking pictures of people. I still have not received my Thank You cards which was included in my package and they sent me the wrong order TWICE! So no I would NEVER recommend these people to anyone! What a horrible experience!
They were cheap that is about the only thing going for them. But you do get what you pay for which is a whole lot of junk. I could go on forever about how bad this vendor is. Do yourself a favor and pay a little bit more.

Wedding big was great! You don't find out who is photographing or video-graphing you until the week of the wedding which wasn't a big deal-- the problem came when around 8pm the night before the wedding I got a call that due to some freak incident, my photographer would be unable to make it-- imagine my dismay! The company quickly found us another replacement and the same night around 9pm I spoke with Jack who was able to fill in. Jack was a pleasure to work with... he was great! Very happy with the response -- had I booked a photographer myself and not through Wedding Bug, there wouldn't have been an option for a replacement... very happy indeed... :)
Michael the videographer was pretty nice--other than the initial call we really didn't speak much since he was busy videotaping and such-- but irregardless, as far as I can tell, he did his job well...

Ron was our photographer and he was fantastic!!!! He truly has an incredible eye for beauty and cherished moments. He was fun, involved and a great motivator. Wedding bug in general was very professional, they shipped everything quickly and their prices can't be beat!

My DJ did an excellent job. She provided all the music I requested, which was not easy. The only complaint I had was the company's policy of contacting the client. The DJ was advised not to contact me earlier than one week before my wedding and after the final payment was paid in full.

The price is good. They are responsive to emails. One thing that bothered me was that I was not informed who my photographer would be until two weeks before the wedding. It did not put my mind at ease at all since I had specific ideas of what kind of shots that I wanted and did not have a chance to discuss them. I sent an email list of shots that I wanted - a form that I filled out with Wedding Bug - and the most important shot to me was completely left out. It wasn't a quick shot, the photographer had a good 5-6 minutes in order to get it and he completely missed the boat. I received a total of 208 photos and 30 of them were of the same thing . . . ?
When the photographer was taking photos in front of a fireplace, I felt like we were not centered. The photographer said, "no, it is fine." We are most definitely NOT centered. That seems pretty basic to me as well as insuring that there are not random things in the background that could easily be moved for a cleaner shot. There are vases that are coming out of the top of people's heads . . . this is careless in my opinion. I had to spend a fair amount of hours editing these things out, but not everyone has the skill to do that.
In conclusion, you do get what you paid for. I got my CD quickly, and there were enough photos to choose 20 good ones. If you are wanting a high quality, artistic representation of your wedding day, go with a more personal approach to selecting a photographer. If you simply want a record of the day and you are on a tight budget, Wedding Bug will fit the bill for you. My 3.3 rating is an honest one.
I should mention that the photographer that we had was extremely friendly and accommodating on the wedding day, which we appreciated alot.

Wedding bug was great seems as thoug I hired them literally 2 weeks before my wedding. Sara Lee was an extr photographer that we hired for the cerony and reception and was so much fun! Extremely professional and made it a point to make sure that we had everything that we wanted and even more. I loved her!
Chris Loyd was our Dj and he was also great. I was making changes all the way up until the day of my wedding and he still got everything right'! Great guy and we danced the night away!

Wedding Bug was a steal of a deal and made finding a local photographer extremely easy. The only downside is that we didn't know who our photographer would be until about a week before the wedding, when all of the crazyness was starting. Gary, our photographer, was very nice, but we didn't seem to be on the same page. I felt like he didn't know what I wanted, even when I tried to explain a couple of times. We also had a long list of formal photos that we wanted to take after the ceremony with a large number of family members (maybe a little ambitious), so we needed someone that would take charge and get people to stop chatting and come over for the photos. Unfortunately, Gary was not that guy. My husband ended up trying to wrangle people and it took so long that we didn't do all of the photos we wanted to.
I'm not saying that all of the photographers with Wedding Bug are like this, just that if you have a specific vision or characteristic of your photographer in mind, then this may not be the option for you.

We had Gary as our photographer, he was awesome! He arrived early on seen to walk the premises to get ideas for the shoot after our wedding he was very polite and professional and just a joy to work with. He was creative and open for more ideas! It only took him 3 days to get all my pictures up for us and they were shipped within a week! The only downfall is I was under the impression they were being edited.. they weren't! But I love editing pictures so it didn't break my heart. I would definitely hire them again! They're prices are awesome!

The wedding bug was so easy to use and anyone i talked to was very professional. The photographer himself took great pictures. However, he didnt take many of the photos we had requested months ahead of time (like pictures of all our groomsmen together or formals with our son). Very dissapointed since we'll never have those now. A great company, but would have liked the photographer to pay closer attention to detail.

We just had our wedding at The Flakirk Estate and Country Club on November 11, 2012, and couldn't be any more pleased with the whole experience. Alicia was Phenomenal! Really loved what she was doing and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. We really just let her do her thing. She got a lot of amazing shots. She got all of the important shots and even some dramatic ones. I loved having her there and enjoyed the whole day. Can’t wait to see the final product, but I know just from sneaking a peek at some of the photos throughout the day they will be stunning. I have had the worst experience with Wedding Bug for my wedding photography. This is the first time I've written a review online, but my experience has been so bad, I had to let others know. They sent a very inexperienced photographer, who didn't have any good location/shot recommendations, did not give us any ideas or direction for the photos. He submitted 530 photos, of which 150 were good. Most of his photos were off-center and looked like an 8 year old took them. It took 2 weeks for me to get a link to view the photos, another week to get some bad ones removed, and then the ones I asked to be removed were still there, and others I didn't want removed were missing. They also do not allow easy navigation with the online link and it takes forever to view the photos. You have NO editing rights, which is very frustrating. They were cheaper than other quotes I received, which are why I booked Wedding Bug, but honestly, I got hassle and cheap photos. I would highly recommend NOT using them, if you want nice memorable photos of your wedding without a ton of hassle and frustration.

The consultant I worked with, Ashley, was great! She answered all my questions, she was almost always available when I would call, and when she wasn't, she called me back right away or the next day. she was able to accommidate my needs and helped me build a package that was within our budget. Our photographer, Sharon, seemed great the whole day...he was constantly snapping away with his camera but all you can do is hope that the photos will be able to tell a perfect story of your wedding day that will take your breath away. That's what I was hoping for in a photographer...and when I got my discs in the mail and looked at them...I got exactly what I was hoping for in Sharon's photography! I would have thought he was someone so close to the family with the love that was put into this photography. He was truly amazing!

My friend Lily just got married and use this service... Worst experience she ever had, and we've ever seen. First off the photographer didn't do anything but eat and sat on his butt... When confronted, his response was "it's in my contract to eat"... Do NOT use this photography group. They are terrible. I hired this company to be my wedding photographers. I filled out a survey with my needs/wants and was told they would assign me a photographer based on my answers. They said the photographer would contact me closer to my wedding date. Four days before my wedding, I still hadn't heard from my photographer. When he finally called it was after 9pm at night and I was asleep. I still answered the phone and the photographer was extremely unprofessional. He introduced himself as being from a different company and acted like I was weird for being asleep. I called my wedding bug consultant the next day and expressed my concerns. I asked to see a sample of his photography and they refused. They WILL NOT let you see examples of your photographers work, period. I called their sister company "The Pros" whom the photographer also worked for and was able to get a sample of the photographers work. When I saw it I instantly knew why they wouldn't show me his pictures. They were terrible. Absolutely no imagination, they looked like pictures I would take and I am THE WORST photographer in the world. There were even pictures were he was taking pictures of the mother of the bride changing clothes. Everyone in the picture is giving him dirty looks like why are you taking pictures while she's changing? He was clearly a pervert. I called my consultant and told him I didn't feel comfortable with the photographer. They said they didn't have any other photographers available and I was stuck with who they gave me. I said I would take my chances finding a different photographer (3 days before my wedding) and that I wanted my money back. But while they refunded some of my money they refused to refund a $250 deposit. But I was still out the $250 and had to deal with the stress of finding a new photographer 3 days before my wedding. Do not use this photographer.

This was the worst experience my husband and I have ever had with any company. They will contact you initially in order to receive your payment, then good luck after that. Our photos are HORRIBLE. A fish eye lense was used for every single picture, so everyone who wasn't in the very center of the photo was distorted. I would only refer my worst enemy to this site. The customer service end of it is completely lousy, and good luck getting someone to return your phone calls. Your wedding photos are irreplaceable, so this would be a poor choice in services.

I was so excited to find this affordable photography company! The photographer seemed really nice on the phone, although he didn't show up to our appointment the night before the wedding because he had double booked himself. I tried really hard not to micromanage this area of the wedding because I knew he was professional and I was doing my best to trust him. That was my mistake. He told me he was a sports photographer, but considering he worked for this company I figured he knew what he was doing. I didn't get most of the shots I wanted, and many of the ones he did get were horrible snap shots with bad backrounds and awkward positioning. Overall I'm pretty disappointed in the pictures. I chose WeddingBug because their photojournalistic style of photography on their website was exactly what I wanted, but not at all what I got. Good price for the service compared to others, if only I had gotten what I was promised. I've been talking to the branch manager to see what can be done to fix the situation, but so far haven't gotten anywhere...

I felt like in order to get that great shot things had to be held up for it. That wasn't pleasant for me or my wedding party. Was not overall impressed with the service we recieved, but for the cost of it,(under $1000 compared to others that were $2000+) I guess you really get what you paid for. They dont actually even contact you until about 3 days before the wedding, and that was hectic for us already. We explained what we wanted done, and the photographer did that, but he really showed us nothing in the way of artistic shots. Luckily my brothers girlfriend is a wedding photographer and brought her camera(we didnt have her shoot it because we wanted her to enjoy the wedding), so Meg really saved the day. She took charge and told us what to do and really got some great pictures for us, where as the ones we paid for were mediocre at best.

I was originally told I'd be assigned a photographer a month before the wedding; turns out I had to wait until the week before. That stressed me out a little, especially since I didn't really have a chance to review any of the photographer's work before meeting him on my wedding day, but he turned out to be quite good and took some really beautiful shots. We had a lot of special requests and he was willing to indulge us with those. I loved that we get all our photos on a disc, have all rights to the photos, and have one-year usage of an online photo gallery. Best value around!

When we selected Wedding Bug for our photography I was a little nervous. It is very inexpensive, but I was worried the photos would not be very good. My husband and I got very lucky. We were assigned a wonderful photographer with lots of experience. However, Wedding Bug itself was terrible. They took forever answering our questions, phone calls and emails. Our photographs had to be sent to us three times, because the discs they were on were scratched, and half of our photos were missing. I would think very hard before selecting this vendor.

Wedding Bug said they had a photographer and videographer for us and a two weeks before wedding said they double booked videographer, Sorry. Then they scheduled us a photographer who's bio we were good with, then the week of wedding said, sorry, his first wedding is running longer than we thought. Gave us another photographer at the last minute and that's just what we got -- A LAST-MINUTE FLUNKIE!!!! He only post what pics he wanted to post and left out a ton of pictures he took and most of the angles were crooked on the picture. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!!!! I got married august 12 its now october 22 today and i still dont have ALL of my wedding pictures!!! They have sent me 4 or 5 dvds all with only 500 pictures on there when there should be 663 im missing pictures of my whole reception! They keep sending new dvds stating that they will PERSONALLY make sure all of the pictures are on there which they should of done from the get go anyways they still have obviously failed to do so. Its awful and i would not reccommend this place to anyone.

My photographer was Barack S. and he was great! Very professional and enthusiastic. The photos turned out great and he worked very hard to get all the little details I wanted.
I was worried about Wedding Bug at first-I didn't know much about them, didn't find tons of reviews, etc. Then I began to worry that I had no idea who the photographer would be and how the personality would go along with my wedding party.....I stopped thinking about that because as a destination wedding that would happen a bit anyway. I found the webiste, consultant, and the photographer I ended up with to be lovely-especially for the price. I got 8 hours for about 1000 and the photos turned out great-no crazy artsy filters or anything stylized but it fit my budget and we had a lot of fun getting some very lovely, romantic photos that captured everything.

I pray that as many brides as possible read this review. This vendor created every bride's worst nightmare: awful wedding photos. On this one day, the day you have dreamt of since you were a little girl, you put all your trust in a photographer to capture each moment of that day. Our "photographer" was 15 minutes late the day of the wedding, arrived with one camera and no flash. All of the photos were out of focus, too far away, dark and/or no artistic quality at all. We do not even have one frame-able picture from our wedding. The first kiss- blurry, out of focus and far away. The first dance- 2 pictures- from a distance!! There is not one picture of my Mom and brother walking down the aisle!! Those are just a few of the travesties. I had to contact the company on Thursday before our Saturday wedding to ensure that we had a photographer and to REQUEST the photographer contact my fiance and I. I can't even imagine what would have happened had I not called. The photographer did not call me back until 1pm the DAY before the wedding.
Furthermore, once we received the atrocious photos, I contacted Wedding Bug. Wedding Bug indicated that they also felt the pictures were not of a standard they support and had asked our photographer to "photo shop" our photos and we would receive a new disc of images shortly. This was the FIRST WEEK IN DECEMBER. It is now the 2nd week in February, still no disc. Completely unacceptable. I have contacted Wedding Bug several times since to ascertain where our "improved" photos are, and they have ceased to respond.
This is a heartbreaking story of a moment in our life that we will never get back and which we have no professional photos of. Thank God our friends took pictures with their phones, because most of those are better than our "professional" photos.
I implore everyone who reads this review to share our story with everyone you know so that another bride will not experience this dream shattering experience.

I am shocked that this company is still in business with a motto that because you pay less, don’t expect good quality. You probably didn’t see that on the website, we didn’t either. We were told about it after we received horrible pictures and complained to management. I guess we should have realized they were scam artists when they refuse to take credit cards so you are unable to dispute that they do not provide the service you paid for.
Before I talk about picture quality, be advised you will not get all the pictures expected. Even with big wedding moments, you are lucky to get one picture. We also were not sent all of the pictures, probably because of the poor quality. The resolution and framing are horrible. After we complained, they tried to use Photoshop. The color and lighting they used was so disgusting that it is anger-provoking. I am not going to get personal about the photographer, but I will say that you need to be on time on a wedding day. I will let you know the company informed us that they do not ask the photographers to meet any qualifications. They determine who to let go by the number of complaints that they get. So you are the Guinea Pig! I bet you didn’t see that on the website either.
We were all about saving some money and didn’t expect to get $5,000 service, but our guests took better pictures. The emotional distress my wife has experienced over this is not worth saving the money. The management that my wife has dealt with has been awful. They first admitted that we would get a full refund because of the pictures. The next person has been nasty towards my wife and said she is being too emotional about her wedding pictures. Is this the company you want capturing one of the most important days of your life? When we received half a refund the back of the check is stamped, “ENDORSEMENT OF THIS CHECK SUBSTANTIATES A RESOLUTION OF ALL CLAIMS.” The fact that they need this stamp indicates just how many unhappy customers they have had.

The customer service with Wedding Bug was great, as was the ease of doing everything online. They were able to book me less than a month before the wedding too. The photographer we got was ok. He took tons of photos (over 1000) and really went the extra mile but he did very little editing. Which brings me to my favorite part of wedding bug, that they give you all the negatives on a DVD for you to do what you want with. I like editing photos, so this was a big perk for me.

Sabrina Landry with Wedding Bug Studios was terrific with us! She delt with myself, and my now In-Laws being very particular about what they wanted. She also delt with both my mother and mother-in-law making very specific demands about what they desired and what was in their heads. She made sure our Wedding Bug Registry was set up which allowed us to make sure all payments were received long before the deadline date, as well as making sure that I received my Veteran's discount.
The Photographer: Deanna Trevizo, and Videographer: Andrea Lloyd, that she arranged for us in Denver were both fun and fantastic to work with. They also both have a really terrific "Artist's Eye". Deanna's photos have turned out beautifully and we can't wait to see Andrea's video. We are so grateful to them both!
Sabrina made sure to communicate with us all along the process. We received the digital negatives for our photos way ahead of the original timeline we were given. They're beautiful. Can't wait to see our video.

We used Wedding Bug to find our photographer and handle the contract. Sabrina was a huge help and it was so easy! I planned our elopement/small wedding prior to our move from DC to CO. It was such a relief to be able to handle this online, via email and I was delighted with our Photographer Autumn Lee from Dash Photography (seperate review written as well). We had 7 guests accompany us to the top of Pike's Peak in Colorado Springs via the Cog Railway for a very short (20 min) ceremony. We got such amazing pictures! Wedding bug had the perfect four our package for our ceremony and we got all the rights to the pictures via DVD/CD. I also really liked their Albums so we are ordering our wedding album through them as well.

I was a little skeptical at first because their prices were so low (which is abnormal for wedding photography), but I'm glad I chose them. The photographer arrived at the venue before me and was already taking photos. He captured every moment and I loved it! I am so grateful that I hired Wedding Bug to take photos at our wedding!! The pictures are AMAZING!!! The photographer, Robert, did not miss anything!!! He captured every moment if our special day!! The pictures were available online two days after our wedding - the Monday after our wedding (the wedding was on Saturday, June 30, 2012)!!! Then, the DVD (giving us all rights to the pictures) came that same week!! I could not believe that! I am so impressed with how quickly we received the photos!! More notably, we hired the photographer the SAME week as our wedding!!!! We were not going to have one but then realized how affordable Wedding Bug is and decided to go for it!! We are SO happy we made that decision!!! Wedding Bug greatly exceeded our expectations!!!! This is a terrific value! I don't think it can be beat!!! Our photographer was terrible. Most of the pictures were blurry, too dark, ior overexposed. Many of them had people with their eyes closed. He wouldn't help us with how we were standing/situated, or suggest taking certain types of pictures. He seemed very lazy and uninterested. We even had to ASK him to take pictures at the altar with our parents and family, and he said that he already got some of us up there during the cerremony. Come on! He was SPORTS photographer, I don't know how many weddings he had done, but I doubt he will get many in the future. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

Wedding Bug Studios worked just great for my husband and I. Nikki Miller our wedding consultant was always available whenever I called or e-mailed and had questions. Even when we had a change of venue for the church two weeks before time, it was not a problem for the photographer. Our Photographer Brian O. was wonderful. He made me laugh and smile and our pictures came out wonderful. He followed our photo list and then added even more poses. our church pictures were great!!! Brian O. captured all of our moments. Our outside pictures were beautiful. The photographer contacted us the week before the wedding, he was there at the church on time (even though I was late), and he was on time for the reception which was 25 minutes away from the church. If you are getting married in Northern New Jersey I would highly recommend Wedding Bug & highly recommend Brian O. as a photographer. He was very nice and very professional.

After paying for their services in advance, the pictures that had been promisto be delivered in two weeks are still not delivered in a month. phone calls have been non-existent. Their customer service is non-responsive don't follow up on even the most simple requests. Do NOT use this company!!!!!

The experience was great, my photographer was nice. My only hitch was that he was a few mins late and then left on the dot of the agreed leave time. Other than that, got pics and CD in time and pics were lovely, i would have preffered a little more editing but still pics were lovely, captured day well.

Terrible customer service. Very slow to respond to concerns. Worst part is they ruined our wedding video. Angles absolutely terrible, we had professionals performing and the videographer focused on their backs! He also forgot to turn the light on, so you cannot see anything. The bride and groom are hardly in the video. The videographer they chose seemed to significantly lack experience and not understand the importance of videography for a WEDDING.
Spoke with the director who said all she can offer is editing- really no difference and did not follow through on her promise of editing we discussed. It took a lot of phone calls and emails to get very little done. I absolutely do not recommend this company and hope that no bride choses to risk their videography with this company.

The process was really simple and easy. The price was unbeatable. The photographers showed up on time and with our checklist in hand. Our photos were returned to us in a very timely manner (quicker than anyone else I know). The infared camera was really cool, we didn't ask for it or know what it was but the pics from it were simply stunning.

I am so pleased with the whole process at Wedding Bug. Not only was my consultant extremely attentive, she helped me along the way while I was super nervous. Of course not meeting face to face is scary at first, but my consultant eased my fears. I am so happy with my pictures. They are even more beautiful than I imagined.
Reading these reviews, you have to make the decision yourself. You cannot please everyone every time. I think some of the negative reviews might be exaggerating a little. I never spoke to one rude person and was not lied to one time.

We had to find a photographer last minute because my husbands uncle who is a photographer had to back out about 3 months before our wedding due to unforseen circumstances. We did not budget for a photographer because of this and were in a tough spot with our funds running low. I guess you get what you pay for because I saw the great prices of Wedding Bug and the great reviews and went for it after going against my gut of really wanting to meet our photographer before our wedding.
We did run out of time to get the pictures that I wanted and that was my fault, but our photographer missed a lot of shots that we wanted and requested and I saw him looking at his phone quite frequently. I requested someone who would be directive and tell us what to do at times because we don't know anything about photography, but it wasn't that way at all.
After having to call the company 3 times after the wedding to ask for my link to see my pictures online I finally called customer service. My pictures came out okay, but most of them look like pictures that anyone could have taken.
Again, we did run out of time to get a lot of the shots that I wanted after the ceremony, but the last thing that I was thinking about on my wedding day was making sure we got good pictures because I thought that's what I was paying an expert for!

I worked with wedding bug for my wedding. they were fantastic. i was able to get engagement photos as well as wedding photos for a fantastic price. i worked with a photographer by the name of Tali. She was GREAT. Tali is definitely a MUST to have at your wedding. Absolutely disappointed with wedding bug. It is not advertised on the website but they actually sub out the work to local photographers, the person we had (Frank) had no wedding experience, his experience was with school proms. He had no clue what he was doing he kept wanting to take pictures of my hands and missed out on so many of the important pictures. Half the time we couldnt find him. When he came to do bridal prep pictures he was constantly trying to take pictures of my sisters dog. When my maid of honor was helping me put my dress on we could not find him to take pictures. He was later found outside taking pictures of the house. I had to tell him every picture that I wanted, half way through the wedding I was so upset that I didnt know we were going to be getting a contractor. Beware all of the pictures on the website are amazing, none of mine looked like that at all. Im so lucky I had 2 people at my wedding with cannons who took photos ( those photos were better then his) It seems like a really good deal but we would highly recommend doing a lot of research for your photographer.

You get what you pay for. They are inexpensive and they aren't the best. But I had a couple of professional photographers attending the wedding so I knew I would have amazing shots at the party and the ceremony. What I wanted was the potraits of family and us. And those came out great.
Our photographer was in the background a lot and once the party started he leaned against the wall a lot. I had to call him over to take shots I wanted.
He needed to be more assertive with guests who were taking pictures while he was because we have a lot of pictures where my flower girl and ring bearers aren't looking or there are reflections of people in the mirror behind us. My groom also wished he had given him more direction on how to stand- he wasn't feeling the Captain Morgan propped up leg look.
This is a national company that feeds your event out to freelancers so not everyone is the same level but I spoke to him on the phone once and he was at the wedding. But I knew I didn't want to spend a ton on a "pro" because I had friends who are pros taking pics at the wedding.

Our photographer was pleasant and got our photos back to us quickly, but we were disappointed with her lack of professionalism on more than one level. She didn't contact us before the wedding except once via text message to confirm that she was booked, and in hindsight, not having a discussion about expectations and our schedule was a huge mistake. The photographer didn't make good use of her time, wasn't very assertive, and didn't seem to have an eye for setting up creative shots in spite of the beautiful setting where our ceremony took place. We ended up with only about 400 photos total for a 4 hour booking, which wouldn't have been bad if they were all good photos. Unfortunately, there was only one photo of me and my husband that I liked well enough to enlarge, but even that one is over-saturated. Several of the photos that I included in the checklist Wedding Bug asks clients to fill out before the wedding were not taken. On top of that, many of the photos didn't seem as crisp as they could've been, many were over-saturated (so much so that I and my wedding party looked sun-burned when in reality our skin tone is pretty light). They were overall not very creative. I was so disappointed when we got our photos back that my husband suggested I stop looking at the photos because it saddened me so much. But you can't redo your wedding day. We contacted the company and spoke to two people, who both appeared on the surface to be understanding and empathetic. Unfortunately, their actions didn't reflect a genuine caring, especially the VP. Although he briefly acknowledged that the photographer made some mistakes, he wanted to focus blame on problems related to our wedding coordinator rather than take responsibility. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I would highly suggest than anyone considering using this company ask to see the portfolio of the photographer they intend to book for your event. Wedding Bug has some amazing photos in their portfolio, but you have to keep in mind that those are probably a compilation of some of their best photographers, which I believe they have nation-wide. We booked Wedding Bug for the wedding and decided to use another photographer for the engagement photos because Wedding Bug seemed a little pricey for that service. Our engagement photos were done by Jim Powers, and we LOVED them!!!! I kept looking at them over and over because they were so beautiful and candid and creative. I GREATLY regret that he wasn't our wedding photographer, and I would most highly recommend him instead.

Brian Hart was our photographer and he was wonderful. He made sure we got every pose we requested ahead of time and also any we thought of along the way. Brian went out of his way (even laying on the ground) to get beautiful shots. Wedding Bug also had our photos online in less than one week! We couldn't be happier!

If you're in the Delaware area don't use them. Yes, the price is reasonable but the quality of the work is awful. AFTER I signed the contract I was notified that I would hear from the photographer the week of the wedding. I emailed numerous times asking to have the photographer contact me at least two weeks before the wedding as both my husband and I have large families and we wanted to do not only a first look, but also all of the family pictures before the ceremony. I finally heard back from the company a week before the wedding telling me that the consultant that I had been working with for the past six months no longer worked there but that they would have the photographer contact me the next day. I did not hear from the photographer (Sue C.) until the Monday before the wedding, which was too late for me to be able to arrange everyone’s schedules to get them down to the site early (there are over 20 immediate family members in my husband’s family and over 30 in mine). Before speaking with the photographer I submitted a list through the Wedding Bug website of photographs I absolutely wanted. When I spoke to the photographer I explained that both the wedding and the reception were taking place outdoors at an herb garden with centuries old trees (they have one tree there that was planted the year Shakespeare was born!), a barn that was build in 1800 and beautiful gardens, as well as a large expanse of lawn where the reception tent would be set up. We went through the list that I had submitted and then I told her specifically that I did not want a bunch of “formal, posed” shots. I told her there would be people there requesting pictures that were not on the list, my wedding party mainly, and told her not to do any requests until all of the pictures on my list were taken care of and to tell anyone who asked for pictures other than them that she would take care of them during the reception after my husband and I made our entrance. I also told her that there were a few shots I wanted that I had forgotten to put on the list and we talked through them and told her that I wanted to take advantage of the beauty of the gardens and land and didn’t want a bunch of “lawn shots”. I explained as well how that a bag piper was leading my father and I up the aisle and that for the recessional, my brother in law and his friend would be playing “Good Love” on steel drums and acoustic guitar and that the whole wedding party would be dancing down the aisle. I was very specific about what I did and did not want.
I asked Wedding Bug specifically if the photographer would be there and ready to start taking pictures at 2 p.m. or if the six hour package I got included the photographer set up. They assured me she would show up early and be ready to start shooting at 2. She was not. She was not ready to start taking pictures until almost 2:30, which left us less than an hour to get the pre-ceremony shots I wanted. Out of the 500 + pictures she took, over 300 hundred of them are formal lawn shots. And there the same pose over and over and over and over again. I asked her over and over again to take pictures in the garden and she kept telling me the lighting was not right, yet she and a few other people got beautiful shots of others in the garden. She absolutely ruined my processional with my father making us stop at the bottom of the aisle taking shot after shot so the bag piper was already up to the “altar” before my father and I even started walking up the aisle. She got NO shots of us actually walking UP the aisle..only shots of us from behind. There are no front shots of our ceremony. They’re all of our backs except when we turned to face each other and even then, ever single shot is from the same angle. I was told by numerous people that she did not move once during the ceremony – just stood in one spot snapping pictures. There are no shots of me putting my husband’s ring on, us being pronounced husband and wife, the reverend introducing us for the first time or of us walking (dancing) down the aisle. She actually ruined that as well since she made us for whatever reason stop and kiss halfway down. She ruined our entrance into the reception as well because again, instead of getting action shots of everyone being announced and entering the tent she messed up the timing of our announcement so that the d.j. had to rush through the announcement and immediately start playing our first dance song. She actually was yelling at my husband and me to stop walking and then after our first dance made us go back and come in the tent again.
When I got the pictures back I realized that there is NOT ONE picture of me with my whole family, NOT ONE picture of me with my sisters and brother, not one of my husband with his sisters and brothers, not one picture of just me and my husbands and my sons, and many many more shots that she should have gotten and opportunities that she missed, all memories that I will never be able to get back, but she got FIVE pictures of one of my bridesmaids and her daughter, THREE more with her daughter and her daughter’s friend and THREE more of one of my other bridesmaid’s family, ALL before the ceremony which I specifically asked her not to do.
All in all it was a terrible experience with her. While $800 may not be a lot to some people, it is to my husband and I and we would have been better off having one of our friends or someone in our family take the pictures for us.
I have filed a complaint with the district office here (The Pros) but have yet to be able to get in touch with the manager.

My husband and i were very disappointed when we received our edited video. The camera was very shaky and there were moments that weren't captured. It might be because there was only one person working it but I felt like we wasted our money. The price was pretty cheap so i guess you get what you pay for. I just thought that because they were rated the best on the Knot that they would be a good choice but I was wrong. The videographer was very nice and professional but the end product was unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this company.

Very nicely done and quality work by Brandon. The raw version arrived within 4 weeks. We barely even saw him as he captured all the moments of our daughter's wedding. When the edited versions arrived they did not play on our DVD but within 2 weeks the new edited DVD's arrived. Great price for a DVD to be treasured. Highly recommended. Thank-you.

The video was good but the videographer, Saul, was very UNPLEASANT to work with. He gave both myself and my husband attitude and was not friendly. It started to rain during our ceremony (but we still continued) and everyone didn't care that it did except him. Decent company...bad employee. (As a side note, Tiffany, the person who arranged everything was very pleasant on the phone each time and was very nice).
